Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku looked away from Lightning to the water, seeing how it was rolling roughly. The winter air only made it more chilly, and the sky was nothing but grey. "...It'll get worse," he predicted. The waves were becoming rough, more than they were an hour ago when they got here. There was no doubt in his mind that it would get worse than what it was now.

"Okay, so let's go," Light said softly, sitting up on her knees a little bit as she grasped her sword and slipped it back into its case. She put her hands down and grunted as she pushed herself up, feeling pretty tired from the training. But she wouldn't take a nap; this was the first day in a while she and Riku had together. She wanted to do something with him, something fun.
Riku glanced over at Lightning, nodding at her words. He then flung his Keyblade forward, out toward the water. There was a brief flash before his glider appeared, hovering in the space before him and Lightning. "Shall we?" he asked, looking over at her.

"We shall," Lightning responded with a small smile, motioning for Riku to get on. She was used to sitting behind him by now, unless he requested otherwise. She figured that they would just go back to her temporary home and maybe get warm. She wished she had more clothes...Oh well.
Riku smiled ever so slightly before walking forward. He took a few steps before throwing his leg over his glider, his hands resting on the bars so he could steer. He looked over at Lightning. Once she was behind him, they'd go back to her condo. He wasn't sure what they would do there, but he was fine as long as he was with her.

Light walked over to the bike once Riku was on, the young woman throwing her leg over it before she sat down. She wrapped her arms around Riku and immediately felt the warmth of his body against her torso, making her feel better. The cold wind that came right after that, though, made her fight the urge to shiver. Was it going to snow?
Riku's faint smile only remained, the young man looking at Lightning over his shoulder before facing forward. He lifted his glider off the ground and started across the water, toward the mainland. He knew Lightning lacked a lot of clothing, but he would loan her a sweatshirt of his if he needed to.

Light lowered her head so Riku's hair wasn't whipping in her face, the air more chilly now that they were speeding through it. All of a sudden, she couldn't wait to get home. She'd have to make a warm beverage or something to refresh her, since she wasn't used to such biting temperatures.
Riku got to Lightning's as fast as he could, having bumps on his arms from the chilly air and wind combined. He lowered his glider just in front of the door, that way Lightning could get inside as soon as possible. If he wasn't mistaken, she shivered quite a few times on their way here.

Lightning got off the back of Riku's glider and opened the door, stepping inside and feeling a difference immediately. Not only was the wind gone, but the air was so much warmer inside. She could collapse in relief, but instead, she walked further inside, trusting Riku to follow. Should she make hot chocolate or just grab a blanket?
Riku dismissed his glider once he was off, following Lightning inside and shutting the door behind him. He ran a hand through his hair, glad to feel the warmer temperature inside the condo. He knew that he was chilly, and that Lightning was obviously cold. Should he give her one of his sweatshirts? He had a few in his bag, which he had in her room. He stayed here not too long ago and forgot to take the bag home...

A drink would be good. Need to get rehydrated after fighting anyway. "Riku, you want anything to drink?" Light called on her way to the kitchen. She would make hot chocolate for herself, even if she hadn't had that in a very long time. It was what she was in the mood for right now, not coffee.
"Yeah, sure," Riku said, walking further into the house. It was smaller than Light's old home, but it was cozy. It was just right for her, in his opinion. Not too big, not too small... It was right for one person...and possibly another.

Light nodded faintly and entered the kitchen, getting water so she could heat it and make two cups of hot chocolate. She wasn't paying attention to where Riku was though. She forgot about the bag that was sitting on her bed, waiting for him to take. It was strange to her before that he brought so many sweatshirts when he came over the other night, but she hadn't questioned it at the time, and she wouldn't question it now either, since it wasn't on her mind.
Riku shook his head, pushing the thought away. He couldn't think of that, not right now. It wasn't the right time to go into that much depth...or maybe it was. Whichever, Riku glanced over at the kitchen as he made his way toward the hall, disappearing into it as he started toward Light's bedroom. When he was there, he saw his bag sitting on her bed, the item he needed right inside.

It only took Light a minute to make two cups of hot chocolate, the young woman seeing the two mugs sitting on the counter with the steaming beverage in them. She shivered again, though, since she was so cold. "Riku!" she called. The drinks are ready. Where'd you go?
Riku held the sweatshirt in his hand, walking out of the bedroom at the call. He didn't need one, already dressed in a navy long-sleeved shirt and jeans. Lightning, on the other hand, would. "Hm?" he hummed, walking into the kitchen. What was up?
  • Author
Lightning noticed Riku's appearance, but not the sweatshirt in his hand. "Drinks are ready," she said with a light hand motion, stating the obvious. She hoped Riku liked hot chocolate, since that was what she made for him. If not, then she'd tell him "tough luck" and make him drink it anyway. Teasingly, of course.
Riku lifted an eyebrow, approaching Lightning as he looked to the drinks. "Hot chocolate?" he checked softly. "I doubt that'll be enough to warm you up." Which was why he had the sweatshirt in his hand...and why he was there. He was always available.

"Hmph," Light hummed softly, turning a little and putting a hand on her hip. "Looking for an excuse to cuddle?" she asked with a small smirk. He probably was, knowing him. But she wouldn't mind it, since she really was freezing. She'd probably use a blanket too.
"Maybe," Riku said with a small smile, though he did hold up the item in his hand. "But I think this might do you some good." The sweatshirt would help until it came time for them to cuddle...if that was what she wanted.
  • Author
"Mm," Lightning hummed with a small smile. "It just might." She eyed it before she lifted her hands to her shoulder guard to take that off. It would fit under Riku's large sweatshirt, but it would be more comfortable without it. And her coat, too. And she wouldn't need her gloves to keep her hands warm, since the sleeves were extra long.
Riku's smile widened slightly as he gazed at the person he loved, watching her take off her shoulder armor. He was used to seeing her dressed in this outfit, but...he never really did see her in his own clothes. Now was the time to change that.
  • Author
Light stepped over and set the armor on the table, slipping off her gloves next before her fingers went to her coat buckle. She wasn't worried about taking that off here, since she walked around in just the brown turtleneck before. And she wouldn't be like this for long anyway, since Riku's sweatshirt would cover her. She wondered how big it would be on her...
Riku watched Lightning in silence, admiring her grace and beauty while she kept herself busy. That was the thing--he could hardly keep his eyes off of her sometimes. She usually caught him staring, but she didn't mind that often. He didn't either, since he liked to look at her. She was beautiful, in more ways than one.
