Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"What made him so mad at me?" Roxas asked, his sour smile remaining as he played with his eggs. It had to be bad; Riku wasn't irrational. If he made Riku mad, Roxas had to have done something pretty ugly.

Namine no longer ate, just staring down at the plate instead. She didn't respond, mostly because she couldn't voice what happened. Was it even her place to say? Of course it was; she was the one who was caught in the middle of the mayhem. No matter what excuse she tried to come up with, she knew she had a right to tell Roxas anything. But how could she when she knew how terrible it was? Was that really something she wanted him to know?
Roxas looked over at Namine, seeing the expression she wore. His smile vanished at the sight. "...That bad?" he asked softly. What did he do that was so terrible? He didn't hurt anyone, right?
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly, keeping her soft eyes on the plate. "Yeah," she said quietly. "That bad." Roxas was ticked off at Riku, and in his drunken state, he summoned his Keyblade to try and take out that anger. And Namine stood between the two boys without realizing Roxas was already set on charging at Riku. If he didn't step in...It would have been terrible.
Roxas lowered his fork to the plate and leaned back in his chair, staring at the table. "...Do I want to know?" he asked, then closing his eyes. He wasn't sure.
  • Author
"Probably not," Namine responded quietly. "But you still did it, so you'll still suffer the consequences of it. I guess...you should know, for that reason." Riku was going to be slow to forgive Roxas for what he did, and so was Kairi. Sora was more concerned for Roxas than anything else, so even if he was mad, he probably wouldn't be too hard on Roxas. But Namine had to treat him differently because of last night. She didn't like that side of him.
"Just tell me," Roxas said then, hating all this stalling. If it was so bad, he wanted to know. Something that awful couldn't go unknown; it would come back to haunt him later.
  • Author
"...Are you sure you wouldn't rather hear it from Sora?" Namine asked weakly, setting her fork down. But she figured that the answer would be "no". He needed to know, and he needed to know now. Stalling wasn't good, since he had to know exactly what he did last night. Did that mean she had to tell him about the other things too?
"Would it be better if I did?" Roxas asked, keeping his eyes closed as he tried to be patient. He didn't like the fact that he could have possibly done something harming and no one was letting him know. If he had to go to Sora, he would.
  • Author
"It probably wouldn't make a difference," Namine said quietly, also speaking to herself. I have to tell him. "...You were mad at Riku for all the intervening he's done between me and you in the past few days, so you summoned your Keyblade and tried to attack him." But that wasn't the worst part, not even close.
Roxas opened his eyes at that, looking to the person he loved. "...Tried?" he repeated. That meant the hit didn't land, right? If it didn't land, what happened?
  • Author
Namine shut her eyes, realizing that she had to elaborate. But of course she did; she had to tell Roxas the truth. "I was standing between you two," she said quietly. She was standing in the path of Roxas's blade until Riku stepped in front of her and blocked the attack that was intended for him. That was a terrible situation for all of them, but especially her. She was shaken by it, obviously.
Roxas's eyes widened, but then his eyebrows furrowed. "Did I hit you?!" he cried instantly, naturally terrified. Please say no, he begged internally. Please, please say no. If he harmed her...he didn't know what he would do.
  • Author
Namine opened her eyes at Roxas's cry, her head still lowered so her gaze was on her plate. "No," she said, shaking her head. "Riku stepped in." He blocked the hit and then shoved Roxas away. And even if he was furious, he still stood right in front of Namine like a wall. She was glad he kept her hidden from Roxas after that happened, just in case he would have caught a glimpse of her expression and remembered it now. He would have been devastated.
Roxas grunted uneasily, looking away instantly. Oh no, he thought, feeling fear enter him. How could I? How could he have been so careless? "...I...I'm so sorry," he said, shame in his tone. He couldn't believe he did that...and to her. He could have... He could have...
  • Author
Namine hummed weakly, nodding as well. She believed he would be sorry for that, since he never could justify hurting her physically. But apparently it was alright for him to hurt her heart by cheating on her and then getting drunk. She hated seeing him like this, more than anything. If he was going to cheat...she at least wanted him to be happy, with that other girl. She couldn't wish ill upon him.
Roxas turned his head away from Namine, closing his eyes. He couldn't believe he actually did that. Around Namine. He was always careful, always. I'm so stupid! he scolded himself silently. How could he do that? He could have killed her!
  • Author
Namine glanced up at Roxas, her eyes locked onto him even if he wasn't returning her gaze. He was obviously beating himself up over this, not that she was surprised. It was a serious thing, what he almost did. And she wasn't just thinking about what happened on the beach. The bedroom was worse, or at least tied with the beach incident. Both were horrific.
"...Anything else I did wrong?" Roxas asked softly, feeling Namine's gaze on him. He felt that there were countless things he was at fault for yesterday. Whatever they were, he wanted to know.
  • Author
"Of course there were," Namine responded softly, looking back down. "You were drunk, Roxas. Stupidly drunk." She said the last part with bitterness, her eyebrows furrowed as she shook her head. He was such an idiot with how he acted and how he thought. It was scary...
"Hmph," Roxas huffed, opening his eyes to glare at the ground. "Well, you won't have to deal with the 'stupid drunk' any longer." He pushed himself up from the table, not wanting to be around Namine after all he did to her, whatever those things were. Almost killing her was bad enough; he couldn't imagine what could be worse than that.
  • Author
Namine blinked, lifting her eyes to Roxas immediately because of his tone, words, and actions. "Roxas," she scolded, pushing herself up from her seat. "That's not what I said!" She didn't call him a stupid drunk. He only drank one time, so that name wasn't going to define him. She couldn't stand for him to have such a bad reputation, after all the good he did.
"You didn't have to," Roxas said lowly, angry with himself. He looked up at Namine, that self-disappointment and sadness in his eyes. "It's what I was last night. Stupid and drunk." There were no excuses for his behavior. He was sad, so he drank. He drank, so he was stupid. He was stupid, so he hurt the person he loved, emotionally and nearly physically.
  • Author
"Maybe, but that's not who you are, Roxas!" Namine said, surprised at how defensive she was of the boy she loved. "You're not a drunk. So don't think of yourself as one." And don't you dare think about drinking again. Do you know how badly you scared me?!
Roxas looked away at that, staring down at his untouched eggs. "...I should go," he said softly, a frown still on his lips. He didn't need to stay here any longer than he already had. Namine was sick of him, and he didn't blame her. He bugged her and then forced his presence upon her by being drunk. And then he nearly killed her... His hands balled into fists at the last one, that really getting to him.
