Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas smiled slightly, watching Namine hug Riku as he returned the embrace. She always did love this time of year, and they played out in the snow for a while. Riku obviously missed out on that, since he was here with Lightning. He wasn't too surprised by that.

"Yeah, Riku," Sora said, staring at his friend from his spot. "Way to skip out on the snowball fight this afternoon, scrooge." He smirked slightly at his best friend, only taunting him. The snowball fight had been sudden, but he did text his friend to let him know what was up. Obviously he didn't get the message. Or he ignored it.
Riku rolled his eyes, stepping past his friends and wrapping his arm around Lightning's shoulders. "I was a little busy. Family bonding," he said, glancing over at Lightning briefly. His parents really got to know Lightning today, and they got along great. That was definitely a good thing.

"You guys'll have plenty of family bonding the rest of the week," Sora said, rolling his eyes slightly at Riku's gesture with Lightning. "Snow storms only happen every once in a while, man! You should have at least come out for a little while."
Riku took his arm away from Lightning's shoulders. "I will. I'll be outside for a majority of the next few days," he admitted. "Lightning and I are heading up to the mountains." He suddenly felt himself regret saying that when he saw Kairi's eyes light up. Oh boy...

"You mean that cabin in the mountains?" Sora asked, glancing at Kairi and Namine to see their similar expressions before he looked back to his best friend. "That place is sweet! It's got enough room for like..." He turned, counting all of his friends that were in the room. "It'd be perfect for the six of us!" He wanted in.

Riku blinked at the statement, shaking his head slightly. If Sora was implying what he thought he was...this would not work. "Uh, no...I actually think--"

"Dude!" Roxas cried, interrupting Riku as he nudged Sora. "We could totally go snowboarding! That would be sick!" He so wanted to go now. And if Sora said that it would be perfect for all six of them, he was willing to take a small vacation.

"Definitely!" Sora said in excitement, nudging his friend back. "That place is awesome, man. And it's got a huge widescreen TV! We can take that new game!" Whether Roxas wanted to admit it or not, he wanted to play that game too. It was multiplayer, so they could have a great time! And their girls would come, obviously. Why wouldn't they?
Kairi shook her head faintly at Sora's suggestion, hearing Roxas agree as she turned to look at Namine. "I guess that means we'll be baking lots of cookies for them," she said with a small smile. "And dinner. They won't get up from the couch." Oh well. It would still be fun. "Besides, that place has an amazing view. It'll be great for you to use your new camera, Namine."
  • Author
"That's a great idea!" Namine said, getting excited at the thought of using her camera. And even if she didn't do that, she could draw a lot. She looked at Riku, who hadn't said anything for a minute. "Can we come, Riku? Pleaseeee?" She dragged out the last word, pleading for him to say yes. All of them would be together again for a while!
"Um..." Riku lifted a hand to the back of his head, looking over at Lightning. He really only rented it for himself and Lightning, and it was her gift. He would prefer it to be them two. But then again, it was ultimately her choice, considering he did it for her.

"I think it would be wonderful if all of you went together!" Riku's mother said from the doorway, a smile on her lips. She didn't see Lightning about to respond to Riku's inquiring look, so she kept talking. "Riku and Lightning just got snowboards, too. I'm sure they'd be glad to share!" Those kids would have a great time together in the mountains. She just hoped nobody got hurt.

Riku looked over at his mother before he closed his eyes, sighing as he lowered his head. Now his friends had his mom on their side, which meant this battle was over. We just lost.

Kairi smiled, looking at the woman with the silver hair Riku inherited. She set a hand on her fiance's shoulder. "Sora will definitely like that," she said with a small nod. Kairi wasn't big on snowboarding, though she did love sledding. She would leave the sporty stuff to Sora and Roxas.

"You bet," Sora said in agreement to Kairi, smiling. "So, when're we going?" When he heard Riku's mom say tonight, his eyes widened. They all had to get home and back! It was mid-afternoon now, so that only gave them a few hours. That was actually good, since he was really excited already.
Roxas grabbed Namine's hand, already heading for the door. "Got it. See you guys soon!" he called with a small wave. They would be back pretty soon with their stuff packed. They would be up on the mountain for a few days, right? This was going to be fun.

Lightning blinked as everyone left Riku's home as suddenly as they appeared, his mom also going back to the kitchen. What just happened? she was tempted to ask, though she already knew what just occurred. The trip wasn't going to be quiet anymore; the house was going to be full.
Riku ran his hand over his face, letting the silence sink in. He loved his friends and their company, but this was something he planned only for himself and for Lightning. He lifted his head and looked to where his mother went, slightly peeved. Did she think he was too young to go off on his own with her? He visited her multiple times when she lived worlds away, and stayed the night. What was the difference?
  • Author
"...Well then," Lightning said after a few moments, looking over at Riku. She guessed that the two of them had no choice but to accept that the others were going on the trip. If they told them no now, Riku's mom would be upset. So much for alone time. But there was nothing they could do to fix things now.
Riku sighed, turning his head to look at the woman he loved. He shrugged. "Guess we'll have some company for the next few days," he said softly. He was sure there would be times when they got some alone time, but a majority of it would be spent with the others. There was nothing they could do.
  • Author
"Guess so," Lightning said, lifting her hand and rubbing Riku's back lightly since they were so close. She could tell that he was disappointed, and she was feeling a little disappointed too. But she was sure the trip would still be good, since Riku's friends were so extraordinary.
Riku smiled ever so slightly at Lightning's gesture, leaning over and giving her a light kiss on the cheek. When he pulled back, he was a little more serious. "If I know Sora like I think I do, he'll be over here in an hour ready to go," he told her. "We should make sure we're set."

Light smiled weakly, humming as she took her hand away. "Guess I should go get my stuff, then," she said softly. She had it all in the condo she was staying in. All she needed to do was pack a few last minute toiletries. After that, she'd be all set.
"Want a ride?" Riku asked then, not even thinking twice about the offer. Lightning was all set for the winter thanks to their little shopping spree, but he was still willing to give her a lift.

Light shrugged faintly. "If you feel like you can slip away from the family for a little while," she said. If that was the case, she'd love to have a ride. But if Riku's parents wanted to hold onto him a little longer before he left for his trip, then it was fine if he stayed here. She'd have his company for the next few days, even if others were with them.
Riku ran a hand through his short hair and looked to where his mother disappeared. "Honestly...I doubt I can," he admitted. He could sure try, but he wasn't sure it would work. His mom would hardly let him out of her sight these days.
