Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas decided that it would be easiest just to pick up Namine now, so he put his weight more on his knees, lowering his hand from the fridge to help lift Namine off the ground. He grunted softly, though it was only because his knees were stiff from being on them for so long. He held Namine so her legs wrapped around his waist, one of his arms supporting her from beneath while the other was still wrapped around her from behind. He started toward her bedroom in silence.

Namine blinked slightly in surprise when Roxas picked her up that way, but she didn't protest it. She kept her arms wrapped around Roxas lightly, her head leaning against his as she let her eyes shut. Thinking about bed now made her realize how tired she was. She was definitely ready to get the rest she needed so that she could function at work tomorrow.
Roxas held Namine securely as he walked, loving to have her in his arms. He didn't care if he got caught one of these times to see her; she was definitely worth it. He turned into her room, approaching her bed and starting to set her down. He would take off his shoes in a second and climb into bed with her, unless she wanted him to go. It didn't matter.

Namine released Roxas once she was sitting down on the bed, the blonde lifting a hand and tucking back her hair. "Will you stay?" she requested softly, looking up at him with soft eyes. She knew that he had to go back to his house so that he didn't get caught, but that didn't change what she wanted. She wanted to be with him a little longer.
Roxas smiled slightly, nodding. "You bet," he said softly, running a hand over Namine's blonde hair. He would definitely stay with her. He loved spending the night with her, since he always got to have her close.

Namine smiled, nodding faintly in happiness. "Thanks," she said softly, gazing at Roxas for a few moments before she moved to lay down in the bed. He didn't have to stay with her, but he chose to anyway. And he chose to love her even when he could have given up a lot of times in the past. She loved and appreciated him so much.
Roxas nodded again, his faint smile remaining as he lifted his arms and started to pull off his shirt. Once that was done, he tossed it to the side of the bed he would be sleeping on, seeing it disappear since it was on the floor. He then started to take off his shoes, preparing to get into bed with the person he loved. The only person he would ever love.

Namine adjusted herself on the bed, laying on her side on the side of the bed opposite Roxas. She looked at him from where she layed, seeing him clearly because of the light that was still on in the room. And she noticed his buff back without really meaning to. Had he gotten stronger lately? She knew he was always strong, but it looked like his body was reflecting that more now that he was older.
Roxas looked down, his back still to Namine as he started taking off his belt. He fell asleep in it once, and it ended up causing him some pain in the morning. He would keep his jeans on, of course; he and Namine weren't at that level of comfort around each other just yet.

Namine glanced away, blushing a little as she rolled over onto her other side. She knew Roxas was only taking off the belt. He wouldn't take off his jeans to crawl into bed with her. If he did...then quite honestly, he was an idiot. He couldn't have forgotten about what nearly happened when he was drunk the other night.
Roxas tossed his belt on the floor on top of his shirt, staring at it for a moment. The only time he and Namine would be that comfortable around each other was their wedding night or over their honeymoon. No matter how much his hormones disagreed, that was what it was going to be.

No...don't think about that now, Namine thought, shutting her eyes and exhaling a soft breath. This was no time to reflect on any of that. She didn't have a reason to, either. It was in the past and it wouldn't happen again. She and Roxas agreed to wait until marriage, if they lasted that long. They couldn't take such a big step in a relationship that was doomed to fail. Not that their relationship was doomed, of course! That wasn't the case at all, and yet...they still took that precaution. Was that part of the problem?
Roxas turned around slightly, looking across his bare shoulder at the woman he loved. He really did love her, and he was so desperate to show her that he tried making love to her while he was drunk. That was such a stupid move on his part; no wonder Namine wanted nothing to do with him after that. Or so he thought.

"...Are you getting into bed?" Namine asked softly after a moment or two, not hearing anything from Roxas. He did just take off his belt, right? He had been standing up long enough to take off more. Ugh, would you shut up already and just trust him? He's not like that... She just wished he wouldn't have gotten drunk and made these thoughts appear in her head. They were haunting her right now, which was unfortunate.
"...Yeah, sorry," Roxas mumbled, lifting a hand to rub the back of his head before he crawled into bed. Before he got under the covers, though, he balanced himself on his hands and knees and kissed Namine lightly on the side of her head. "Goodnight, baby." He then started to lower himself to the bed on his side, getting under the covers. Those thoughts had to go, or he wouldn't be able to sleep at all. Then again, would he even sleep? He did have to leave early anyway...
  • Author
"Goodnight," Namine responded quietly, remaining on her side as Roxas got situated. She could feel him tug up the covers on his side, her body already under the blankets. She had a lot on her mind, and she felt on edge even when she shouldn't have. How long would it take her to fall asleep? Or better yet, how long would it take Roxas to figure out that something was wrong?
Roxas lifted his hands, setting them behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling. He wasn't entirely tired, since he got to sleep in today. He hadn't worked until this afternoon, and now that that was done... Well, he guessed he would be up until he had to leave.
  • Author
Just...pretend to sleep if you have to, Namine thought, exhaling a soft breath through her nose. She and Roxas couldn't talk about this, especially not now that they were both in a bed. No way was she going to feel comfortable enough to discuss things in this type of setting. Or ever. That was why she didn't tell Roxas about it in the first place.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, sensing things were still wrong even if he thought they were doing better. What could it be, though? Was it what he did in his drunken stupor? He knew an apology wouldn't fix that... But, he did wish he could take it back. He hated himself when he was like that.

Namine shifted restlessly, though she was still laying on her side facing away from Roxas. She hoped the restlessness would wear off, or be overpowered by exhaustion. She was tired, after all, so of course she didn't want to stay awake all night and be exhausted at work. And she didn't want to be troubled over this, either. It was in the past.
Roxas closed his eyes at the movement, releasing a soft breath. "...Is there something we need to still talk about?" he asked, his voice a mumble in the quiet room. He could tell something was wrong. By now, Namine was usually right beside him and in his arms. She was facing the other direction and shifting uncomfortably. She wasn't telling him something.

Namine shook her head faintly against the pillow, keeping her eyes shut as her eyebrows furrowed slightly. "No," she said softly. There was nothing that they needed to talk about. She didn't want to discuss it and make Roxas feel guilty for something that he didn't mean to do. She just had to get over it...on her own. Without letting him know that she was bothered by it.
"...Are you lying?" Roxas asked, keeping his eyes closed as his eyebrows pulled together more. For some reason, he didn't believe her. There was too much tension, and too much physical space. It didn't make sense.

Again, Namine shook her head faintly. "No...we don't need to talk about anything," she said softly, accidentally putting a little emphasis on the word "need". They didn't need to talk about this, especially not right now. They could get on just fine if they let that night slip into the past, or so she wanted to believe. It was easier that way.
"If that's the case," Roxas started, remaining still and stiff, "why do I get the feeling that something's bothering you?" He could sense her tension, and that bothered him. If she wouldn't talk about it, how could he help?
