Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Namine, wait," Roxas said, starting after her. Couldn't she just listen to him for a second? If she didn't want him to show her, could she just listen? Would it be that hard?

"Go to bed, Roxas!" Namine said without turning around, hurrying out of the room and slamming the door shut behind her. She leaned her back against it, eyes wide at the thought of what could have happened. This was almost worse than hitting her with the Keyblade. Roxas would definitely regret all this in the morning; she was sure of that.
Roxas stared at the door in the darkness, standing in the middle of the room. He cursed under his breath, his hands balling into fists. Why doesn't she love me back?! he thought, turning toward the bed and collapsing onto it. He stuffed his face into the pillow, wanting the spinning, the headache, and all the heartbreak to go away.

The next morning

Namine was laying on the floor by the bed, a blanket partially covering her as her head was on a pillow. She slept there the whole night, and it was a good thing she did. Roxas was sick throughout most of the night, and so she always helped him to the bathroom so he could throw up there instead of on the carpet. She was tired from not getting any deep sleep, but she was out now, though Roxas would probably wake up soon since morning was here.

Roxas rolled over in his sleep, starting to wake from his dreamless and restless slumber. Every hour or so he had gotten up to get sick in the middle of the night, but he eventually stopped around two in the morning. His stomach still ached, something he noticed as he became more conscious, but he didn't feel like he would get sick. His head hurt though, which made him groan softly.

Namine remained asleep, turned on her side and facing the bed as she tried to get rest while she could. Fortunately, Kairi was covering her shift at the daycare today, for more reasons than one. One was because Namine obviously didn't sleep well, and another was because she didn't feel like working. How could she be happy and cheerful with the kids when the young man she loved made himself so drunk last night? She was so worried about him...
Roxas opened his eyes, squinting at the sunlight that came through the window. Morning? he thought, confused. And he didn't have white curtains... He sat up, looking around with alarmed eyes. But then he noticed the artwork on the walls and the vanity mirror, recognizing this room. It was Namine's. The boy's eyes widened and he looked to the side, seeing that he was in her bed and that she was on the floor. "Oh no," he groaned softly, falling back into the bed and staring at the ceiling. What did I do?

Namine's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at the voice, the girl hearing it since she was sleeping lightly in case Roxas needed anything. It was surprisingly easy to take care of him, even with how furious and disappointed she was with him. She still loved him, so she pushed those things aside and took care of him. And that was that.
Roxas put an arm over his eyes and fought the urge to groan in shame. Why was he in Namine's room? And why did he have such a headache? What did I even do last night?

Namine woke up because of Roxas's soft "oh no", even if she tried to get herself to sleep again. She exhaled a soft breath and set her hands on the ground, pushing herself up a little bit. The blanket fell past her waist so it was only covering her legs, the young woman lifting a hand and rubbing her eyes tiredly. Morning already?
Roxas heard the movement beside him, but he didn't react. He actually froze, keeping his arm over his eyes to try and hide his shame. Namine hated him; she broke up with him. And yet he was here? I did something stupid... I know it.

Namine turned her torso, looking over at the young man in bed. And she knew that wasn't a natural sleep position for him, so that was why she asked her next question. "You awake?" she inquired quietly, forcing herself to wake up a little more in case the answer was "yes". He should have been sober by now, too.
"Mm," Roxas grunted softly, still not moving. What did I do to you last night? he wondered painfully. Please don't tell me I did anything worth regretting. But with his luck, he probably did.

Namine blinked at the response, not knowing what to say now that he actually was awake. "Okay," she said quietly. She didn't know what else to say, since the two of them weren't on good terms. Things were even worse now that he chose to drink. That was the most idiotic thing Roxas had ever done, and she would scold him so severely that he would never do that again.
"...I smell alcohol," Roxas said, having noticed such a thing when he woke up. "What happened last night?" He didn't really want to know, but he had to find out. If he didn't...well, it wouldn't be good.

You don't remember? Namine thought instantly, though she bit her tongue to stop herself from asking a dumb question. Obviously he didn't remember, or he wouldn't have asked. But was that a good thing or a bad? Maybe good, because he didn't remember all the stupid stuff he said or did. Or tried to do. "You got drunk," she said, turning her head and glaring at the ground. That's what happened.
Roxas groaned, lifting his arm and closing his eyes. That was why he felt so bad then... He didn't know what to say to that, instead focusing on the smell of beer that came from him and the awful taste he had in his mouth; the headache he had and the way his stomach hurt. Great...

"I think Sora stopped by earlier and left you a clean pair of clothes," Namine said quietly, pushing herself up off the ground. "You should take a shower and then get changed." He couldn't exactly go home when he was smelling so terrible. She'd have to wash her sheets too, but that was alright. At least they made it through the night without anyone finding out Roxas drank.
Roxas nodded slightly, pushing himself up. "Yeah...right," he said softly, turning to climb off the bed on the opposite side Namine was. He saw the clothes Namine talked about on top of her dresser, and he thanked his brother for his generosity. How many people knew he drank, though? Hopefully not too many...

Namine glanced over at Roxas before looking back down at the sheets that he slept on. "You can throw your dirty clothes outside the bathroom," she said softly. "I'll wash them with the bedsheets." They needed to do whatever they could to make last night disappear. If his parents found out, or the authorities did, it would have been terrible.
Roxas nodded, glancing back at the bed when he heard the last few words. He then looked at Namine before turning away with shame. "Sorry," he said softly. Getting drunk...it wasn't in the agenda. He remembered grabbing some beer from the liquor cabinet, but only because he wanted to get rid of all the pain. He didn't want this.

Namine kept her gaze on the bedsheets, though she didn't accept Roxas's apology. What was he sorry for? Cheating? Getting drunk? Almost killing her? Trying to... "Just go get in the shower," she said softly, cutting off her own thoughts. She couldn't face them right now, nor could she face Roxas. Not after all he did.
Roxas grabbed his clothes and walked out of the room without another word, following the order. He did something stupid last night, and obviously to Namine. He would do whatever she asked, even if it wouldn't make things better.

Namine sighed after Roxas walked out, wordlessly gathering the bedsheets so that she could wash them. They reeked, and as she held them, she realized that her current clothes would also have the smell of alcohol in them. She took the blankets to the washer down the hall before she went back to her room, changing into fresh clothes.
Roxas showered in the apartment's bathroom, fighting the urge to throw his head against the shower wall because of how stupid he was last night. Instead he got out and stared at the steam that gathered on the mirror, his towel around his waist for the moment. He had to get a grip, no matter how upset with himself he was. He hurt Namine... He could see that, and it killed him inside.
