A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Why not?" Kairi asked weakly, opening her eyes to look at him. "Sora, everything that's happened to you is my fault. I don't like seeing you so hurt..." It was hard to even look at him sometimes, because all she saw was sadness.

"Why can't you forgive yourself for that?" Sora asked after a few moments, his voice hushed. "I've already forgiven you..." He wanted to move on, but Kairi was lingering in the guilt. And her keeping her distance was actually hurting him more.

Kairi felt her lip quiver but she kept her eyes on Sora. "How can you forgive someone that's broken your heart?" she challenged. "Someone that's taken one of the most important things in your life away from you?" She didn't see how he could...

Sora felt himself smile weakly as he took a small step closer to Kairi. "Love makes you do crazy things," he said softly. He loved her, and so he wasn't going to give up on her. He would look past her mistakes and love her anyway.

Kairi was stunned into silence at Sora's words, looking up at him with teary blue eyes. He still loved her? But how? She didn't understand... After all the heartache she'd caused him, he was still in love with her.

"I know who you are, Kairi," Sora said softly, lifting a hand and tucking back Kairi's hair automatically as he looked at her. "You're my Light. My reason to exist and fight. You're the sweetest, kindest, best friend somebody could ever hope for."

Kairi heard Sora's words, and she shook her head the smallest bit as she closed her eyes. She lowered her head as well. How could he say these things...after all she'd done?

"If you think I'd ever give up on you because of some mistakes, then you don't know me, Kairi," Sora said then, gazing at Kairi even though she had her eyes shut. She seriously thought he would stop loving her? That was impossible.

"Sora," Kairi said, her voice shaking along with her bottom lip. However, she didn't know what to say. Her mistakes had been awful, life-changing even. And yet his feelings never changed... Maybe she really didn't know him like she thought she did...

Sora kept his eyes on Kairi, not sure whether or not to let her speak. He didn't know what else to say now, so he decided to wait and see what she had to say.

Kairi felt a tear trickle down her cheek as she opened her eyes, seeing Sora's crown necklace right in front of her. "...Nothing's changed for you?" she asked, glancing up at him with watery eyes. It was a little hard to believe that, after what she said to him in their Secret Place, after failing to be there for him when he needed her most.

Sora suddenly felt himself get frustrated, and he could tell now that Kairi didn't have much faith in him. "...You really don't know me at all, do you?" he asked softly, a bit sad. How could she doubt him like this? He made himself perfectly clear: he loved her. Always.

Kairi lowered her gaze then, looking to the side slightly. "Guess not," she admitted weakly. She saw the sadness in his eyes, and it only made her feel worse. Kairi thought she knew Sora so well...after they became so close with sharing the Paopu fruit and dating for so long. Maybe it wasn't enough...

Sora looked down towards the ground, speaking again. "I'd never give up on you," he said softly. Didn't Kairi see how important she was to Sora? Why was she doubting how much he cared?

Kairi wasn't sure how to reply, feeling her heart skip a beat at Sora's words. However, she knew that it was for a good reason. Hearing Sora say that touched her in a way only he could really accomplish, and she knew that it meant a lot to her that he said that.

"...Why did you give up on me?" Sora asked weakly, swallowing after he spoke. He loved Kairi, and he was fighting for her even when they were on bad terms. Why wasn't she doing the same?

Kairi closed her eyes at that, feeling tears erupt. That was what happened, wasn't it? She lost faith in the only person she truly loved. I'm so awful, she thought sadly.

Sora lifted his sad eyes to Kairi, hoping that somehow, her answer would shed some light on things. What could he have done differently? Why didn't she have faith in him, even when he proved to her that he wouldn't leave her for her mistakes?

"I guess..." Kairi started quietly, opening her eyes only to look at the ground, "I don't like that you keep coming back to people that hurt you. Like me... I've hurt you too many times in the past. You've given me too many second chances."

Sora's lips parted slightly in sadness, and he didn't know what to say. Of course he was going to give Kairi second chances; he loved her with all his heart! Why was she doing this to them, pushing him away? Why couldn't she let herself be loved by him?

By Sora's silence, Kairi could already tell what was happening. I'm messing things up again, she thought sadly, not catching that the message was sent through her heart as well. She just didn't understand how she could be so...awful and Sora could be so sweet. She loved him! Why couldn't she just suck it up?

Sora's eyes widened at the message, and he could tell by Kairi's facial expression that she hadn't meant for him to hear that. But he had, and he wasn't happy. "Stop it, Kairi," he said firmly. "Stop being so negative." This wasn't her...

Kairi jumped slightly, startled by Sora's firmness. She then took a small step back, biting her quivering lip. She could only stare at the ground, not knowing what to say.

 

Riku could only watch the scene before him, seeing that Sora was beginning to get aggravated. And about Kairi. He looked to the only girl here and saw that she was a mess... What was going on with her?

Sora saw Kairi take a small step away, and he immediately wished he could take back some of his frustration. "This isn't like you," he said softly, trying to recover. She normally wasn't this negative; she was normally optimistic and happy...

"I'm sorry," Kairi apologized again, keeping her head down. She didn't know what was wrong with her either. She had just been so torn up about this for so long...
