Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

For the third time, Namine shook her head. "...Don't worry about it." That was all that she could think to say. If she contradicted Roxas and said that nothing was bothering her, he would call her out as a liar. That was the last thing that she wanted. She didn't want to fight him, and she didn't want to feel more uncomfortable than she already was. She wanted to forget what he tried to do.
Roxas turned his head and rotated so he was on his side, holding himself up by his arm. "Namine...please talk to me," he softly pleaded. He didn't want her keeping things from him. He just said that if there was anything making her unhappy for her to tell him, that way he could try and fix it. He didn't want to be pushed away again.

Stop shaking your head, Namine thought, finding herself doing it again. "Maybe another day, Roxas," she said softly. "We don't need to right now." That was what she wanted to believe. If she said she was uncomfortable being in the same bed as him after what he implied the other night...she knew it would kill him. And she didn't want that. She wanted him to be happy.
Roxas stared at the back of Namine's head at the words, not liking what they could possibly imply. He frowned then, believing it was him. It had to be. "...Should I go?" he asked softly. He just got into bed and already she wasn't comfortable. He knew Namine well enough to tell that. If he was the reason, he would go.

"N-no," Namine said softly, opening her eyes. She rolled over to face Roxas, seeing how he was looking at her. Her eyes briefly went to his chest before they quickly went up to his face. "I don't want you to go," she said softly. She wanted to be with him, because she loved him, but...She was being haunted by that night. She wanted the memories to go away. That was it.
Roxas looked at Namine's eyes, but then he saw emotions in them that he didn't want to catch. Instead, he looked to her shoulder. "...I feel like I shouldn't be here with you," he admitted softly. In the bed, in the apartment... He felt fine earlier, but something happened in the last few minutes to change that.

"You always belong with me," Namine said softly, trying to reason with both herself and Roxas. They had done this plenty of times before, and she had no reason to freak out now. He was wearing his jeans after all; nothing was going to happen. He loved her too much to stoop that low. That was what she believed deep down inside, but she still felt...nervous.
"Right now, you don't look so sure," Roxas said, gazing at Namine and studying her expression. It was innocent, but full of worry at the same time. How could Namine be uncomfortable with him? Was his affection earlier too much intimacy? Did he say the wrong thing? He just wanted to be with her, but there was too much pressure between them. He didn't feel like he could even get close to her.

"I am sure," Namine said quietly, glancing away when she could tell that Roxas was studying her. "Being with you is what I'll always want. I just..." She started blushing, realizing that she was staring at his chest but not tearing her gaze away. She was being honest, but she was keeping something to herself, too. And that was because her concerns were silly. She shouldn't have felt weird about lying in bed with Roxas; nothing changed between them that should have made things awkward. Ugh, what's wrong with me?
Roxas lifted his eyebrow when he saw Namine's cheeks turn a faint pink. He followed her gaze, glancing down at his chest, though he was only more confused. "What?" he asked, his eyes finding her again. What was wrong?
  • Author
"Nothing," Namine said with a sigh. She didn't want to talk about this and make Roxas uncomfortable too. She appreciated that he was concerned, but this was something she felt she had to deal with on her own. It wasn't Roxas's fault that he was a creep when he was drunk...
Roxas frowned, releasing a sigh of his own as he turned in the bed and sat up, his feet touching the floor. He set his elbows on his knees and leaned forward, rubbing his face with his hands. This wasn't going how he thought it would. It was the opposite, actually.

Namine's eyes followed Roxas, the girl believing that he turned so that he could get up and leave. "You're not going, are you?" she asked weakly. If he was planning to, she didn't mean to upset him that much. She didn't mean to upset him at all. She was just trying to protect him from a burden he didn't need to carry. Was that so bad?
"To be honest, I'm not really comfortable in here," Roxas admitted, lowering his hands and staring at the floor. He didn't know what Namine had on her mind, but it was nagging him. Why couldn't she just say something?
  • Author
Namine bit her lip, pushing herself up more so that she was sitting with her legs folded up beside her. "I'm sorry," she said softly. "I didn't mean to..." I didn't mean to bring this up in my own head. I just...can't forget it. No matter how badly I want to. And I don't want to hurt you because what you did offended me. It wasn't completely your fault, and if I tell you, I know you'll feel more guilty than you should. That was why it was better to keep it from him.
"What, didn't mean to keep secrets?" Roxas asked, glancing over his shoulder before staring at the ground again. "I thought we agreed you would tell me when something was wrong so I could fix it..." Namine wasn't doing that, and they agreed on it ten minutes ago. What was going on?
  • Author
"We agreed I'd tell you when I wasn't happy with you," Namine said, glancing down at one of her hands on the bed. "And I am happy with you, because you're amazing and caring and...everything I could ever want. I...There's nothing wrong with you right now, Roxas." There was something wrong with him when he was drunk. She hoped she never saw that side of him again, ever.
"Right now?" Roxas asked, pushing himself up and running a hand through his hair. Those two words stood out the most to him when Namine spoke. What'd he do that was so bad, other than the obvious?
  • Author
Namine sighed, lifting a hand to her face. Idiot. Why'd you phrase it that way? "I'm just being an idiot right now, okay?" she murmured. He didn't need to get upset when there was no reason for him to be. She didn't want to hold him responsible for his actions when he was drunk, because he was a different person. He didn't have control of himself.
Roxas didn't say anything, his eyes resting on the floor as he kept his back to Namine. He was debating whether to go or not; Namine clearly couldn't relax when he was in the bed with her. But...why?
  • Author
"...Do you...really want to know?" Namine asked softly without changing her position. She could tell that this was going to tick him off, or at least frustrate him. He always did hate being out of the loop, even if he was told he didn't need to know everything. If she told him, how would he react?
Roxas closed his eyes, tensing slightly at the question. "...Yeah," he answered then. Despite his nerves, he did want to know what was wrong. He already knew it was him; it had to be.

Namine moved her hand away from her face, looking down at the ground. "I...I can't stop thinking about what happened the other night...When you were, um...drunk. And how you wanted to show me how much you loved me..." She started blushing furiously, not looking up at Roxas even after she finished explaining. She couldn't stop thinking about how Roxas wanted to be with her, and now it was awkward to be in the same bed as him.
Roxas's hands curled into tight fists at that, a breath leaving him through his nose. I should've known. "...That's why you're so restless?" he checked softly. Namine thought he would try something again? He would never! Not until she was ready!
  • Author
Namine bit down on her lip, believing she heard anger in Roxas's voice. "Yeah," she responded weakly. "B-but I know I have no reason to be so uptight. I know you wouldn't..." He wouldn't do anything if she did want to. But she still couldn't shake her nerves, or the thoughts about seeing Roxas drunk. What if his words and implications had partial truth? What if he did want to be with her like that, right now?
