Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora felt like he needed to sit up to have a serious discussion, so he had stop savoring Kairi's hand in his hair and focus on the situation at hand. He set his hands on the ground and pushed himself into a sitting position, explaining at the same time. "My heart...It took me to this place, sort of like where I went when I first got the Keyblade." Obviously it was just a dream, but it was still significant.
Kairi's hand found her lap when Sora sat up, where his head had been before. However, her eyes stayed on him, waiting to hear more. She wasn't exactly sure what he was talking about, but she would listen.

"This voice...It talked to me," Sora said, sitting upright and looking towards Kairi then Riku. "It said that the Keyblade wanted to come back to me, but...It can't." His heart was broken.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed even more at that explanation, but he needed another to answer his question. "Why not?" he asked. Why couldn't the Keyblade reclaim him as its master?

Sora lifted a hand to his chest, his gaze down on the ground. "Because my heart is fractured." He didn't even know exactly what that meant, but he knew that it wasn't good. And he didn't even know how to fix it!
Kairi's eyes grew at the declaration, and she frowned in worry. "Fractured?" she repeated. What did that mean exactly? Surely it had something to do with what happened between the trio... Or maybe it was just her and Sora. Whichever it was, how could they fix it?

Sora looked over at Kairi, nodding as he lowered his hand. "I don't know exactly what that means," he said, looking between his two friends. "But I can't become a Keyblade master again as long as my heart is broken."

"Then we're just going to have to figure it out," Riku stated. That was the only option they had, and he was sure that he wasn't the only one that would stop at nothing to do that.

Kairi looked over at Riku and nodded once in agreement. The Keyblade... It still belonged to Sora. It was just waiting for him to get better before returning to him. They could find a solution to this, couldn't they?

"Mm," Sora hummed, nodding in agreement. Now that they knew what the problem was, they had to find some way to fix it. And since the Keyblade wanted to come back to him, he didn't see it as wrong to try and help it accept him again. What a relief it was, knowing that the Keyblade wasn't against him!
Kairi let her gaze leave Riku and go to the boy between them, her blue eyes locked on him now. He said his heart was fractured...broken. Was that because of her? She didn't see any other way around it, really. They were all friends again, so their friendship wasn't an issue. Sora's Light wasn't back yet...not completely. Was it?

Sora looked down at the ground in thought, not noticing Kairi's stare. How could his heart have been broken? Did something inside him shatter when the Keyblade was destroyed? But, if that was the case, then how was he supposed to fix his heart? And was that even the reason why his heart was fractured?

Kairi felt her eyes grow soft at the thoughts in her mind. She really was the reason why Sora's Keyblade wasn't returning to him... It was knowledge that she felt from her heart, which meant it could only be true. However, she blinked when she was snapped out of her thoughts by a voice.

"We need to go inform Terra, Aqua, and Ven," Riku mentioned. They needed to know about this as well. They were worried too.

"You think they'll be able to help?" Sora asked, lifting his gaze to Riku when his friend disrupted his thoughts. He really wasn't sure how to fix this problem, and maybe Riku wasn't either. Was that why they were going to ask the others for help?
"It's a possibility," Riku said with a small nod. Maybe one of them had gone through something like this before...or knew someone that did. It was really difficult, so all they could do was mention what was going on.

"Okay," Sora said with a faint nod. He set a hand on the ground beside him and pushed himself up onto his feet. However, he was glad that the tree was behind him, because he still felt a little unbalanced and dizzy. He set a hand on the tree and looked down towards the ground, regaining his balance.
Kairi saw Sora get up, and she glanced up at him before setting her hands on the ground and standing herself. She offered a hand to Riku once she was up, helping him up as well.

"Maybe you guys could find them?" Sora suggested, keeping a hand on the tree and looking down. "I need to get something to eat." And drink, he added silently, very thirsty.
Riku nodded. "Alright," he said, then turning his head to look down at the redhead. "Let's go, Kairi." He watched the girl nod before walking slightly behind her, heading for the bridge so they could go get the others.

Sora stayed at the tree for a few moments, staring down at the ground. He wasn't about to pass out again; he wouldn't let himself do that. He would surely feel better once he had something to eat. He exhaled a soft breath before he released the tree and started walking towards the bridge.
As Kairi and Riku walked along the beach, the redhead couldn't help but glance back at the boy she loved. She saw him already moving, but she still felt worried. What would have to happen in order for his heart to repair itself?
  • Author
Sora kept his gaze down on the ground, again missing that Kairi was staring at him. He just kept trying to things that could have broken his heart in the first place, and how they could be repaired. But all he could think about was how his Keyblade shattered. Did that create his injury?
Kairi bit her lip, turning her eyes forward again. There had to be some way to make things better... Whether she did it, or something else caused it. It had to be done, either way.

Sora couldn't think of anything else, the teen having blocked a certain event out of his mind so he wouldn't dwell on it. He refused to think about that. So, he would accept that his heart was broken by his separation from the Keyblade unless somebody else came up with a better explanation.
Riku helped Kairi get into her boat when they reached the dock, then getting into his own. He started paddling alongside her, making their way back to the island to inform the others on what Sora just discovered. It was essential.

A few days later...

Sora laid down on the Paopu tree on the islet, facing towards the sky as he tried to sort things out for the ten-millionth time. Nobody had known how to heal Sora's heart, so they sent letters to Master Yen Sid and King Mickey for help. But they didn't know either. So, Sora and his friends would have to keep searching for an answer. Why did it feel like the solution was right in front of them, and none of them could see it?
