Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Yup," Roxas said, standing beside Namine as he looked at the item. "Sora got it for me. Nice, huh?" He was impressed with it. It may have been a guitar case, but it was one that was actually pretty expensive. And he needed a new one.

"It is," Namine agreed, setting her bag down next to the bed as she started over towards the guitar case. She glanced down at it, stopping by it. Now what? She guessed it was time to tell Roxas what the gift was. "Um..." she started softly, feeling shy now. "...you probably want to sit down for your gift. I wrote a song for us, and I thought you could accompany my singing with guitar?" She started blushing after she spoke the words, which were said slowly in nervousness. Was her gift okay?
Roxas was slightly surprised by the gift, but he did smile. "Yeah, of course," he said softly, though there was enthusiasm in his tone. Namine wrote a song for them? That was awesome! He always knew she had a musical side, and this only proved it. Since she was standing next to the guitar, he motioned for her to go ahead and grab it as he started towards the bed.

Namine nodded faintly, opening the case and taking out the instrument. She held onto it gently but securely as she started over to Roxas, holding out the guitar for him to take once she was standing right by him. She hoped that he really liked this; she worked hard on it.
Roxas grabbed the guitar and took it from Namine's hands, already sitting on the bed. He set it on his lap, one leg under him while his other foot remained on the floor. He looked up at her, smiling softly. This made him love her even more. She really wrote a song...

Namine blushed at the look Roxas was giving her, the young woman bending down and getting the sheet music out of the bag. She sat down next to Roxas and then set it on her lap for both of them to see. She almost knew it by heart, but she was nervous, so it was comforting to have the words available. And Roxas should have been able to catch onto the beat pretty easily; it was all written out neatly.
Roxas leaned over slightly, his head near Namine's as he looked at the sheet music. He nodded his head ever so slightly, finding the main beat in his head that he would have to strum, his eyebrows furrowing as he concentrated. It didn't look too difficult to catch onto, and as long as he'd been playing the guitar, it would be even easier.

"You got it?" Namine asked softly after a few moments, turning her head and seeing Roxas right by her. She could tell he was analyzing the music, which was fine. It wasn't anything too complicated, partially because it had to be easy for Roxas to pick up and partially because she wasn't as talented a musician as he was. Drawing was her forte.
Roxas nodded, leaning back. "Yup. You ready?" He set his hands on the guitar, prepared to start playing the correct notes whenever Namine was ready to start. This was her gift to him, so she would sing. He would play.

"Yup," Namine said, exhaling a breath in anticipation. She wouldn't just jump in with the words anyway, though; she needed to make sure Roxas had the right beat and pace. But she was sure he would; everything was written out on the paper for him to understand. She just hoped he liked this when it was done.
Roxas smiled softly in encouragement before he gazed down at the notes. He glanced over them before, and he just needed to do it a second time; they seemed pretty repetitive. He set his fingers and then began to strum, his eyes darting over the notes as he did so.

Namine heard the beat Roxas strummed, and that was exactly how she practiced it at home on her own guitar. Okay, she thought, preparing herself. It was time to sing the lyrics that meant so much to her, and hopefully to Roxas, too. When he was on the right note, she began to sing. "Walk towards me, I want to hear the heavens singing over you. When you breathe and look at me, I want to be captured by you."
Roxas played the notes, still gazing at the paper. He knew the beat would switch up soon, but he was prepared for it. He heard the words Namine sang in her gentle voice, already finding meaning behind them. He could already tell this song was going to be very personal, and very deep.

Namine jumped into the chorus, hearing the change in the music. Roxas was playing perfectly, not that she was surprised by that. He was extremely talented and he could catch onto any music very quickly. "Gaze into my eyes," she sang, "And let me know you’d fight thousands, for my love. Slip your hand in mine, ask me to dance with you tonight. Just ask me for my love."
Roxas looked up at Namine the moment she started the chorus, ironically gazing at her just as she sang the words. He continued to play the music for her, no longer needing to look at the notes, at least for now.

Namine felt Roxas's gaze on her, and that made her cheeks turn a little pink. But she kept on singing, going through the next verse and then singing the chorus again while keeping her eyes on the words. She was a little too nervous to go without them. "I want to hide what's deep in my eyes. I'm scared to be known by you. But when I turn my head and see you there. I want to be pursued. Gaze into my eyes and let me know you'd fight thousands for my love. Slip your hand in mine, ask me to dance with you tonight. Just ask me for my love."
Roxas looked back down at the notes when he knew the second chorus was about to end. The music was going to switch here. But then he had an idea. Given his musical ear, he knew how to harmonize. He saw where Namine would sing next, and he joined in. "A dream I won't wake from. A story that will never end."

Namine blinked in surprise when Roxas joined her, though she didn't falter. Him joining in gave her more courage than before. "The ground your feet walk on...Let me be there. Let me be there." She took in a breath, prepared to sing the chorus again. That was her favorite part of the song, without a doubt.
Roxas looked over at Namine, continuing to strum the chords. "Gaze into my eyes and let me know you'd fight thousands, for my love," he sang along with her. "Slip your hand in mine. Ask me to dance with you tonight. Just ask me...for my love."

"Gaze into my eyes, let me know you'd fight thousands for my love. Slip your hand in mine, ask me to dance with you tonight. Ask me...for my love..." Namine sang out the last note of the song, her eyes on Roxas's as her part of the song ended. It as all done now.
Roxas found himself smiling as he played the last of the song, strumming the last note and letting it ring out. He looked at Namine with an immense amount of love, and a little surprise. That was...

Namine gazed at Roxas still, though her cheeks turned rosy because of the look in his eyes. She always saw love in his eyes, but his expression now was overflowing with love. She bit down on her lip shyly, glancing at the music in her lap briefly before she looked back to the young man she loved.
Roxas kept his arm on the base of his guitar, but he lifted the other hand to Namine's face, then leaning forward. He pressed his lips against hers in a loving kiss, fighting a smile as his eyes closed. He couldn't believe she went as far as to do that. It was flattering.

Namine shut her eyes when Roxas kissed her, fighting the urge to smile widely. He obviously liked the gift, even if it didn't involve any cookies. She lifted a hand and set it on the back of his spiky head, her fingers weaving between the spikes as she kissed him back. I love you. I always will.
Roxas moved his lips with Namine's for another long minute before he pulled back, his hand lingering on the side of her cheek as he kept his face within close proximity to hers. Opening his eyes, he gazed at her affectionately, smiling. "...I love you," he whispered. He always had, and always would.
