Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Like it matters!" Namine said with a laugh, though she did tear off the rest of the wrapping paper to make Roxas happy. She wasn't expecting anything like this for Christmas! She really had gotten into photography thanks to Ben, and she had been saving up to buy her own camera. But Roxas beat her to the punch.
Roxas smiled, watching Namine as he heard Kairi thank Sora for the gift he obviously got her. The girls liked their gifts, if not loved them. That was...great. Really great.

"Roxas...I...I don't know what to say," Namine said, blushing both from excitement and shyness as she loved over at her boyfriend. "Thank you." This was such a great gift! Now she could improve her photography skills and maybe take pictures at Sora and Kairi's wedding! And just at events in general! She was so excited.
"You're welcome," Roxas said with a small nod, his smile softening into one of warmth and love. He was so glad she liked it. He wasn't sure what cameras were the right kind for what Namine wanted to do with photography, but he managed to get the right one. That was good.

Even if Roxas was calm and composed, Namine was too excited to keep it inside. She squealed slightly, the box sitting on the couch beside her as she turned slightly and threw her arms around Roxas. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she said in excitement, beaming. This was a perfect gift. But how could Roxas spend so much on her? This camera must have been expensive.
Roxas's eyes widened, but he did wrap his arms around Namine and chuckle. "You're welcome, Namine," he repeated again, laughter in his voice. This went incredibly well. He knew for sure that this was the best Christmas gift he had given Namine yet.

Namine heard Roxas's laughter, and she blushed a little bit because she may have gotten a little carried away. Still, she couldn't resist giving Roxas a small kiss on the cheek before she started to release him, unaware of the other exchange going on in the room. Now that she had her gift, she had to give Sora and Kairi theirs. And then she'd take Roxas away to someplace private to give him his.
Kairi ran her thumb over Sora's cheek, smiling because of the gift he gave her and what he received in return. She could tell he liked his sweatshirt, which was good. And she loved her gift card; she would make good use out of it. She lowered her hand from her fiance's cheek and looked over at her friends, seeing that they were done exchanging gifts...at least for now. She knew what Namine was going to give Roxas, but that had to wait until later.

Namine looked at Roxas after she released him, smiling gently at him. "I'll give you your gift after this," she promised softly, looking over at Sora and Kairi on the couch. "I have something for you two..." she said, leaning down and pulling a wrapped gift out of her bag. Kairi didn't know about this gift, but Namine knew that both her friends would love it. She had to give it to them sometime, so why not Christmas?
Roxas was slightly confused by what Namine meant by his gift, but he nonetheless accepted it. Instead, he turned his head, looking over at his friends. He could see that Kairi was surprised, though obviously puzzled. She clearly didn't know about this next gift.

Namine smiled at Kairi's bewildered expression, the blonde standing up with the gift and walking over to her two friends. "Who wants to open it?" she asked, holding it out for one of them to take. She noticed Sora motion that Kairi could open it, though he was confused as well. He wasn't connecting the dots, was he? Well, he would start to in a minute.
Kairi glanced over at Sora in time to see him motion for her to take it, and she lifted her hands, taking the box from Namine's grasp. She set it in her lap and carefully started removing the ribbon that was elegantly wrapped around the package. She then started to tear the paper, not knowing what to expect.

Namine bit down on her lip in excitement, knowing what the box contained. Scrap-booking wasn't one of her hobbies, but she did decorate the cover pretty nicely. On the inside, though, it was just a picture album. It was the pictures that she took for Sora and Kairi's engagement photos. She finally finished them by putting them in a nice order and doing some editing with lighting and color shading to make them look better. She had to say...It looked very professional.
Kairi put the paper aside, opening the lid of the square box to see her and Sora's names engraved on the cover. And in the center...a picture of them. Kairi's eyes widened, and she looked up at Namine. "These are...?" she asked, trailing off. Their engagement pictures?!
  • Author
Namine smiled, a small laugh of amusement leaving her lips at Kairi's stunned words and Sora's facial expression, which was changing to show more excitement and glee. "The engagement pictures," Namine finished for her sister. "I just finished them the other day." So she thought they'd make a great Christmas gift.
Kairi's lips spread into a wide smile, the girl excitedly opening the album and seeing some pictures. Already she could tell they were wonderful, her heart growing warm at the sight of her and Sora so...affectionate and happy. These pictures...they foreshadowed their future.

Sora scooted closer to Kairi, his leg against hers as he also looked at the pictures. He couldn't help but smile at them, so absorbed in the first page already that he didn't notice Namine start back over to Roxas. These pictures turned out great! He was so glad he asked Namine to do them.
Kairi's smile softened into one of warmth, her eyes darting over the pictures before she turned to the next page. "Sora...look," she said, pointing to one of them. It was a close-up, where their foreheads were together and both of them had their eyes closed. But...they had the smallest of smiles on, and the waves were rolling in gently behind them. It...was beautiful.

While Sora hummed and nodded faintly in agreement, Namine bent down and picked up her now-light bag. "Your turn," she said softly for her boyfriend, motioning for him to come with her. She was sure that his guitar was up in his room, and they'd be needing that for the gift.
Roxas glanced up at Namine, his curiosity and her motion encouraging him to follow her. He pushed himself up from the couch and followed her out of the living room. He honestly didn't know what to expect.

Namine felt a little shy, partially because they were going to his bedroom and partially because of her very sentimental gift. "Your gift was a little hard to wrap," she explained over her shoulder, starting up the stairs. All that she had for him in her bag was the sheet music that she wrote up. He'd understand the gift just as soon as she sat down and explained it. Or even before that, if he could piece things together on his own.
Roxas lifted an eyebrow slightly. "I'm guessing that's a good thing?" he said, not meaning for it to come out as a question. But...this was definitely interesting. He was ready to see just what Namine had for him.

"The only way that it's bad means that it's not cookies," Namine teased with a smile. Cookies would have been pretty easy to wrap, but she didn't have time to bake because of how hard she worked to get done Roxas's gift. And Sora and Kairi's too, for that matter. She just didn't have the time to throw in some cookies with Roxas's real gift. She was sure he understood.
Roxas smiled, following Namine up the stairs until they reached the top floor. He already guessed that they were going to his room, and thankfully it was decently clean. Only a few things on the floor this time she came over, thank goodness.

Namine entered Roxas's room, seeing that it was pretty clean. "Impressive..." she said, partially serious and partially teasing. Her eyes darted around the room and landed on the item she was looking for, though she was also surprised at its appearance. "Is that a new guitar case?"
