Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

After Namine threw her clothes, the bedsheets, and Roxas's clothes into the wash, she couldn't decide on what to do. She supposed that making breakfast would be good. She was hungry, and Roxas probably was too. He always was. So as Roxas stayed in the bathroom, she was in the kitchen, making scrambled eggs for the two of them.
Roxas got dressed after pondering his chances of fixing this, and they weren't good. He used one of the disposable cups set up in the bathroom for some mouthwash, since he didn't have his toothbrush. He was too busy chugging beer last night to think clearly. But it wasn't like he thought he would be staying at Namine's of all places. This was just...bizarre. Why did she even let him stay?

Namine finished with breakfast, putting the eggs on two plates. She also made buttered toast and put out beverages, sitting everything on the table before she sat down in her seat. She didn't start, though, wondering if Roxas was coming out of the bathroom or not. This was a little awkward, but...she had to make sure that he was okay, before she let him go home.
Roxas walked out of the bathroom in a set of sweats and a t-shirt. Sora obviously knew he wouldn't be feeling well this morning, and he didn't, physically or emotionally. He stopped at the end of the hallway, where it opened into the living room and kitchen space. He saw that Namine made him breakfast, which he hardly expected. Why was she doing this?

Namine lifted a fork and started playing with her food, not sensing Roxas in the room. What was she supposed to do? Just kick him out? Treat him like dirt when he was already feeling terrible? She couldn't do that, even if Roxas cheated on her and was drunk last night. There were so many reasons for her to be mad, but she couldn't forget all the reasons she loved him. That was why she cared for him.
"Uh...Namine?" Roxas said, starting forward at a slower pace than usual. He felt...uncomfortable and unsure of himself. This wasn't okay, what he did. He put her in a bad position, and he was going to help her feel better quickly...by leaving.

Namine lowered her fork at the call, turning her head to look at Roxas. "Mm?" she hummed quietly. She hadn't noticed him in the room, and that was a good sign, since she would have noticed by the smell. He didn't smell like beer at all now, thank goodness. And he wasn't stumbling like he was last night. He was completely sober.
"I...um..." Roxas lowered his gaze, not able to look Namine in the eye as he walked a few more steps forward. He kept space between them when he stopped, lifting his hand to rub over the back of his head. "...Thank you, for letting me stay." He felt awful for what he did, and he was sure he would remember some of it once he tried, but he didn't want to. Not right now.

Namine hummed softly again, nodding as well. "You're welcome," she said quietly. She was the only person that he could stay with last night, though she didn't have to take care of him. She made him a promise, too. She said that if he behaved himself last night, she'd listen to him when he was sober. And he was good for the most part, so...she had to keep her promise now. Even if he probably didn't remember it.
Roxas glanced up, but then he lowered his gaze again. "I don't remember much, but I know it was bad," he said softly. "...That's why I need to leave." He couldn't stay here. He was humiliated, and Namine didn't want to see him anyway. He understood.

Namine shook her head a little, looking down at her plate. "You need to eat something before you go, so I know you'll make it home okay," she said quietly. She may have been soft spoken and gentle, but she meant what she said. Roxas wasn't leaving until she knew that he was alright. Or, at least, alright enough to get home and not run off to do something stupid.
Roxas lowered his hand, staring down at the ground for another moment before lifting his head to see the plate left for him. "...No, you already let me stay," he said with a shake of his head. "I'll just grab something on my way home..." If he still had a home. He hoped Sora's dad wouldn't kick him out for what he did.

Namine looked back up, her stern eyes finding Roxas. "Sit down," she said a little more firmly. "I'm not letting you leave until I'm sure you're okay." And besides, she probably should tell him at least a little about last night. Like how everyone covered for him. Sora covered for him at home, Namine took care of him here, and Kairi and Riku walked around picking up whatever beer cans he dropped around town. Nobody else knew about what happened.
Roxas blinked at Namine's firmness, but he gave in. He released a small breath and approached the table, his eyes on the ground as he nearly refused to make eye contact. He sat down in front of the plate available to him, staring at the eggs. He couldn't deny that they looked good, but did he really deserve breakfast?

Namine looked back down at her food once Roxas was sitting down, and she wordlessly picked up her fork and started playing with the eggs again. She would start eating in a minute. Right now, she was just trying to figure out what to tell Roxas. Did he not remember a single thing from last night?
Roxas stared at the eggs, not grabbing the fork yet. There was a reason this silence was awkward, and it was because he did something. "....What'd I say?" he asked softly after a moment. What did he say to Namine to make her uncomfortable?
  • Author
"You said a lot of things," Namine said vaguely, still just moving the food around on her plate. What she said was true, even if it wasn't specific. Roxas couldn't keep his mouth shut last night, though she managed to keep him quiet enough not to disturb anybody else in the building. Thank goodness they made it through the night.
Roxas lifted his hand, grabbing the fork but not eating just yet. "...Did I do anything to make you uncomfortable?" he asked weakly. He hoped he didn't, but knowing him, he probably did. He had never been under the influence before, and since he was just last night, things couldn't have gone well.

Namine shut her eyes for a moment or two, trying to come up with an adequate response. "You being drunk made me uncomfortable," she said quietly, being honest, but vague. Again. How was she supposed to bring up what he wanted to do? They both agreed to wait till marriage, so it bugged her that he brought up that topic, even if he was drunk.
Roxas didn't say anything, staring down at his food. He wasn't really that hungry, especially now. He hurt Namine last night by drowning himself in his sorrows with alcohol. He just wanted to escape the pain... Her ending things really hurt.

Namine opened her eyes, staring down at her food. "Not many people know what happened last night," she said quietly. "Only me, Kairi, Sora, and Riku." She finally started eating her food, hungry even if she didn't feel like eating. She was upset about last night, and the past week or two in general. So many things went wrong concerning her and Roxas. She hated it.
Roxas tensed at the last name. "...I didn't see any black eyes," he said softly. "I guess Riku didn't beat me to a pulp last night." He remembered arguing with him over something, but he couldn't remember completely.

Namine shook her head faintly, swallowing her food. "He didn't get the chance to," she said quietly before she ate more food. Riku had definitely been ticked, but at Sora's request, he stayed fairly calm. Except when Roxas summoned his Keyblade and almost did something terrible. Then he was furious.
"Hmph," Roxas grunted, smiling bitterly. He probably wouldn't be alive if Riku got his hands on him. If anyone disapproved of his behavior more than Namine, it was Riku. Or Kairi. He wasn't sure which.
  • Author
Namine ate in silence, staring down at the plate. You really don't remember why he didn't beat you up, do you? If he did, he wouldn't be smiling right now. Even if it was a bitter smile. As soon as Riku shoved Roxas away, Roxas got sick in the ocean. Maybe because he realized what he almost did. Namine didn't know for sure, but that was what Kairi guessed and told her before.
