A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked over at Riku, seeing the way that he just stared at her. "Any other arguments?" she asked softly. She would answer them the best that she could, since she didn't want Riku to be angry she was staying. She actually hoped to stay at his house until she could get her own place.

Riku gazed at Lightning for a moment, but then he shook his head. No, he didn't have any other arguments. Light's logic made sense, not that he really expected anything less. She was incredibly intelligent, and clearly independent.

"Good," Lightning said softly, keeping her gaze on Riku. She didn't want to fight with him, now or ever. They both could get pretty wound up because of their tempers, but they always made up in the end. That was always a good thing.

Riku gazed at Lightning in silence. Now that he saw her reasoning, it actually was good. She was staying...and she wasn't ending things between them. He was relieved.

"Guess we can go job hunting together," Light said, a crooked smile forming on her lips. Riku was looking for work, and now she would have to do the same, since she was going to live there. She wished she had all the money she made on Cocoon, but that was impossible to get now. Oh well. That's how it goes sometimes.

"Hm," Riku hummed softly, the smallest of smiles appearing on his face. He turned his head, looking up at the moon that had taken its place in the sky. "And house hunting too." He needed to find his own place, and Lightning would have to do the same. But then he realized that he worded it wrong, and what it implied. Oh...

Lightning smirked, humming at Riku's poor wording. "And what is that supposed to mean?" she asked with an arched brow, nudging him with her elbow. He couldn't have possibly just meant that they would permanently live together. They had done it before, but...She didn't know. She knew Riku's parents were pretty conservative, and they didn't want him living with a girl out of wedlock.

Riku lifted a hand to the back of his head, ruffling his silver hair. He didn't know how to answer that, exactly, because it was a slip of the tongue. "That depends," he finally said, switching things around. He looked over at the woman he loved, smiling. "What do you want it to mean?"

Light shook her head. "Nope. You first." Even if it depended on her response, she wanted to hear what Riku meant by what he just said. He seemed a little flustered by it, so she was going to enjoy making him even more flustered if she could.

"...You already know I worded it wrong," Riku said. Sort of. He did want to live with Lightning, but it wasn't exactly what he meant. He doubted his parents would be okay with that, despite how old he was.

"Well, if I didn't, I know now," Lightning said, shifting her gaze to the ocean. She feigned hurt, as if Riku's words were actually a surprise to her. You worded it wrong? You mean you don't want to live together? Ouch, Riku. Ouch.

Riku rolled his eyes, sighing. "Lightning," he said in a knowing tone. He knew that she knew what he was talking about. Why did she have to tease him?

"No, I get it," Lightning said, rising to her feet. "You want to do house hunting together so that you can pick a house that's as far away from mine as possible. You couldn't stand to put up with me one block away, let alone with you. Understandable."

"Yup, you nailed it right on the head," Riku said, glancing up at Lightning. Of course, that was completely opposite of what he wanted; he wanted to be with her every day and every night, but it wasn't possible right now.

"Alright then," Light said with a small nod, looking at the ocean. "I'll start by getting out of your hair now, then." She turned and started walking away, though she had a feeling that she wouldn't get far. Whenever she teased Riku like this, he always stopped her from going too far.

Riku reached behind him slightly, grabbing Lightning's leg and keeping her from leaving. "You're not going anywhere," he said, looking up at her. He just got here, and he wanted to be with her. He hadn't seen her much this last week.

Light stopped when Riku grabbed her leg, and she looked down to give him a look. "My leg? Really?" she asked with an arched brow. "What would have happened if that tripped me up and made me fall on my face?" She would have had splinters all over if this was a bad dock. And that would have been painful.

"I'd take care of you," Riku said, not missing a beat. Of course, he would feel awfully bad for causing her physical pain, but he would help take that pain away.

"I don't know if I'd let you," Lightning said smoothly, giving Riku the same look. If he made her fall, then why would she want his help in getting better? If anything, she'd shove him away and take care of herself. Well...if he was a normal guy. Which he wasn't.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, the boy gazing up at the woman he loved. "Don't be like that," he said softly. He knew she was joking, but still... He never liked to hear that kind of thing leave her mouth.

"You take me too seriously sometimes," Lightning said softly, though she was speaking lovingly at the same time. She was only teasing him; there was no need to get upset over it. It wasn't like she even said anything that bad.

Riku heard the tone, which warmed his heart. "Because I care what you think," he admitted softly. Lightning's opinion was one that Riku took to heart. He cared that much.

"Well, I should hope so," Light said with a soft smile. "If you didn't, we'd have a problem." She cared about Riku, so of course she wanted him to care in return. And she knew that he always would, no matter what.

"Mm," Riku hummed, smiling ever so slightly. He let his hand leave Lightning's leg, his fingertips traveling over the revealed skin briefly. It was getting late, and he was pretty sure Lightning needed to get back to the condo. Unless she wanted to stay out.

"C'mon, goof," Lightning said with a crooked smile, offering Riku her hand so that he could stand up. She didn't know what they would do now, but she would love to spend more time with him. It had been too long since they spent any real time together.
