Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"About what? How you cheated?" Riku said, rolling his eyes. "I doubt Namine will take you back after that. You screwed up, but alcohol isn't going to fix a thing, Roxas." He saw the angry look on the blond's face, but he spoke the truth, whether Roxas liked it or not.

Roxas took a step toward Riku, his anger boiling at the words. She would take him back! Namine loved him! How could he say that?! Oblivion appeared in Roxas's hand as he took another step toward Riku. "I didn't cheat!" he hollered in outrage. No way was he going to get away with saying something like that to him!

So, he's denying it, then, Namine thought in sadness, though her eyes widened at how Roxas summoned his weapon. "Roxas, don't--!" She didn't finish speaking, not finding any words to say. Don't what? Do anything stupid? Attack Riku? He was only standing up for what he saw to be right! Things didn't need to get violent here... She stepped forward, between Riku and Roxas as her eyes were on the latter. Don't do this...Please...

By the time Namine stepped in, Roxas was already over the edge. He took another step forward, lifting his arms to swing, his focus solely on Riku. "She's gonna take me back!" he cried.

Kairi saw what was happening, and her best friend's name left her lips before she knew it. "Riku!" Roxas was going to hit Namine!

Riku already saw what was coming by the time Kairi hollered, and he quickly stepped in front of Namine and blocked Roxas's blade with his own. The blond blinked and looked up at him, but Riku only pushed his blade roughly against Oblivion, causing Roxas to fall back into the sand. "What's the matter with you?!" he roared. "You could have killed her!"

Namine exhaled a ragged breath, eyes still wide because of what nearly happened. Roxas...almost hit her. With a weapon. She was shaken up, to say the least. She was already standing right behind her big brother, so she couldn't help but lean her forehead against his back and close her eyes. She needed a minute to cope with this. Roxas actually would have hurt her...
Roxas looked up at Riku with hard eyes, though his words knocked him out of his angry state. He almost did what? Roxas turned his head, looking to the two fuzzy figures that weren't towering over him at the moment. He saw Kairi give him a look of fear and disappointment, and the blond didn't know what to make of his brother's expression.

Sora stared at Roxas for a few moments in shock and disappointment before he finally found his voice. "...It's time to go." He needed to take Roxas home, even if his parents would ground him for taking the beer. Things went too far just now with Roxas summoning his Keyblade.

Roxas pushed himself to his feet, but the realization of what happened reached his mind, and he suddenly felt sick to his stomach. He stumbled on his feet, walking past Sora and Kairi to stand in the water. He shuddered slightly at the thought of what he almost did before he put his hands on his knees, starting to get sick into the ocean water.

Kairi turned away from Roxas, lifting her hands to cover her face. She couldn't believe this was happening. What happened to the sweet Roxas she used to know and Namine loved? He met Kenzie...and became a drunk. That's what happened.

Namine lifted her forehead off Riku's back, turning her head to look at Roxas through stunned eyes. Obviously he was sick because of the beer. She wanted to say that he deserved the pain, and maybe he did, but the sight of him getting sick still made her eyes get moist. Roxas...

The water retreated into the sea, taking Roxas's sickness with it. He fell to his knees, suddenly feeling faint as well. I could've...I could've... Roxas squeezed his eyes closed, ignoring the water that rushed in and soaked his jeans.

Kairi looked at Roxas now that he was done getting sick, and seeing him the way he was made her instantly sympathetic. She was just mad at him, but he was miserable behind all the booze. Everyone knew that. "...Someone should take him home," she said, looking to her fiance. Roxas couldn't stay out here.

"Yeah," Sora said softly after a moment, starting towards the ocean and his best friend. "I'll take him." He bent his knees and grabbed one of his friend's arms, wrapping it around his shoulders before he helped him up. It was time they got out of here.
"That's probably not a good idea," Riku said, watching Sora move toward Roxas, who was probably fighting the urge to get sick again. "Your parents will hear him and you'll both be in trouble. Someone else should take him." He wouldn't do it, no way. Riku wasn't that hospitable.
  • Author
"You're probably right," Sora said, looking over his shoulder at Riku while supporting his best friend. "But who else can do it? I know that you won't..." Not only would Riku refuse to take Roxas in, but it wasn't good for Roxas to go with him either. Sora and Riku's parents were close, so they'd catch wind of Roxas being drunk if Roxas stayed with Riku.
Kairi saw Riku nod once in agreement. If he wasn't going to take him, and Sora wouldn't... Kairi looked to her roommate and sister, biting her lip. They were the only ones that could take Roxas in. If they didn't, someone would find him and the authorities could get involved.

