Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine blinked at the voices, lowering her hand from her eye when the last tear was wiped. She looked over and saw the two angry people close to the door, and she slowly rose to her feet. "Guys..." she said, not knowing what else to say. She knew they were furious, but it was all because of a misunderstanding. If they'd give Roxas a minute to explain...

"I made it clear that you're going to stay away from Namine, Roxas," Kairi said, setting her keys down on the nearest table. "Riku did the same. If I were you, I'd wisely leave." She could practically feel the tension coming from Riku as he stood where he was. He was probably ready to throw Roxas out if he needed to, and she didn't blame him. She didn't want someone so deceitful to be near her sister.

Roxas blinked at the words, though he did take a small step forward. "Kairi, look...it's not what you think," he tried. "Namine and I made up. Everything's fine!" If they would just give him one second...

"Shut up, Roxas," Riku growled, his hands now in fists. "If that were true, she wouldn't be crying." He hated to see Namine cry. It bothered him way too much. "I'd take Kairi's advice. Get out."

"Riku, Kairi!" Namine scolded. They were being way to harsh, and for no reason. Yes, she was crying, but it wasn't because he upset her. "We were watching a sad movie!" That was what made her cry, not Roxas. He wasn't guilty of trying to break her heart, even if he was guilty of hurting her by drinking. But they were moving on from that.
Kairi looked over at Namine, confused instantly. "What?" she asked softly, her eyes darting from Namine to Roxas, then to the television that was turned off. It didn't look like they were watching any movie to her.

"Roxas is telling the truth," Namine said, faintly shaking her head and looking from Kairi to Riku. "We made up." Both of them made mistakes concerning this fight, but they agreed to move on from it together. And now, Kairi and Riku needed to see their mistakes too. They were all too quick to judge Roxas...Especially her, since she knew him so well.

Riku lifted an eyebrow, his eyes now on Namine. "You're running back into the arms of a two-timing liar?" he asked. He thought Namine was smarter than that.

"Shut up!" Roxas cried, taking another step forward as he got on the defensive. "I didn't cheat!" He would never do something that stupid...though he did drink. That was idiotic.

Namine looked over at Roxas at his outburst, and she took a step closer to him so neither boy would do anything drastic. "It was all a big misunderstanding," she tried to say in Roxas's defense. It all looked terrible, but his story fit. She knew that Kenzie worked at the flower shop, so of course she and Roxas would be close to flowers, especially with the surprise he had been planning.
"How is this a misunderstanding, Namine?" Kairi asked, still confused. What had gotten into her best friend? "We saw him with that girl at dinner, and the flowers... What is there to think about other than what we already know?" Roxas was with another girl more than he was with Namine. That was wrong.

Namine looked to Roxas then, knowing that it was time for him to tell his story. "Tell them what you told me," she encouraged softly. After hearing it and seeing how it fit, they had to believe this was the truth. This wasn't something that Roxas could make up and get away with.
Roxas glanced over at Namine, though he did look back to the two people a few yards away. "...I was planning a surprise for Namine, and Kenzie was helping me out," he began. He saw Riku roll his eyes at the name, and the blond's eyes narrowed. "She works at the flower shop in town. I was going to plant a garden for Namine in the spring, and I needed help." He then looked to Kairi. "You saw us at dinner because that was the only time we could actually talk about what I would need. I paid for the meal out of common courtesy. Nothing happened, and nothing's going to happen. We're just friends."

Namine bit her lip, silently looking from Roxas to Kairi and Riku. The latter still looked pretty suspicious, but she wasn't surprised about that. She loved Riku, but he was being a little overprotective right now. She believed that Roxas was telling the truth about all this. She could hear it in his voice. She was always good at picking out lies, and this wasn't one of them.

Riku looked away, crossing his arms. That story was believable and didn't have any open spots for him to reject it. Roxas's tone was even and steady, which meant he wasn't fibbing. But could he and Kairi really accept that answer? He looked over at the redhead at the thought, silently asking her that question.

Kairi felt Riku's gaze on her and she looked over at him, shrugging slightly. "...It fits, I guess," she said softly. It explained the flowers and the sneaking around, and dinner... She looked over at Namine, taking a few steps toward her sister. "Namine...is this really true?" If Namine believed it, they had to as well. Namine was wise and wouldn't make this kind of mistake.

