Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas followed Namine out, shutting the door behind him before he walked down the hallway and left the apartment building with her. A chilly breeze greeted them when they were outside, and he stuck his hands in his pockets as the collar of his jacket covered some of his neck. Would he still be grounded over Christmas? That would be...awful.

Namine folded her arms over her chest because of the cool breeze, in disbelief as to how cold it was. Maybe it would snow again this year. She remembered last winter it snowed...and she had also been extremely sick then, and she couldn't be with everyone in the snow. That was a terrifying experience, and a haunting memory. She hoped to make this year better so she could put the past further behind her.
"...Namine?" Roxas said softly, staring at the ground as they walked. "This may be the last time I see you for a while." Sora's parents were furious with him for drinking the nine beers leftover the other night, and they weren't punishing him lightly.

Namine blinked, looking over at Roxas and leaving her previous thoughts alone. "What? Why?" she asked in surprise. She didn't understand. Why wouldn't he see her, especially since they just made up? She was sure he wouldn't avoid her again after what happened the last time he did, so what was going on now?
"Sora's dad found out about the other night," Roxas said, his tone sad. He turned his head to look at the person he loved, his eyes finding hers. "I'm grounded." He wasn't sure for how long exactly, but it wasn't going to be for less than a week.

Namine shifted her gaze to the ground in front of her, nodding faintly in understanding. "Oh," she said quietly, unsure what else to say. She wouldn't ask how Sora's dad found out, because it may have been a sore subject. She didn't need to know, anyway. "Well...it'll be okay, I guess. Now that we're okay, at least we won't be sulking on our own about everything, right?" she looked over at Roxas, smiling weakly at him.
Roxas smiled a little as well, nodding. "Yeah, but...I still want to be with you," he admitted, his smile dimming. "For the next few weeks I won't be able to see you." That was frustrating, but there was nothing that could be done.

Namine's smile faded away, the blonde nodding in agreement. She wanted to see him too, but what were they supposed to do? "I guess we'll just have to deal," she said softly. That was the only option that they had right now. She didn't want Roxas getting into any more trouble with his parents.
Roxas looked away at that, humming softly in agreement as he continued forward. He wished they didn't have to "deal"; he wanted to be with Namine as much as he could. Maybe...he could sneak out sometimes and come see her, like he did today.

Namine looked back at the ground, arms still folded over her chest as a light, cool breeze came. She wondered if Roxas would be able to text her at all, but she guessed not. Drinking was a big deal, after all, to his parents and to her. She hoped that he never, ever did that again.
"...I'll sneak out if I have to," Roxas said, his eyes resting on the path. "If that means I get to see you, I'll do it." He didn't want to be apart from her...not now. If anything, what he wanted most was to be with Namine.
  • Author
"Just don't get into trouble, okay?" Namine requested softly, looking back over at Roxas. Maybe she could come over to the house with Sora and Kairi sometime, and if Roxas was locked in the house, then he technically wasn't disobeying his parents and leaving. Was this a loophole she just found? She hoped so.
"I'll try not to," Roxas promised with a small nod. He would do his best to stay out of any more trouble for her, for his Namine. He wanted to be with her so much after being apart. It wasn't fair that he was grounded...though it probably was because of his previous actions.

Namine hummed and nodded faintly. That was all she could really ask for. She hoped he wouldn't get grounded for too long, because she just wanted things to return to normal as soon as they could. And she hoped that Christmas would be refreshing for everyone, especially her and Roxas.

Two days later...

Riku walked away from Lightning, putting space between them so they could follow through with their plan. He was going to help her strengthen her synergist ability today, since he took it from her a little while ago. He had to help her, since it was the least he could do.

Lightning grasped her sword, holding it by her side and backing away from Riku. They were on the play island so they could have some privacy, which was good, since this was going to get intense. She had been practicing with Ven a little, so she at least had the ability to use shields again. Now she just needed to strengthen them and redevelop her other abilities. She could do it, with some help.
Riku stopped a good distance away, turning and facing the person he loved. When he saw her position, he put one foot behind him to balance himself, starting to summon his Dark Aura spell. He wasn't going to ask her if she was ready; she was. He could see it on her face.

Light tightened her grasp on her sword, seeing Riku gathering his energy. Don't hold back, she thought. I can handle it. I have to handle it. She was more dependent on that paradigm than she previously thought, so she wanted to get it back quickly so she didn't have to change her battle tactics. She wanted to be as strong as she possibly could be.
Riku wasn't comfortable with this, and he was sure he never would be. Attacking Lightning on purpose made him nervous and uneasy, but this was what she wanted, so he was going to help her get stronger. He thrusted his arm forward, a rough grunt leaving him as he sent a ball of blue energy toward her, planning to do it repeatedly so she could build up her strength.

Lightning's eyes narrowed, locked onto the fireball as she mentally prepared herself to block it. She squeezed her sword hilt and cast a shield before it would hit her, seeing the fireball disappear after a second or two. That was good; now she just had to do this a hundred more times before she was satisfied.
Riku already had another batch of the spell going, and he fired it off as soon as Lightning blocked his last one. Once it left his hand, he started to gather more energy, his eyes staying on Lightning from where he stood near the bridge on the play island. She could do this... He knew she could.

Light grunted when more fireballs hit her shield, the young woman squeezing her eyes shut because of the force behind the spell. ...Was her shield strong enough to take a few more rounds of that? She wasn't sure, but she didn't tell Riku to back off. She had to take the risk for the chance to get stronger.
Riku continued to fire off more spells, a few grunts leaving him occasionally because of the force he put behind the attacks. But...he didn't want to be too rough, even if Lightning insisted on it. He wouldn't argue, and he didn't want to, so he put a good amount of strength behind each one, testing her.

Light managed to block more of Riku's attacks, but she felt herself weaken with each one. She took a small step back when another one hit her shield, and her shield collapsed because of all the strong attacks. She quickly lifted both of her arms in front of her face as they took the fireballs. The attack seared her skin, making her stumble back another step as she gritted her teeth. Ugh! I thought I was stronger than this!
Riku was about to fire off another spell when he saw the shield fall, and he immediately doused the blue fire that surrounded his hands. He stood upright, his eyes narrowing. "Light?" he called. Was she alright?
