Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine finally smiled, her cheeks still pink because of everything that just happened. "I love you too," she whispered, opening her eyes after she spoke the words. Clearly she loved him, or else she wouldn't have made such a great gift for him. She was so glad that he liked it, not that she had much doubt in the first place about that.
Roxas gazed at Namine, running his thumb lightly over the skin of her cheek. He loved the gift, obviously. He remembered Namine writing songs in the past, but none that meant this much to him.

Namine felt herself start blushing more deeply again, both at the look in Roxas's eyes and because of his affectionate gesture. She shut her eyes to keep herself from feeling any more shy, though she doubted it would work. When was the last time she got so flustered from Roxas's love? It had been a long time. Too long.
Roxas chuckled at Namine's expression, though he was also happy. "You okay?" he asked amongst his soft laughter. He could tell she was shy, and that was okay. She never really did this before, so it was understandable.

"Better than okay," Namine murmured, though she knew Roxas was laughing at her because of her shyness. She withdrew her hand a little and lightly flicked the back of his head before she set her hand on his shoulder. Don't tease me for being shy, goof. You have your moments too.
"Hey," Roxas said, having blinked at the flick. "No need for hostility. You did just give me the best Christmas present ever. Let's keep things a little positive, 'kay?" Of course, he was just teasing her. He knew Namine, and she was flustered. But it was cute.

"Best Christmas present ever, huh?" Namine asked softly with a small smile, her eyes remaining shut. "Whatever happened to the camera you just gave me? Doesn't that count for anything?" That was such a terrific gift, and she couldn't wait to use it. But she would wait so that she could spend time with Roxas. He was more important than any material possession.
Roxas lowered his hand slightly, letting it sit on Namine's neck and lightly in her hair. "It wasn't exactly the most creative thing I've ever done," he admitted with a small glance to the side. He had just been so busy with the meadow beforehand...and then he got grounded. Things just didn't work out where he could come up with something.

"It's still a terrific gift," Namine said honestly, gazing at Roxas now. She would get a lot of use out of the camera. She'd be running around the Islands for the next few days snapping pictures everywhere. With her luck, she'd probably get sick from the cold, but it didn't matter to her. It would be worth it.
Roxas smiled, his eyes landing on Namine's again. "Glad you like it," he said, slowly leaning back. His guitar was digging into his skin, so it wasn't the best feeling in the world. Regardless, he knew he and Namine couldn't stay up here forever. Sora and Kairi were still downstairs...

"And I'm glad you like yours," Namine said, releasing Roxas's shoulder and leaning away a little bit so she was sitting more naturally. "At least, I think you like it. You did call it the best Christmas gift ever, after all." She doubted that was really the case, but that was beside the point. If it meant enough to him for him to say that, then she was happy.
"Love it, actually," Roxas said with a cheesy grin. He then pushed himself up from the bed and brought his guitar with him, needing to put it back in its new case.

"Glad to hear it," Namine said with a smile. She heard a "woo-hoo" from downstairs, and she immediately started laughing. "I think Sora loves his new video game more, though." He was probably playing it now, with Kairi's permission. He was so goofy, but she loved her best friend very much.
Roxas glanced over at the door, shaking his head before latching his guitar case and setting it against the wall. "Kairi's gonna kill me," he said, standing up straight. She wasn't going to be happy that Sora was always going to be playing the video game, and she would blame Roxas instantly.
  • Author
"I doubt it," Namine said in disagreement, rising to her feet and winking at Roxas. "It is Christmas, after all. She'll show a little compassion." Maybe she'd just break his arm or something. Of course, Namine was only teasing Roxas, like he had done when she was feeling shy. Kairi wouldn't actually hurt him.
Roxas smiled slightly, nodding. "Let's hope so," he said softly in agreement. Regardless, he motioned for her to come with him downstairs. It was time they spent some time with their friends...and each other.

Namine hummed, starting out of the room to go back downstairs. As she got closer to their destination, she heard the television on. Sora was definitely playing the game, though Namine had to wonder why. Was Kairi curious about what it was? Did she ask him to show her? Or did he spring it on her?

That same day, Riku's house

Riku sat with Lightning in the living room, discussing everything that was going to happen the next few days. For Christmas, he bought her a trip to one of the Islands' log cabins, which were rarely ever used due to the winter season being so short. But since he knew how nice it would be, with just him and the person he loved, he went for it. He told Lightning about it a few days ago, just so she could prepare for it. They would be leaving tonight, once the family festivities were over.

"Can't wait to go," Lightning said, giving Riku a light pat on the knee before she leaned back in her seat. Seriously, it was going to be great. Just the two of them, no distractions, no nothing. They would both put their snowboards to great use, though. Both of them coincidentally got one for each other as their Christmas gifts. That was pretty humorous.
"Good, considering it's already paid for," Riku said with a small smirk, looking at Light as he relaxed on his side of the couch. He invited Lightning over to spend Christmas with him and his family, and he could tell she was flattered by the offer, but ultimately he wanted her to be with him over the holiday. That was one reason why he reserved the cabin, even if his parents weren't exactly comfortable with it. He was nineteen; he could do what he wanted.

"Hmph," Lightning hummed with a small smirk of her own, hearing the doorbell ring then. Little did she know that some of their other friends were hear to wish them a merry Christmas. She and Riku had been here the whole day. This was the first time she really got to know his parents, who were really sweet. But a little strict.

Riku naturally pushed himself up from his seat, heading for the door. He knew his mother was busy cleaning up the kitchen anyway. He reached the door and pulled it open, blinking in surprise at the joint "Merry Christmas!" wishes he got at the same time. The greeting startled him slightly, the young man instinctively taking a step back. Sora...Kairi, Roxas and Namine? What were they doing?

"Riku, you big lug!" Kairi scolded, though with a smile. "It's Christmas! Smile!" She then stepped forward, giving him a hug. She felt his arms wrap around her weakly in return, and she fought the urge to roll her eyes. Why was he so surprised to see them? She released him, stepping back so the others could come inside as well.

Lightning got up at the noise, walking into the entrance hall and seeing Riku and company. She hummed slightly and heard Sora say "Merry Christmas" to her, and she nodded to give the sentiment back to him. She had to admit, this was one of the best Christmases she had in a long time.
Riku stepped aside as the others walked into his house, though he shut the door as soon as Roxas was in; it was too cold to leave it open for long. "You guys definitely don't mind surprising people, do you?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow. He saw Kairi shake her head with a small smile, and he smirked slightly. Typical.

"What, did you think we weren't going to at least stop in? It's Christmas, Riku!" Namine scolded lightly, stepping over and giving her "big brother" a hug. He was a real scrooge sometimes, but he seemed like he was having a good day today. And why wouldn't he, since Lightning was here to celebrate with him?
