Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Love you, Kai!" Sora called sweetly. He could tell that she wasn't going to stand for this, but no way could she run away from Riku. She had been in this position enough times that she knew that she was going in, whether she wanted to or not. It was either this or she would get a hug from Sora when he came out of the water. Either way, she was getting wet.
Kairi took another step back when Riku kept walking towards her, but then she sighed. It was no use. "Why do you guys do this to me?" she said, only to hear Riku chuckle. He then proceeded to sweep her off her feet, holding her bridal style. It was fitting, considering the ring on her finger. He then started toward the water, and Kairi only glared at the ground. Why?

"It's because we love you," Sora said sweetly, smirking at the love of his life. They loved her, and they loved picking on her. And he knew that deep down, she loved it too. She loved seeing both of them goofy, especially Riku, since he was so serious all the time before.
Kairi looked over at Sora, trying hard to fight a smile. "You're lucky I love you too--ah!" The girl squeezed her eyes shut, suddenly feeling water engulf her entire body because Riku threw her in. She resurfaced, pushing her red hair out of her eyes. "Riku!"

Oh boy, Sora thought, laughing softly at how Kairi glared at Riku. Apparently he should have given her some warning before he threw her in, but it was a little late now. Now there were only a few people left who weren't in the ocean: Hope, Ven, and Namine.
Riku only laughed, knee-deep in the water. "Oh, c'mon!" he said. "It's not like it's that cold!" He saw that Kairi was coming toward him, and he cried out when she suddenly jumped on his back. "Hey! Sora, control your woman!"
  • Author
"Just a minute ago, you didn't control yours," Sora cried, though he was laughing. Lightning started this by chucking him into the ocean, and Riku hadn't stopped her from doing it. Not that he minded too much, since the water was refreshing, but still. He couldn't believe how easily Lightning threw him in even though they were all tired from the game.
"Yeah, but mine wasn't pulling your hair! Ow!" Riku cried, squeezing his eyes shut as Kairi tugged at his silver locks. She then wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled, causing him to fall into the water just as a wave came in. At least it's refreshing.

Sora laughed, shaking his head. "No, but she was pulling my arm and leg out of their sockets," he said to anybody who was listening. If Riku came up in time to hear that, great. If not, then Lightning did. He looked over at her and smiled cheesily, getting her to roll her eyes in good nature.

Kairi resurfaced alongside Riku, and after he shook his head, she punched him in the arm. "Jerk," she said with a glare. He could have warned her at least. He was lucky she didn't have any water up her nose; then he really would have been in trouble.

"I'm not always a jerk," Riku said with a smug smile. One person knew that for sure, and that was Lightning. He tried not to be a jerk around her, and most of the time he wasn't. Or so he believed; she might have had a different mindset.

  • Author
"Not always," Sora piped from his spot, smirking. But Riku could come off a little too strongly from time to time. He had a good heart, though; all of them knew that. He talked tough, but he was a big softy on the inside. But if Sora said that aloud, he would get punished. Severely.

"Whatever," Riku said, rolling his eyes. He wasn't always a jerk, but he could be from time to time. Regardless, he still had friends. Clearly he wasn't too much of a jerk.

"Now that we've had our fun, do you think we can go to dinner?" Kairi called, ringing out her hair into the water. "I'm sure Serah's waiting for us, and we're only going to be later because we all have to get changed."

  • Author
"Yeah, dinner sounds like a good idea," Sora said with a slight smile, remembering that Kairi's mention of food before was what started this trouble. He started in towards shore, not that they were too far off in the first place. He was ready to go eat.
Riku saw all of the people that were in the water start to get out, and he followed, ruffling his wet hair. A quick shower would fix everything, and then they could go eat.

Lightning got out of the water, letting her wet hair dangle over her shoulder like it usually did. She was in a tanktop and shorts, so she could get changed into her normal clothes when she got to her temporary home. She and her family didn't have time to really discuss their plans concerning Cocoon and Gran Pulse yet, since they were being kept busy. That was okay for now. They needed a little vacation.

A week later

Riku walked along a path, his hands in his pockets as his dog walked next to him. He couldn't remember the last time he took Jasmine on a walk, so it was about time he did so. He watched her sniff at the ground, thinking about this last week. Lightning had been spending a lot of time with her family, not that he doubted it would happen. After what happened between them in the future, he understood.

Light sat on the dock on the mainland, feet dangling over the edge as she stared at the play island. She had called Riku earlier telling him to meet her here, so she had a feeling he would arrive soon. Today, after many family meetings, everyone came to a decision about what they were doing. It was bitter sweet, but Lightning made her decision as well.
At the thought of the future, Riku sighed. Lightning called him earlier, and she sounded really...serious about something. She wanted him to meet her on the beach, which was where he was going now, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. He made terrible decisions in the future, and he thought that this conversation would reflect that. She's gonna end it...

Cocoon at least suffered enough damage that people couldn't live there. Lightning understood that. But Gran Pulse was still inhabitable. Even if it was just "the world down under" for her and her family, it was still a type of home to them. And they couldn't just leave it to die alone. They'd create a new home.
Riku walked onto the beach, seeing Jasmine go on ahead. She caught a scent, obviously looking over towards the source. It was then that she started barking, running across the rest of the beach to the dock. Riku followed her line of sight, seeing the woman he loved sitting on the pier. Now or never.

Light looked over her shoulder at the barking, seeing the dog that came sprinting over to her. At least Jazz was smart enough to slow down before she reached the edge of the pier. She looked down at the dog that stopped beside her and started petting her lightly before she looked back to see her owner also approaching.
Riku lifted a hand from his pocket, waving slightly to the person he loved. He had to admit, he wasn't exactly comfortable. Lightning broke up with him once before and it was ugly, and he was hurt. He didn't want that to happen again. Not when he wanted so much with her.
  • Author
"Hey, handsome," Light greeted softly, lifting her hand off Jazz's back in a small wave before it went back to the dog. She was glad to see him, even if she didn't know how he'd react to the news she was going to give him. She just had to hope for the best, because a fight was the last thing she wanted.
Riku smiled slightly, even though the pet name did throw him off. Was Light trying to soften him up? "Hey, beautiful," he replied, climbing the steps to the dock. He tried his best to prepare himself for this, but there was only so much he could do...

"What have you been up to today?" Lightning asked quietly. She didn't have to speak loud, since they were the only ones out here. It was a little after sunset, so the people weren't out here by the beach. That was why she asked Riku to meet her here, so they could talk without being interrupted.
