Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine shook her head again, not comforted by Roxas's words. How was that automatically the right choice? And why did it have to be done after marriage if she loved Roxas so completely? She should have at least desired to be with him at least a little bit. He may have said he was the freak, but now she believed the problem was with her. Not him.
Roxas exhaled a soft breath and looked away, not sure what to say. These days, it was wrong to want that kind of relationship before marriage. He was the one in the wrong here, and because of all he said to Namine, he was making her feel guilty. That was wrong. Completely wrong.

Namine lifted a hand to her face, trying to stay as composed as possible. She thought about walking out of the room and out of the apartment completely to go for a walk. But with her luck, she'd run into somebody. Most likely Kairi, since she should have been home anytime now. If she saw this and thought Roxas made her cry, she'd probably flip. She was still a little on edge after she thought Roxas cheated.
Roxas looked to Namine, lifting a hand and setting it on her shoulder as he stepped in front of her. "Look at me, Namine," he requested softly. He needed her to know something. Something very important.
  • Author
Namine shook her head faintly, keeping her hand to her face. "I shouldn't," she disagreed quietly. "I caused enough trouble for one night." Why did she even have to bring this up?! It was a big deal, but this was her first time seeing Roxas in a few days. This was supposed to be a happy time, but instead, both of them were upset.
"Namine," Roxas said, lifting his hand that wasn't on her shoulder to her hand covering her face. "Stop." He started to pull her hand away from her face, wanting her to see that he wasn't lying with what he wanted to tell her. She was very important to him, and he treasured her. Every part of her, innocence included. If she wasn't ready, he would be waiting for the day she was.

Namine couldn't fight Roxas pulling her hand away from her face, knowing that if it came down to a battle of strength, he'd easily win. She let him pull it away, but she kept her moist eyes pointed down at the ground between them. This was just stupid. She was stupid.
Roxas could see the sorrow on Namine's face, and instead of pushing her further to look at him, he decided this was good enough. "...I love you, Nam. So, so much," he told her gently. "That's why I don't want you to feel pressured. If you're not ready, you're not ready, baby. You want to wait until marriage, and I respect that. It's the right decision to make."
  • Author
"How do you know it's right, though?" Namine asked weakly, a tear dropping from her eye and falling to the ground. "I want you to be happy..." And if he wanted that...Shouldn't she at least consider giving it to him? Relationships were about compromise, but she couldn't budge very easily on this one. It was either a yes or no.
Roxas shook his head instantly, lifting his hands to cup Namine's cheeks. "No, Namine. No," he told her, bending down slightly so he could see her face better. "Don't do that. Don't do it for me, okay?" He couldn't ask her to do that, nor would he ever. That would be too heartless of him. Namine had to decide for herself what she wanted.

Namine shut her eyes, two more tears trailing down her cheeks and hitting Roxas's hands. She didn't know what to say. She knew that he was being sincere; he wouldn't kid around about something like this. It was just so important. She felt the urge to run away from the topic, but she couldn't. Especially since she just said a few minutes ago that she didn't want Roxas running away.
Roxas hated those tears, and he wiped underneath Namine's eyes gently with his thumbs. "I'm sorry for what I did when I was drunk," he told her gently. "I was an idiot. I was a stupid, mindless drunk." He stepped a little closer to Namine, looking down at her. "Please don't be upset. This is my fault."
  • Author
"Maybe a little," Namine said weakly. "But I shouldn't be so worked up over this." Even if Roxas was at fault, she was the one who was holding onto what happened when he was drunk. He wasn't completely himself when he said and did what he did, and yet she took it all to heart! She shouldn't have done that.
"Put that night behind you, and I will too," Roxas said softly, looking at the person he loved with gentle eyes. "Just know that I'm yours whenever you're ready. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you." He didn't want this to come between them. It was a big deal, but he was sure they weren't the only people in all the worlds dealing with it. He didn't even think Sora and Kairi had gotten that far, and they were engaged. It was a normal thought process that Namine was going through. "I'll respect whatever you choose, but it has to be something you are comfortable with, okay?"
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly in silence, that being the only response that she could come up with. ...Okay. She knew that Roxas wouldn't accept any "decision" she came to unless it was one she was genuinely comfortable with. He could read her like a book, after all. He knew her almost as well as she knew herself. And he would know if she was only doing something for his sake.
Roxas didn't smile when Namine agreed, knowing that she was still upset. "Go ahead and get back into bed," he told her softly, starting to take his hands away from her face. He would go home.
  • Author
Namine's lips parted so that she could tell Roxas that she was sorry, and that she didn't mean to chase him away. She opened her eyes and nodded faintly, glancing at Roxas before she moved to do as he said. She sat down on the bed and started to lay down, sniffling.
I'm such an idiot, Roxas scolded himself silently, having heard that sniffle. He approached the opposite side of the bed Namine was on, grabbing one of his shoes and starting to pull it on while remaining on his feet. It was time he went home and left Namine to sleep comfortably, alone.
  • Author
Namine laid down on her back, looking over at Roxas as he prepared to go. "I'm sorry," she said weakly, unable to help herself. He was probably looking forward to staying here for the night, and she was too before. She wished she didn't chase him away by bringing up this topic, but it was too late now. The damage was done.
Roxas shook his head, glancing up at Namine as he tugged his other shoe on. "Don't say that," he told her gently. He appreciated her being honest, even if it was a hard thing to do. They had an open relationship, no matter how ugly things got.
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly, though she silently disagreed. She wouldn't say it, but she would definitely feel sorry. How couldn't she with this situation? It was so awful, even if Roxas accepted that this was how things were. This just proved how incredible he was.
Roxas walked around the bed, still needing to grab the sweatshirt he hid in the corner of Namine's room when he first arrived. He bent down next to her, one hand on the other side of Namine and holding him up as he looked down at her. "I love you, honey," he confessed gently. "Don't think anything different." One conversation wasn't going to change how he felt about her. He would be more cautious with his intimate actions, of course, but it was what she wanted. He would respect that.

"Diddo," Namine said quietly, a smile briefly tugging at her lips. She lifted her hand and briefly touched Roxas's cheek before she lowered her hand to her stomach, her eyes on him as he was above her. She loved him and didn't want him to think otherwise. She tried to make that really clear, since she would hate to lose Roxas now. Or ever.
Roxas smiled slightly before leaning down, lightly giving Namine a kiss goodnight on her lips. Once that was done, he stood upright and walked over to the corner where he had hidden before, grabbing his sweatshirt. He pulled it over his head and put his arms through the sleeves, though he kept the hood over his spiky hair. It was cold outside. He approached the door to Namine's room, setting his hand on the handle as he lifted the other in a weak wave. He smiled, silently promising Namine that they would see each other again. Someday soon.
  • Author
A weak smile tugged at Namine's lips again, the young woman lifting a hand and returning Roxas's weak wave. She could tell what he was silently saying, and she accepted it. She just hoped that by the time the two of them saw each other again, she'd be over this. The two of them needed happiness, not drama.
