Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked away, angry for Namine's sake. Kenzie was the other girl's name. Roxas was admitting that there was another girl. It was so clear. How can you do this to Namine? he thought silently, biting his tongue so he wouldn't say anything. I thought you wanted to propose to her...And now you're cheating? It makes no sense. "She already does see through you," Sora managed. She sees it all.
Roxas looked up with a start, blinking in surprise. "She does?" he asked softly. No... She couldn't have known. That would ruin everything Roxas worked for!

"Everyone's seen you around with that girl," Sora stated, eyebrows furrowed as he looked up at Roxas. "Kairi saw you give her flowers the other day, to top everything off. And of course she told Namine..." Namine didn't take that well. It was one of many things confirming that Roxas was cheating on her.
Give who flowers? Kenzie? "W-wait a minute..." Roxas said, holding a hand up as he tried to sort this out. That wasn't right! If anything, Kenzie was the one giving him the flowers! He asked for them so he could plant them in the meadow!

Sora arched a brow, but he still continued. "Namine's seen you with her too, laughing and smiling a lot. Roxas...how can you cheat on Namine like this?" He was so enthusiastic about his relationship with Namine, and now he was throwing it away like it was nothing. That was stupid.
Cheating?! "What are you talking about?!" Roxas asked impatiently. "I'm not cheating on Namine! I would never!" He was standing by this point, his feet planted on the soft carpet as he stared at Sora in disbelief. Sora thought he was cheating on Namine?!

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, standing up straight. "Roxas...you said it yourself. You're spending a lot of time with Kenzie and keeping secrets from Namine. And basically everyone's seen you with her, and how you've been avoiding Namine. You can't lie about this." He was cheating, whether he was going to admit it or not.
Roxas could only stare at Sora in disbelief. He, along with all of Roxas's other friends, honestly thought he was cheating on the person he loved? The person that made him feel love in the first place? "This isn't happening," he muttered, running a hand through his hair as he glanced away from his brother. Did people really think that lowly of him? And Namine...did she?

"I wish it wasn't," Sora muttered in return, looking down at the ground. He didn't want this, for either of his friends. Didn't the two of them have enough drama already? Roxas should have known better than to go behind Namine's back like this; it turned out terrible when she did that with Ben.
"You guys really think that lowly of me?" Roxas asked, his voice low with aggravation. "You really think I'd be that stupid?" He would never, ever cheat on Namine. That was one of the stupidest things he'd ever heard!

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, looking back up at Roxas. "...Are you saying you're not cheating?" he asked cautiously. That was what it sounded like, but didn't Roxas see how bad this looked? He was with that other girl, away from Namine, and keeping secrets. And giving her flowers, and having dinner with her. If she wasn't a girlfriend, what was she?
"That's exactly what I'm saying!" Roxas said in outrage, looking up at his friend. Sora was just now figuring that out? "Do you think I'm an idiot?" Letting Namine go would be one of the biggest mistakes of his life. No, it would definitely be the biggest. He would lose himself if he lost her.

"Well...keeping secrets from Namine is a pretty dumb move," Sora said in recovery. He was confused now. Roxas seemed utterly appalled at the idea of cheating. Was he in denial that deeply? Or was he telling the truth? He hoped it was the latter, but it looked bad.
"It's not dumb when you're planning a proposal," Roxas said, frowning at his best friend as he crossed his arms over his chest. He had to keep secrets from Namine in order for this plan to work, but at this rate, it didn't even look like he would get the chance.

Sora blinked, not knowing how to respond. "Wait, what?" That still didn't make any sense! Roxas was hanging out with Kenzie all the time and avoiding Namine! How could he need the help of another girl to propose? Especially since he took that girl out to dinner and paid for the meal.
"Kenzie's a friend from the flower shop, Sora," Roxas explained lowly, ticked that his friend would think so lowly of him. And that Namine would think so lowly of him...That hurt. "She's helping me pick out flowers to plant in the meadow. Mine and Namine's meadow." He'd been working on it for a little over a week now. And he didn't plan to stop for a while.

Sora looked away, tilting his head back and groaning. "Man, Roxas, if you were doing something like that, why didn't you let at least one person know? And why'd you make it look so bad! Avoiding Namine, spending time with Kenzie all the time, handing her flowers, taking her out to dinner..." What was the last thing about?
"Whoever said I was handing her the flowers was mistaken," Roxas said, continuing to tell Sora the truth. "They saw us after Kenzie handed them over to me, that way I could go plant them." Whoever was there at the time got the wrong picture. Kenzie was nothing more than a friend.
  • Author
"And what about dinner?" Sora asked as he stared up at the ceiling. "Kairi and Namine were there, Roxas. They saw you laughing and smiling with her, and paying for her meal." If this was purely business, then why did he treat her like a girlfriend?
"That was the only time she was available to meet up with me and talk about recreating the meadow," Roxas said, uncrossing his arms and looking at Sora with disbelief. "She was giving me ideas, which was why we were smiling. They were good ones." A few times she cooed about the idea he had come up with, which made him shy. That was probably why he was laughing when...Namine saw him. "And I paid for the meal out of common courtesy."
  • Author
Sora sighed, looking back at Roxas after a minute. He...believed him. "Okay. I believe you. But you have to realize how bad this looks. You started hanging out with a girl and avoiding Namine at the same time, and keeping all of us out of the loop. It all looks really bad." He would have freaked if Namine did this. He already did in the past.
"Yeah, I know," Roxas said, looking away. "Sorry about not telling you, but this surprise is huge. I can't have anyone slip a word of it." It was like Sora and Kairi's engagement pictures, but bigger. Much bigger. This was a proposal, and it had to be perfect.
  • Author
"I think that's the least of your problems now," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing as he looked at Roxas. Now he had Namine to consider. She believed that he was cheating on her, and she wouldn't accept anything but the truth if she was going to trust Roxas again. He would probably have to tell her about the engagement plans.
Roxas looked back up at Sora, and when he registered the expression his friend wore, he shook his head. "No way," he said, his eyes wide. "I can't tell Namine! It'll ruin everything!" The secret would be out, and he wouldn't be able to surprise her!
  • Author
"Like I said," Sora said softly. "That's the least of your problems now." Namine didn't trust Roxas. She didn't want to see his face, and neither did Kairi. Or Riku. Even Riku heard about what was going on, and he was ticked off like an overprotective brother. Roxas needed to set things straight, no matter what the cost was.
