Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's small smiled remained as he turned and grabbed Lightning's hand, getting up to his feet. "I don't know why you call me 'goof' all the time," he admitted aloud, starting to walk with the woman he loved. "I'm not even that goofy."

Light rolled her eyes, keeping a hold of Riku's hand as Jazz quickly caught up to them. "You're goofier than you think. The name stands." His sense of humor wasn't as obvious as other people's, but she caught onto it. And obviously he understood hers as well. If he didn't, they would have trouble laughing with each other.
Riku lifted Light's hand to his lips, kissing it before lowering it as they continued to walk. "I'll take your word for it," he said, glancing over at her as they walked hand in hand. They were both observant, and she saw some things in him that he never noticed, and it was the same the other way around.

"Hmph," Light hummed softly, smiling weakly both at Riku's words and his gesture. After a few more steps, she gently lifted his hand to her lips and performed the same gesture that he did a minute ago. She then lowered his hand so both their hands were between them, keeping them together still.
Riku's smile only remained as he walked with Light along the beach. "So, back to the condo?" he asked softly. He would walk her back home, and then head home himself.
  • Author
"Wherever you wanna go," Light responded softly, squeezing Riku's hand. She would take a little more family time before they left, but for now, all of them were doing their own thing anyway. She could take some time to catch up with Riku after not spending any real time with him for the past week.
"Anywhere," Riku said softly. "I'll have you here with me for longer than I thought, so I'm perfectly fine. Where do you want to go?" He was happiest when he was with her, and as long as Light was with him, he was content. Wherever she wanted to go, he would take her.

"I wanna go wherever you wanna go," Light said, nudging Riku softly with her elbow and smiling faintly. She didn't have any place in mind, and Riku still knew the Islands better than she ever would. If he had a good idea on where to go, then they could go there.
"...My place?" Riku asked softly, looking over at the person he treasured. Lightning hadn't been over in a while, and he had to get Jasmine back anyway. They could do anything there.

"Sure," Light responded softly, nodding faintly as well. She assumed that they would just hang out there, and maybe watch a movie. And cuddle. No matter what they did, it wouldn't be anything that required adrenaline. And she was okay with that.

Two days later

Roxas sat on his bed, his guitar in his hands. He was feeling a little down, which was why he was strumming the same chords over and over again. Namine wasn't speaking to him, and he didn't know why. He had been so busy with the meadow lately that he hadn't seen her much, yeah, but whenever he tried calling her, she was short. Eventually, she ignored his calls altogether. It hurt, but he tried to avoid the situation by continuing to work on the meadow. It was the only way he could really keep himself busy.

Sora approached his brother's bedroom, seeing that the door was open. He still knocked on it a little bit, stepping inside and stopping a step in. "Hey, man," he greeted softly. Roxas was obviously down, but he didn't know why. And soon, he would give him another reason to be upset. They needed to talk about something.
Roxas stopped strumming, looking up to see Sora in the door. "Hey. What's up?" he asked, curiosity on his face. Sora only ever came into his room if he needed something, and they hadn't seen each other the past few days. Roxas always came home and crashed.
  • Author
"I think...we gotta talk about something," Sora said, stepping in and then leaning his back against the wall by the door. He was hearing a lot from Kairi these days about Namine, and he didn't like it. Not only was Namine one of his best friends, but so was Roxas. And he didn't like how Roxas wasn't talking to her lately, but he didn't like Namine's theories either. Even if she had a lot of evidence to back them up.
"...Okay?" Roxas said uneasily, setting his guitar aside. He didn't know what this "something" could be, especially discussed between him and Sora. It sounded bad, though, which Roxas didn't like. He didn't need bad news right now, not in the middle of things with Namine.

Sora paused for a moment before he started, though he started with a question. "What have you been up to lately, man? You've been avoiding all of us..." And hanging out with another girl. Kairi even saw you giving her flowers... That wasn't a good sign at all, especially since Roxas was also avoiding Namine more than anyone else.
"Uh...nothing," Roxas said, shaking his head slightly while keeping eye contact. "Nothing." He wasn't up to anything that they needed to know about. Not yet anyway.
  • Author
Sora's eyebrows furrowed slightly, the teen shaking his head. "I know that's not true," he said quietly, voice low in tone. Roxas was only going to dig himself a deeper grave if he lied to him now. He was here to help, as always. He was sure his friend didn't want to hurt Namine like he was doing now.
Roxas looked away, knowing that he had to accept defeat. Sora knew something was up, and he was pretty stubborn; Roxas couldn't lie and hope he bought it. Sora would keep pestering him until he caved.
  • Author
"Trust me, Roxas, you don't wanna lie to me right now," Sora said lowly. "It'll only make things look worse." Of course he was going to tell Kairi about this conversation, and Kairi would probably tell Namine. Unless Roxas spoke to Namine himself, which he hadn't been doing lately. That was so unusual, since Roxas adored Namine. ...Or at least he used to, before this other girl was in the picture.
"Look, there's...something I've been doing lately," Roxas said, scratching the back of his head as he looked at Sora. "And I need to keep it a secret from Namine. She can't know yet..." She couldn't know about the meadow. Little did Roxas know, his wording would make his case even worse.
  • Author
Sora lifted a hand to his face, covering his eyes and lowering his head a little. "You gotta be kidding," he mumbled lowly, though he was mostly just speaking to himself. Roxas really was cheating on Namine! He was sure that whatever he'd say next would confirm that. Roxas couldn't deny it forever, especially when the pieces were lined up so perfectly. Namine was right...
Roxas lifted an eyebrow at the muttered words. "You're not even letting me explain," he said, confused. "There's a good reason for this, I swear." He wouldn't stop talking to Namine for nothing. He had a valid reason.
  • Author
Sora lowered his hand back to his side, looking back at Roxas under slightly furrowed eyebrows. "I'm listening," he said, though he didn't know how Roxas could have a good reason for this. There was never a good reason to cheat on the person that you loved. Roxas should have known that, since Namine had a thing with another guy for a little while.
Roxas sighed, looking down at the carpet as he started. "It's been nearly a week since I started doing this whole thing. The reason why I stopped talking to Namine so much is because I know I can't lie to her... It's too hard." He shook his head slightly. "Kenzie's been good about keeping it quiet, but being around Namine makes it worse. She'll see right through me."