Namine nodded faintly. "I think it is," she said quietly. She didn't believe that Roxas was fibbing at all. And she was reassured by that by hearing the story two times. Not a single thing changed between the stories, so he either had his story straight or he was just telling it how it was. She believed that it was the latter.
Riku looked over at Namine at her words, though he then looked to the person that she believed. Kairi seemed to trust he was telling the truth, and he could feel her gaze on him. "...Does Sora know about this?" he asked. When he saw Roxas nod, he lowered his arms. "Alright." If Sora and Namine both trusted Roxas, as well as Kairi, there wasn't really anything Riku could do. Roxas had to be telling the truth.

Namine looked looked around at everyone, still biting her lip as she tried to figure out everyone's feelings. Could they all make up and be friends now? She hated tension between everyone, especially since Christmas was quickly approaching. Christmas. She'd have to do something special for Roxas to make up for her mistakes...

Kairi could only stare at Roxas, feeling absolutely awful. All this time she had been hating him and talking badly about him, and he was innocent. "...I'm so sorry, Roxas," she said weakly, then biting her lip. She had just assumed...

Roxas shrugged slightly. "Don't be. I didn't really do a good job of keeping it a secret," he said, speaking of going around with Kenzie. He should have been more discreet, but he went about it the wrong way and made everyone think he was a "two-timing liar", like Riku said.

Namine exhaled a soft breath, relieved that her sister and boyfriend were making up. But what about her big brother now? Would Riku set things right with Roxas? She knew the two of them hated each other a long time ago, but they were friends now. Maybe not right now, but she hoped they would be again soon.

"Next time," Riku started, catching Roxas's attention, "tell someone what you're up to, that way some of us don't feel like beating you up." He smirked slightly in good nature, trying to be lighthearted about the situation now that he saw Roxas was sincere with what he said. He wasn't lying, so what could Riku do? There was no point in hating him when he did nothing wrong...except for getting drunk. Riku was still ticked about that.

Roxas smiled ever so slightly, nodding. "Right," he replied softly. He would make sure to at least let someone in on his plans next time. He didn't want this happening again.

Namine clasped her hands behind her back, smiling faintly now that she saw everyone was on better terms now. She couldn't have been more relieved about that, since friends were a very big deal to her. Now she just wondered how long it would take for things to return to normal. Hopefully not too long.
Roxas looked over at Namine in the silence, feeling like he needed to apologize for a few other things. But...now that Kairi was here with Riku, it was probably best he just left. "Um...I should probably go," he said, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. Relationships may have been mended, but he still wasn't completely comfortable here.

Namine's smile faded away because of concern. Roxas's words just made the air a little awkward, at least in her opinion. "You want someone to walk you home?" she asked softly. She would do it, even if it wasn't really necessary she did. Unless Roxas had more that he wanted to say, of course.
"If you want to come, you can," Roxas said, lowering his arm. He had to get back anyway, since he just came over to talk. Sora's dad had noticed the beer in his liquor cabinet was gone, and he immediately found out Roxas was the one that did it. It was safe to say that Roxas was grounded for a month; he snuck out so he could talk to Namine today, but if he got caught, his grounding would only get worse.

"Okay," Namine said with a small nod, starting forward and going past Riku and Kairi to get to the front door. She slipped on a pair of shoes and then reached for her coat, since it was cooler in December than it was any other month. "Kairi, Riku, there are some cookies in the kitchen if you want any." She knew that Riku would like that, since he was a sucker for cookies whether he admitted it or not.
Roxas followed after Namine, grabbing his jacket off the back of the couch. He heard Kairi chuckle in Riku's direction as the silver-haired teen moved to the kitchen. Roxas knew that Namine could always make more cookies, so he wasn't going to be too upset if they were gone. He slid the sleeves of his jacket over his arms, tugging at the collar as he grabbed the door handle and opened it, waiting for Namine to leave first.

Namine hummed softly in thanks to Roxas, the blonde slipping past him and going out the door. She didn't imagine that she'd be gone for too long, so that was why she didn't say goodbye to Kairi and Riku. She would hopefully be back before the latter went home for the day.
