Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Right," Sora said softly, letting Kairi go slowly. He took a few steps back towards the entrance, his eyes still on the girl he loved. "I'll see you later," he said quietly, wearing a weak smile. He couldn't stay away too long, but he couldn't avoid his job, either. He couldn't slack off with that job.
Kairi nodded, linking her hands behind her back as she smiled to her future husband. He most definitely would see her later. She was sure of it.

Sora gave his fiance one of his infamous cheesy grins as he walked backwards, giving her a wave as well. He grabbed a hold of the door handle when he was close enough and then let himself out, Kairi disappearing from his sight when the door was shut again. Time for work.
Kairi sighed once Sora was gone, turning and getting back to her catalogs. She couldn't wait to be with him, falling asleep next to him every night and waking up beside him every morning. It would be wonderful. The first few nights they would experience that would be on their honeymoon. She was sure that would be incredibly romantic, and wonderful.

Later that day

Namine sat on the beach by the sidelines, watching some of her old friends and her new friends in the middle of an intense soccer game. She had to admit, it was extremely entertaining. Everyone was so good at it, even if they hardly ever played. The teams were mixed with some of Light's friends and some of hers, and she was so glad that she got out of work early enough to watch this. Now she just wondered where her boyfriend was.

Roxas landed his glider down the beach, though laughter echoed down to where he was. He was all sweaty, and tired, since he had just been to the meadow. He was repairing it, for the person he loved. He saw that a majority of his friends were gathered in the middle of the beach, something that he wasn't surprised to see. It was okay, though; he would rather work on the meadow anyway.

Namine continued to watch the game, a small smile on her lips. She noticed how everyone was so into the game, especially Lightning and her friends. She was a little surprised at that because of what just happened with their home, but now she was beginning to realize that that was actually the reason they were so into it. They were clinging to the fun times while they could.
Roxas started down the beach, knowing that the path he was looking for was down that way. He couldn't let Namine see him so sweaty; she would be suspicious. And this...it was important, and special. She couldn't know, not yet.

Geez, I wish I was that agile, Namine thought, seeing Lightning work her way around Ven with the ball. But she just wasn't that athletic. That was okay, though, because she had her own talents. Like art. She just got Sora and Kairi's engagement pictures published, and they turned out terrific. She couldn't wait to show them to her friends.
Roxas saw Namine when he was closer, and he stopped. Okay, just gotta sneak around...he thought, biting his lip as he started to go in a wide circle behind her. He would be in the clear soon. She wouldn't even know he was there.

Before I show Sora and Kairi, though, I think I'll show Roxas, Namine thought. Where is he, anyway? She looked around, and that was when she saw him walking the path behind her. "Roxas!" she called, waving for him to come over. Here he was! She had been wondering where he was all day, since he wasn't working.
Roxas froze at the call, recognizing that voice. Drat! He turned around, spotting Namine. He smiled and lifted his hand in a weak wave before he started over.

Namine turned around a little so she was facing Roxas more, a smile still present on her lips. I knew it was only a matter of time before you showed up, she thought of him. You're probably gonna wanna jump in on the action, even if it means getting all sweaty. But...it looked like he already was sweaty. What was he up to?
Once Roxas was closer, his smile turned genuine. "Hey, beautiful," he called, walking forward the few steps that separated him and Namine. He stopped next to her, looking down at her. "What's going on?"
  • Author
"Not too much, handsome," Namine returned affectionately. "Just the soccer game. I was surprised when I walked down and saw that you weren't already a part of it." She had been there for a while, too, but he was just showing up now. And he hadn't texted her back earlier that day. What was going on with him?
"Heh," Roxas said, lifting a hand to the back of his head as he looked to the game going on. "Yeah..." He was told about the game, but he declined the invite. He would rather work on something for Namine.
  • Author
"So, what's going on with you?" Namine asked, her smile dimming a little as she kept her eyes on Roxas. "I tried texting you earlier, but you didn't answer..." Did he forget to charge his phone or something? She always scolded him for that, but she was pretty sure his phone was charged now. He just had it plugged in at his house yesterday.
"I...slept in," Roxas said with a sheepish smile. He was dead to the world whenever he slept, most of the time. "Sorry..." It was too late to join the game by the time he got the message. Not that he really wanted to play.

Namine arched a brow at Roxas, setting a hand in the sand as she gazed up at him. "You were asleep an hour ago?" she asked. "That's when I texted you.." She had gotten out of work then and texted him to see if he wanted to do something. But when he didn't respond, she came to the beach. He couldn't have slept in that late, since it was nearly dinner time now.
"That was when you texted me?" Roxas asked, feeling dumb. He soon recovered. "Oh...Then I must have been out for a run. All sweaty, see?" He motioned to his sweaty beater and shorts. That would be a good way to cover the dirty bit.
  • Author
Namine laughed at Roxas's enthusiasm to show that he was all sweaty from running. "Yes, I see, all sweaty," she said, humoring him. That must have been some run. You're drenched. It wasn't even that hot outside, but she had no reason to play twenty questions with Roxas.
"Looking good for you, babe," Roxas said with a cheesy smile. Of course, he always wanted to look good for Namine. She was that important to him. Besides, he had to get rid of all the brownies he ate yesterday; working on the meadow definitely helped.
  • Author
"I appreciate that," Namine said with a slight smirk. "But I could do without all the sweat that comes with that." She wrinkled her nose, making a face. Roxas didn't exactly smell good right now, and she was sure that if she hugged him, he would be sticky. So she wouldn't wrap her arms around him right now, and she would hope he didn't pull her close like he sometimes did when he was gross and sweaty.
Roxas rolled his eyes, his smile disappearing. "No worries," he said. "You won't have to see it any longer. I'll just be on my way." He waved lightly and started back the way he was heading. He had to get some more fertlizer.

Namine felt her expression change to one of confusion, since she saw how eager Roxas was to go. "Hey, wait up!" she called, pushing herself up and hurrying after him. She didn't want to say goodbye yet, since she felt like she hadn't seen him much lately. If he was just going home to shower, fine. She would walk him there.
