Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas turned to look at the person he loved, and who obviously had doubts in him. "Namine, look at me," he said, motioning to himself. He then grabbed the top of his pants. "Pants on." He wouldn't take advantage of her like that when he was sober. He wasn't himself when he was drunk, and because of how much that hurt her, he wouldn't do it again. But...this hurt him.

"Roxas, I know that," Namine said in exasperation. "I just...I hated seeing you drunk, okay? And that the thought even crossed your mind...Is that really what you want?" It couldn't all be a lie. She knew that there was at least some partial truth behind what Roxas said. A part of him wanted that, but she didn't know how much.
Roxas lifted a hand to his forehead, closing his eyes for a moment before he lowered his hand and looked to his girlfriend. "Sometimes my hormones get the best of me and I have urges," he admitted. "But I can control myself. If I can't, I leave. I know that's not what you want." He ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I do want that, because I love you, Namine. But...not until you're ready." He wasn't that much of a jerk.

Namine looked down at the bed, her cheeks pink because of what they were talking about. "I wish you would have told me before," she said weakly. "Instead of me piecing things together because of how you acted when you were drunk." If Roxas did want this, then...she wanted to make him happy. That was what she always wanted. But...she wasn't ready to give that to him.
"I didn't want you to be upset," Roxas said with a small shake of his head. "Kind of like you are now. It's not what I wanted you to feel when you found out." Whether that was before their time came or the day of, it wasn't what he wanted. Namine was too precious to him, so innocent. He wanted it to stay that way for as long as possible.

Namine shook her head faintly. "And I didn't want you to be upset now either, which is why I didn't want to tell you," she said softly, not looking at him. She trusted Roxas, hormones and all. She didn't like that he kept this a secret from her and she had to find out the hard way. This wasn't how it was meant to be.
Roxas sighed. "...Are you telling me I'm the only one that has those urges?" he asked, lowering his eyes to the bed. That night, he was drunk and so desperate for her to see that he loved her. Right here, in this room, he nearly forced her into it. The thought made his eyebrows furrow. How could he be so stupid?!

Namine bit down on her lip, feeling her eyes grow moist. "I love you," she said weakly. "And I want to show you all the love that I can. But...I'm scared to...I'm just not ready to..." Namine trailed off with all the sentences she kept trying to form, feeling like an idiot. She didn't have the urge to be that way with Roxas, not now. She didn't have to fight that kind of thing.
Roxas looked at Namine for a long moment, disbelief, shame, and embarrassment in his eyes. But then he looked away, bending down and grabbing his shirt. He threw it over his head, stuffing his arms through the long sleeves before tugging it over his toned stomach. After this conversation...he couldn't stay. He just couldn't do it.

Namine looked up at Roxas with moist eyes, seeing what he was doing. "Wait, Roxas. Don't..." Please don't do this. This is why I didn't want to tell you! He told her to be open and honest so that he could fix things, but now he was about to run away from the problem and leave her. She shouldn't have agreed earlier to tell him this.
Roxas bent down, grabbing his belt and starting to pull it through the loops on his jeans. "It's okay," he said, though it really wasn't. He was an idiot...and he and Namine were on different levels in the relationship. He grabbed both ends of his belt, focusing on that as he avoided Namine's eyes.
  • Author
"No it's not!" Namine cried, fighting to keep the moisture in her eyes. This wasn't okay on any levels. She was making herself and Roxas take a few steps back in their relationship for no reason. Would there even be a relationship after this? She thought they conquered the hard part already, but here they were now. Roxas was so upset he was leaving, and Namine was so upset she was going to cry. This is just great.
Roxas had just hooked his belt when Namine hollered, and he looked up at her with slightly-widened eyes. "...What do you want me to say?" he asked softly, his voice weak with humiliation. "I...I can't..." He couldn't fix this, and he was too embarrassed to be here.

Namine shook her head a little bit, looking down at the bed briefly before she looked back up at Roxas. "I don't know...I just don't want you to run away," she said weakly. But that was obviously what Roxas was planning on doing. Earlier, he said that if she talked to him, he'd try to fix things. But he was breaking that promise already by just walking away from the problem.
"I'm...humiliated, Namine," Roxas said, giving her a look. "How am I supposed to fix this?" He couldn't. He was at one level and Namine was at another... If he was going to fix it somehow, he needed to think about it.
  • Author
Namine shook her head a little, glancing away as a tear dropped from her eye onto the bed. "...I don't know." She didn't know how either of them were supposed to fix this. If only they could take that night back! If only she hadn't made Roxas feel this way...He didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve to feel responsible for what happened when he was drunk.
Roxas lifted his hands to his hair, gripping it as he turned and walked a few paces away from the bed. "Ugh! I'm such an idiot!" he said lowly, scolding himself. He shouldn't have had a drink in the first place...None of this would have happened.
  • Author
Namine lifted her head, seeing Roxas's posture and hearing what he had to say. "Roxas, don't..." she trailed off faintly, pushing herself up off the bed and starting over to him. She didn't know what she'd do, but he couldn't put himself down like this. This was exactly what she didn't want to happen, but here it was. I'm sorry, baby.
Roxas kept his back to Namine, pulling at his blond spikes as he kept his eyes shut, his teeth ground together. Don't what? he thought silently. Don't feel bad? How couldn't he? He was a...a freak.
  • Author
Namine bit her lip, approaching Roxas from behind and acting on instinct. She wrapped her arms around him gently, turning her face so that it was against him. "I'm sorry I brought it up," she said weakly, shaking her head faintly against him. She knew she should have kept this to herself! Even if it hurt her...It hurt her worse to see Roxas this upset.
Roxas lowered his hands from his head, looking down to see Namine's arms around him. He kept the same angry expression, not willing to let her apologize for this. He was the one with a problem. "...You shouldn't be sorry," he told her. "I should. I'm the freak." He was a teenager still, true, so the hormones and urges came only because he was human. But Namine wasn't having anything similar? He really was a freak...
  • Author
Namine shook her head once again. "You're the freak?" she repeated softly. "No...I am. What kind of girl wouldn't want...?" She shut her eyes, feeling two more tears leave her. She was the one who was the oddball, not Roxas. They had been together how many years, and yet they hadn't been together like that yet? And because of her. She was the problem.
Roxas exhaled a soft breath, staring at the wall. "...I understand," he told Namine softly. "You're not ready, I get it. I'll wait." He didn't want her to feel pressured. Making love would be appropriate when they were ready, and that was that.
  • Author
Namine didn't respond to that, only continuing her thoughts. "Is there...something wrong with me? I should want...to..." She shook her head, releasing Roxas and turning away from him. She should have wanted to be with him! She loved him with all her heart, so what was the problem?! He didn't have a problem; he wanted the right thing. She was weird.
Roxas turned when Namine released him, and he shook his head slightly. "You want to wait until marriage," he reminded her. "That's not an uncommon choice. If anything, that's the right decision." But he was too urgent sometimes, his hormones getting the best of him. He wouldn't allow them to control him, though, for Namine. He loved her with all he had. He would wait for her to come to him.