Namine felt Kairi's gaze on her as she stared at the ground, but she had already reached her decision before her sister looked at her. "I'll take him," she said quietly. Not Kairi. She was the reason Roxas was drinking, so she would take care of him. It would break her heart not to.
Kairi gave Namine a look, but then she nodded. If Namine was sure about this, she would help her get Roxas to the house. It was the least she could do as well. He didn't need to sit out here alone.

Namine didn't catch Kairi's look, lifting her gaze to Sora and her ex now that they were turned towards her and the other two people here. "Sora, do you need help...?" When the brunet nodded faintly, she hesitantly took a step forward and then walked the rest of the distance between them, wrapping Roxas's arm around her shoulders. She would help.
Roxas stared at the ground for a moment, though he did look over at the person who just took his other arm. "What're you doing?" he asked weakly. "Don't you hate me?" Didn't Namine want to be as far away from him as possible?
  • Author
Namine kept a hold on Roxas's hand, starting forward as Sora did the same. "I'm mad at you," she stated quietly. "But I love you too much to ever hate you." Even if he cheated and became somebody different, she would love him for who he used to be. She couldn't give her heart to anyone else.
Roxas didn't say anything to that, instead walking with the support of his brother and ex-girlfriend. He closed his eyes, trusting them in his drunken stupor to lead him in the right direction and not over the side of a cliff. But he did deserve it, for all he'd done.

It took everyone a little while to get Roxas to the apartment, and when they did, Sora had to run right away. He had to get home before his parents did and make sure the house wasn't a wreck. And he had to get rid of the smell of alcohol. That left Namine and Kairi alone with Roxas, who Namine just had lay down in her own bed.

Roxas stared up at the ceiling, becoming dizzier and dizzier as it spun in circles. He eventually gripped the bedsheets, hoping he didn't fall off, but it was no use. He groaned, trying to turn away from the spinning, but he only fell off the bed. A large thump sounded from Namine's bedroom when he landed on the ground, and when he hit his head on the bedside table. He grunted, though he opened his eyes to see the room still turning. "Ugh, why is everything spinning?!" he hollered.

Kairi turned her head as she and Namine sat in the kitchen, her eyes finding the hall as Roxas's outburst echoed through the apartment. She sighed, disappointed in him. In another life this could have been funny, and looking back on it if things got better, it probably would be. But right now, it was just wrong.

Namine lifted a hand to her forehead, shaking her head in disbelief as she wordlessly pushed herself up from the chair. Roxas couldn't be so loud, or they could get into serious trouble. She quickly walked down the hall and into her bedroom, seeing the young man laying on the ground. "Roxas, shh!" she scolded, starting over towards him. He had to quiet down. She hated seeing him like this in the first place, so him hollering like an idiot and reminding her of what happened was only making this harder. Why couldn't he just fall asleep and wake up and be her Roxas again...?
Roxas continued to lie on his stomach, his face pressed against the carpet as he lay next to the bed. Upon hearing the voice he opened his eyes, noticing feet coming toward him. And they were spinning. "Everything's still spinning!" he hollered, lifting a hand to cover his face. He was going to get sick if this kept up.

Namine bent down by Roxas, slipping her hand over his mouth since his hand was over his eyes. "Roxas, shut up!" she hissed softly. He was going to get himself caught at this rate, and that wasn't good at all. She didn't want him getting into trouble; he was in enough trouble with her for even thinking about drinking.
Roxas kept his hand over his eyes, becoming silent at the hand that covered his mouth and the hiss. He sighed, trying his hardest to calm down, but this was so weird! Everything was spinning and he didn't like it one bit; his heart was racing.
