A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Yeah," Riku answered softly. Anything. Any favor she wanted, she would get. Lightning had him wrapped around her little finger...most of the time. Sometimes he had control over himself.

"Can we sit closer?" Claire requested quietly. "I'm still cold." The blanket was covering her legs, but it wasn't getting her warmed up as quickly as she would have liked. Being closer to Riku would definitely speed things up, and she liked having an excuse to be closer to him anyway. And she was sure that he was the same.

Riku smiled instantly, a weak laugh leaving him. "Of course," he answered softly. Lightning didn't even have to ask for that; being close was something they both had in common when it came to each other. He wouldn't mind that at all.

Lightning hummed quietly, smiling as well. She pulled back her forehead from Riku's and opened her eyes, gazing at him in silence. She'd let him decide how they were going to sit, and if she didn't like it, she'd let him know. But she doubted that would be the case unless Riku suggested something stupid.

Riku released Lightning's hand, pushing himself back so he was sitting against the corner of the couch. He motioned for her to come closer, having just lifted his leg to sit on the couch. She would sit between his legs, her back against his chest. He could surround her with his body heat completely that way.

Again, Light hummed softly, moving to the spot where Riku wanted her to be. The blanket came untucked, but she did manage to keep it over her legs. She leaned back into Riku's chest, arms folded over her stomach in a comfortable position.

Riku wrapped his arms around Lightning, keeping one foot on the floor as the other leg rested on the couch. He leaned down, turning his face a little and kissing Lightning gently on the neck. He pulled back, though he stayed close. It was all he wanted.

Light turned her head when Riku was done the kiss, the side of her head resting against his. "That's better," she said softly, not only referring to the warmth. It was better to be closer to Riku; it always was. She could never turn down an opportunity to be closer to him, nor did she ever want to.

"Mm," Riku hummed in agreement, closing his eyes in relaxation. He loved having the person he cherished so close. Again, he never thought he would ever be in this position, but Lightning accepted him for who he was, including his faults. He was only human.

Light peeked her eyes open, her gaze immediately finding the window. And when she looked there, her eyes widened to their normal size. "..It's snowing," she said quietly. It was actually snowing on a world that was normally so warm and sunny. It was so strange, but she bet it was beautiful out there.

Riku smiled automatically, opening his eyes and looking to the window within his sight. "...I guess it is," he said, seeing the flakes begin to fall. It was just like Lightning predicted. But...she couldn't go out in it just yet. One, there wasn't very much snow, and two, she didn't have the clothes for it. He would have to go buy her some.

"You like snow?" Lightning asked quietly, practically able to hear a smile in Riku's voice. She liked hearing it, though she was surprised. Somebody like Riku getting excited over a little bit of snow? You're still unpredictable in a lot of ways. She liked it that way, though.

"Everything but the ice that comes along with it," Riku commented with the same smile. "But...yeah, I do." It wasn't often that it snowed on an island, but Destiny Islands occasionaly had their fair share of the winter weather.

"You're full of surprises, Riku," Lightning said softly, a small smile on her lips as she gazed at the window. She couldn't believe that he liked the snow so much, but she couldn't wait to see him in it now. It would be pretty adorable, at least in her opinion. She would get to see a more childish side of him.

Riku's smile softened, and he glanced out of the corner of his eye at the person he loved. "You gonna stick around to find out the others?" he asked softly. In other words...would she stay with him for a long time? Possibly...marry him?

"You mean to get you to be less mysterious?" Lightning asked quietly, though she didn't wait for an answer. "I dunno...You're a tough cookie to crack." Of course, she was only joking. She planned on sticking around for a long, long time so that she could know Riku better. She could spend her whole life unraveling him, if he gave her that much time.

Riku squeezed Lightning gently at the words, aware that she was teasing. "Oh, c'mon," he said softly,turning his head a little to look at her. "You can't stay away from me for too long." She loved him and he loved her. That was what kept pulling them back together whenever they drifted apart.

Light hmphed softly, her heart skipping a beat at Riku's squeeze. "No, I can't. You keep dragging me back," she said with a small smirk. But she was glad that he always dragged her back, because she loved Riku. She adored him, and she savored any chance she had to be with him and get to know him. She always would.

"It's easy because you don't put up a fight," Riku said with a small smirk. He was happy about it too; the one time she did fight against him, things had been tough. Really tough. He hoped they never came that close to breaking again.

"Can't argue with that," Light said with a small smirk. "You win again." He won by saying he loved her earlier, and he won again by proving that point to her. She didn't fight back against him pulling her back too often, because he pulled her to where she wanted to be. By his side.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly in agreement, turning his head and lightly placing a kiss on Lightning's hair again. He did win, in the end. He had her. That was more than enough.

"Don't get cocky now," Light said quietly after the kiss. "I'll find a way to beat you someday." Maybe she'd beat him in a snowball fight or something. Probably not, though, considering she never played with snow before and he had. Win or lose...it didn't matter. As long as she and Riku were both happy.

"Looking forward to it already," Riku said in good nature, leaning the side of his head against Lightning's as he held her against him on the couch. He was looking forward to a lot of things in the future--moving out and being on his own, Sora and Kairi's wedding, being with Lightning...hopefully becoming engaged to her and so on. It could only go up from here, right?

"Me too," Lightning responded with a small smile, still gazing out the window as her head was against Riku's. She looked forward to the competition that they had, because it was always good-natured. Neither of them ever got offended about anything that happened during their "game".

Riku looked back out the window within his line of sight, sitting in silence with the person he loved. He kept his arms wrapped around her, but he didn't speak. What was left to say?
