Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Sora," Kairi said with amusement in her voice. She reached for his hand, grasping the one he had pointing at the book. "Do you want to know why I chose that shade of blue?" He seemed to doubt her intentions, but she was serious about this. She wasn't going to change her mind.

Sora looked over at Kairi when she grasped his hand, and he was sure his gaze held some confusion. "Yeah, sure," he said. Of course he wanted to know why Kairi picked out that specific shade of blue. It seemed so completely random to him...
Kairi's smile softened into one of love, the young girl lifting her hand and placing it on Sora's cheek. "It's the color of your eyes," she told him softly. That was why she wanted it in their wedding. It was beautiful...

Sora blinked slightly in surprise, but then a smile started to form on his lips. "Ah," he said, understanding. He hadn't even thought of that. But that meant that now he couldn't pick out Kairi's eye color for a matching color, since that would be too much blue. He'd have to find another color that was significant to him...
"Mm-hm," Kairi hummed with a faint nod, running her thumb over Sora's skin before she lowered her hand. "Now you pick," she said, looking to the book. She wanted him to pick the other color to go in their wedding.

"Alright," Sora said with a small nod, leaning forward and grabbing the book. He turned himself so that when he held up the book, Kairi couldn't see what was inside of it. "No peeking," he said, giving her a look before he started staring at the page. There had to be something he could choose that would mean something to the both of them...
Kairi laughed softly but nodded, agreeing to that. Silly, she thought silently. She meanwhile turned her attention to another catalog on the coffee table. She still had to pick flowers...but she was sure Sora would let her do that on her own.

Sora glanced up at Kairi every once in a while when he was looking at the book, trying to think of something. Not only did he need something of significance, but he needed it to match the blue Kairi chose. And as soon as he turned to a new page, his eyes landed on that color. "Kairi," he said. He had the color he wanted.
"Hm?" Kairi hummed, tucking some of her red hair behind her ear as she turned her head. Did Sora find a color to match the one she chose? If not, they had all day to think about it.

"Here," Sora said, turning the book around so that Kairi could see what he picked out. He pointed his finger at it, his eyes going from the color sample up to the girl that he loved. Yup, this is a perfect color. Without a doubt. He wasn't going to change his mind about this one.
Kairi looked down at the book, seeing the color Sora picked. The choice surprised her slightly, and she looked up at him. Burgundy? "You're sure?" she asked softly. She didn't think he would choose a shade of pink and purple. She thought he would have chosen a green or yellow...

"Positive," Sora said without hesitation, nodding as well. It seemed like Kairi was doubting his choice, which he found to be funny. He had done the same with her earlier, after all. He hadn't seen the significance in the color, and she couldn't see the significance in this one. He'd explain, if she wanted him to.
Kairi gently took the book from Sora's hands, her eyes going back to the color swatch. "Alright," she said with a small smile. "If you're sure." She wasn't sure why he chose that color, and she was sure the confusion was written on her face, but it would go well with the blue. Surprisingly well.

Sora smiled at Kairi's expression, shaking his head a little. "You picked the color of my eyes, and I picked the color of your hair," he said softly. "A perfect match." Just like me and you. It was such an easy choice to make, and he was sure once Kairi saw the significance, she would agree. This was how it was meant to be.
Kairi let her gaze find her fiance again, and she couldn't help but smile. Sora...she thought. She leaned over and pecked him on the cheek before pulling back, a blush creeping up to her cheeks. How sweet.

Sora's smile widened at Kairi's blush, the young man just staring at her. His second choice of color would have been the color of her cheeks when she blushed, but the color of her hair was better. Everything was falling into place perfectly.
Kairi returned her gaze to the book in her hands, and she set it on the coffee table before grabbing a pen and jotting down the two colors. She willed her blush away, exhaling a soft breath. "That leaves the flowers...and the dresses," she said to herself, but also to Sora. Now that they had the colors figured out, the rest would be easy.
  • Author
"And I'll leave that to you," Sora said sweetly, rising to his feet. It had taken him a while to pick out that color, so now it was time for him to head home for lunch and then go to work. That was a little lucky on his part, since he didn't want to be concerned with something as boring as flowers and dresses.
Kairi looked up at Sora with surprised eyes, but then they turned sad. "Aww," she whined. It felt like he just got here...and now Sora had to leave? How unfair...
  • Author
"Sorry babe," Sora said with a sad smile. "Gotta go get ready to work. And I gotta decide who's gonna be the best man..." He lifted a hand to the back of his head, running it over his hair. He had been stalling about that decision for way too long. And he still didn't know who to pick...Riku or Roxas?
Kairi nodded, though her eyes still expressed her sadness. "Good luck," she said softly. Picking a best man would be hard for him, but she already had her maid of honor picked out. It was Namine, even if the redhead loved Aqua like a big sister.
  • Author
"Thanks," Sora said with a small nod, grimacing. "I'll need it." He just couldn't choose between his two best friends! Riku had been with him ever since he grew up, and Roxas was his Nobody. He shared a special connection with both of them. How could he say one was good enough to be the best man while the other wasn't? That wasn't fair.
Kairi smiled and rose to her feet. She stepped over, wrapping her arms around Sora's lower back. "You'll be fine," she told him softly. "Whoever you choose, the other will understand. I'm sure of it." Riku and Roxas were both great guys, and even if they weren't the best man, they would just be happy for Sora. They were sincere that way.

Sora wrapped his arms around Kairi in a hug, squeezing her gently. "Hope you're right," he said softly, though he knew she was. Riku and Roxas were both his best friends, and they knew that he was trying to pick one of them to be the best man. They understood his dilemma. He was just glad that Riku wasn't upset, since he used to despise Roxas because he was a Nobody. But the two of them were closer now than they ever had been before.
Kairi hugged Sora back, though she turned her head and gave him a light kiss on the cheek before pulling back slightly. "Now get going," she said softly. "You don't want to be late." Today was her day off from the nursery, as every weekend was. Unfortunately Sora had to sometimes work them, so they didn't get as much time together as they sometimes hoped. But it was okay. She was sure she would see him later.
