Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning slipped off the coat, setting it on the back of a chair for now. She looked over and caught Riku staring at her, so she started over towards him and gave him a look. But of course, it was just a teasing look, since she was used to him staring now. That was something he did from the very start, and she doubted that would end anytime soon. She wasn't sure that she wanted it to end.
Riku blinked, glancing away and smiling a little more before he lifted the sweatshirt. Lightning could put that on now and hide her revealed stomach from him. He found out not too long ago that the turtleneck was actually a belly-shirt, which surprised him. But then again, the coat Lightning wore always covered her stomach anyway. He couldn't exactly tell.

Light accepted the sweatshirt, nodding as she took it. "Thanks," she said, lifting it over her head so that she could put it on. It went on easy, though it did mess up her hair more than it already was. She tugged at it and straightened it out, seeing that it was pretty long on her. It covered at least half of her skirt, but oh well. The sweatshirt was warmer than her coat, and it was Riku's. She liked it already.
Riku's smile turned into a smirk at the way the sweatshirt fit the love of his life. "A little big," he commented softly. "But it looks pretty good on you." He looked back up at Lightning's face, his expression remaining the same. He was sure she would look good in anything she wore, but it was especially true when she was wearing something of his.

Light smiled softly, seeing that despite Riku's smirk, he really meant what he said. "I like it too," she responded quietly. And she did. She couldn't see how it looked on her too well, since she didn't have a mirror, but maybe she'd sneak a peak at one later. For now... "We better drink, before they get too cold." That would defeat the purpose of hot chocolate.
Riku's smirk slowly faded away, the young man tearing his eyes away from Lightning's face to look at the drinks. He'd forgotten all about them until now. He stepped over, grabbing both mugs and offering one to Light. They were still warm, but not too hot. That was perfectly okay with him. He wasn't big on burning his mouth.

Once Lightning smoothed her hair and took her locks out of the sweatshirt, she accepted the hot chocolate Riku held out for her. After that, she motioned for him to come to the living room with her. It would be nice and cozy in there, and right after they were done with their drinks, maybe they could snuggle to get warm. He was probably okay, but she was still cold all over.
Riku followed Lightning in silence, lifting his mug to his lips and taking a small sip out of it. Just as he suspected, it was good. Then again, hot chocolate wasn't that hard to make.

Lightning carefully sat down on the couch in the living room before starting to drink the hot chocolate. The warmth started spreading over her whole body, which she was thankful for. But she could tell it wouldn't be enough to get her completely warmed up. She should have been smarter and bought clothes she could fight in that would be warm enough to fight in. Hadn't she learned anything from her past travels near Oerba?
Riku sat down beside Lightning, holding the mug with one hand as he lifted the arm closest to his girlfriend and let it sit on the couch behind her. He used to get bored just sitting around, but with Light it was different. He was never bored around her. If anything, he was happier.

Light was surprised at how quickly she finished her beverage, distracted by her thoughts and thirstier than expected. She sighed and set the empty mug on the end table, glancing over at Riku and figuring he was probably done too. That felt good to drink, but now she either needed cuddling or a blanket. Or both.
Riku looked over at Lightning, having finished his hot chocolate a minute or two ago. He automatically smiled, a small chuckle leaving him. He lifted a hand and ran his thumb over the skin just above her top lip, gently wiping away the chocolate she had there.

Light glanced down at the movement, feeling Riku wipe away some liquid. "Guess I was pretty thirsty," she said with a small smirk. She wasn't paying attention to the liquid that missed her lips and tried to give her a small mustache. But she was distracted by the cold, too. She just wanted to get warm.
Riku hummed softly. "Guess so," he said in agreement, slight amusement in his voice as he took his hand back. Lightning clearly wasn't paying attention, but it was still...cute.

Lightning arched a brow at Riku's expression, easily reading him. "Don't give me that look," she said, feigning seriousness. He had been observing her for a minute, hadn't he? Sheesh, why hadn't she noticed? Was she really that distracted? Apparently she was.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, smirking a little more. "Why? Does it make you uncomfortable?" he asked, playing along. He could see the glint in Light's eye that let on she was joking, and he would gladly participate.

Light shivered a little bit before she could help it, her arms automatically folding over her chest. "The only uncomfortable thing here is the cold," she responded softly. Maybe it wasn't cold inside the house, but her skin still was cool, even if they had been inside for a few minutes now.
Riku's smirk slowly faded at that, the young man seeing that there was a blanket right under his arm. He grabbed it and unfolded it, draping it over Lightning in silence. He hoped it would help, since she clearly wasn't used to being so cold. The islands occasionally got this way, so hopefully she would get used to it.

Claire scooted closer to Riku when one of his arms were up, her side pressed against his. And she could tell already that he was a lot warmer than she was, as usual. She wasn't thrown off by heat too easily, but today was the exception. Riku was used to this kind of weather by now, though, so of course he was more comfortable than she was. Guys were always warmer than girls anyway.
Riku wrapped his arm around Lightning, at the same time tucking the blanket around her to make sure she was comfortable and warm. She was still wearing his sweatshirt, but it clearly wasn't enough. He would definitely have to go get her some winter clothes.

Light leaned her head on Riku's shoulder, letting her shoulders relax at his warmth. She closed her eyes for a second before she opened them, glancing towards the window and seeing the wind blow some trees. "It's going to snow, isn't it?" she asked softly. With the weather this cold and the sky so dark, it had to be snow coming on its way.
Riku looked down at Lightning at the question. "Probably," he said softly. He wouldn't be surprised, given the temperature and the wind, and how grey the sky was. At the thought of snow, Riku ran his hand along Lightning's arm, trying to warm her up a little more. Did she even have a coat?

"You know something funny?" Light asked quietly, a small smile tugging at her lips as her gaze stayed on the window. "I never played in the snow before." She ran through it before on her journeys, but that was it. She didn't even play in the snow as a kid, since it didn't snow in Radiant Garden. Another part of my childhood I missed out on. Oh well, too late now.
Riku smiled slightly, his eyes still resting on the woman he loved. "You'll get the chance," he told her softly. "But first, you need clothes." There was no way she would be going out in that short skirt of hers. She would get sick.

Light smirked faintly, amusement present in her expression as she looked to Riku. "Don't you think we're a little old to be playing in the snow?" she commented quietly. She was twenty-two years old, after all. She could hardly imagine herself playing in the snow now, especially since she was serious a lot of the time.
