Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light smiled faintly, leaning up and giving Riku a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later, then," she said softly, taking a small step towards the door. She wouldn't try taking him away from his parents, especially since she'd see him all the time for the past few days.
Riku smiled ever so slightly, lowering his hand to his side as he watched Lightning go. He would be picking her up soon. Gliders would need to be taken to reach the cabin, at least in less time.

Later that night

Lightning pulled her heavy backpack over her shoulder with ease, getting out of the car that Sora's parents let them borrow. It was a tight fit since there were six of them, but it was better than traveling back and forth on gliders to get all their stuff. She shut the car door and saw Sora already at the front door, pulling it open immediately and running inside. And, of course, he immediately opened his mouth, starting to blabber about how awesome the cabin was.

Roxas raced after Sora, entering a second after his brother did. "Dude!" he cried, dropping his bags. "Flatscreen!" He ran forward, using an arm to help haul his body over the back of the couch. He plopped down on a cushion, staring at the huge television that was set on the entertainment system. There was no way they would be leaving this thing for the weekend.

Namine could hear Sora and Roxas's excited voices even while she was still outside, getting her bag out of the trunk. She yanked it out with a grunt, stepping back a few steps because of the force behind the pull. That car was packed full of their stuff, not that she was surprised. Even if they were just here a few days, they needed a lot of stuff. She started dragging her bag inside while the others outside got their own. "No, I got the bags, don't worry," Namine said loudly, sarcastic with the two boys who were on the couch as she struggled to get it further into the house. Which way were the bedrooms...?

Roxas glanced over his shoulder, his awe being interrupted with Namine's voice. "Oh, sorry babe!" he said, pushing himself up from the couch and rushing toward the front door. He totally forgot. Whoops.

"Hey, Sora!" Riku called, carrying his bags as well as one of Kairi's. "You're engaged, you know. You might wanna help your fiance from now on!" He rolled his eyes as Kairi nudged him, silently scolding him. Regardless, he could see that she appreciated his help.

"Coming," Sora said, pushing himself up from the couch and hurrying over towards his best friend and fiance. Yeah...He probably should have helped her with her bags before he ran to the TV. But at least he was here now to help her.

"Nope, I got it," Namine said with a huff, but not because she was mad at Roxas. It was because she just yanked the duffel bag up off its wheels and held it with both hands. Yikes, this was heavy. But she would get it up to her room; she was only kidding about Roxas helping her.

Roxas slowed his steps, in front of Namine for the moment. "...You sure?" he asked. Sure, the bedrooms weren't too far off, but still... He knew Namine had some strength, but she looked like she was struggling.

Kairi glared at Riku before looking to her fiance. "Don't let him get to you, sweetie," she said, stepping forward with a backpack over her shoulder and a small duffel. Riku had the bigger one. "You've got your own bags to carry."

"Yeah," Namine said, though she had to sit down the lower end of the bag again so she wouldn't drop it on her toes. How much did I pack?! she silently scolded herself, looking down at the duffel. She could drag it to her room though; she didn't want Roxas carrying her bag out of guilt. "You can go back to the TV."

"And it looks like Riku's already got yours, so I'll just be on my way," Sora said with a cheesy grin, slipping past Riku and heading to the car so he could get the bags he left out there. Riku could carry Kairi's bag up to her room; he already had it, after all. And Lightning was capable of carrying her own bags. She packed light.

Roxas gave Namine a look. "Nam, don't be silly," he said. He reached forward, grasping the bag and pulling it gently from her grasp. He put the duffel over his shoulder with ease, his hard work in the gym being put to good use.

Riku glared at Sora, but at Kairi's amused smile, he only rolled his eyes. "The rooms are to the right," he said, speaking to everyone. "Pick which one you want." He would help Kairi get her bags to her and Sora's room, and then he would go to the room Lightning picked out.

Namine huffed at Roxas and how he easily picked up the duffel bag, the young woman taking a small step forward and feeling the muscle in that arm. "Show-off," she murmured with an amused smile, shaking her head before she started down the hall. She already had her backpack on her back, so that would go in her room as well. She guessed that she and Roxas would share a bed. Hopefully no awkward conversations would come up this time.
Roxas smiled instantly. "Only for you," he called, then following after Namine through the cabin. He had to admit, it was a nice place. Why hadn't anyone told him about this cabin before?

Light found herself smiling faintly at Roxas and Namine's antics as they disappeared into a room, though she made her smile disappear quickly. She didn't want to spy on them when it was none of her business, nor did she want to admit to everyone she now enjoyed cute moments like that. Riku changed her a lot, just like she changed him. But they were still the same people at the core. She was Lightning and he was Riku. That was how it was mean to be. She easily carried her bag into an empty room, seeing how nice it was. Wow.
Riku set down Kairi's bag on the queen bed in her and Sora's room, and he left her to unpack. He heard her call "thank you" to him, and he smiled before moving to another room. Roxas and Namine had that one covered, so he moved to the third one. He saw the person he loved standing in the middle of the room, looking around. He only smiled, his backpack over his shoulders and his other hand gripping his own duffel.

Lightning hummed faintly to herself before she set the bag down on the ground by the bed. She turned around and sat down on the furniture, seeing Riku enter the room. Somehow she wasn't surprised. He was still very quiet and sneaked up on her from time to time, but she could sense him in the room more often than not.
"What do you think?" Riku asked, setting his bag down by the door. He then started to shrug off his backpack. Lightning had clearly been admiring the room, but wait until she saw the view from the deck. That was something to see.

"It's nicer than expected," Lightning said honestly, lifting her hands and starting to undo her coat. Riku described this place for her a little bit, but his descriptions didn't live up to the actual thing. It was such a cozy cabin...She never stayed in a place like this before. But she never had reason to either; she didn't live in a snowy area. She had yet to play in the snow, too...That would probably change on this trip.
Riku hummed softly, unzipping his coat and setting it on the dresser. "You wouldn't expect this kind of thing on an island, huh?" he asked, stuffing his hands into his jean pockets as he looked to the window. He saw a lot of snow and some pine trees, another rare thing about the islands. It was still nice, though.

"Yeah, definitely not," Lightning said quietly, taking off her coat completely. She stood up from the bed and walked over to the small desk and chair, draping her coat over the latter. She wasn't even the one driving here and she was tired. Riku had driven and she had been riding shotgun while everyone else was stuffed into the back seat. She was sure Sora and Roxas didn't mind the closeness of their girls, though.
Riku looked over at Lightning, trailing her with his eyes. He was glad that she seemed impressed. He had been, when he was little. Every few years he and his family came up here over the holidays. Sora came with a few times, but Kairi was never allowed. The Mayor was strict about her being with him back then.

Light looked over at Riku from her spot by the chair, a few yards separating them since the dresser was on the other side of the room. "What're you looking at?" she asked with an amused smile, setting a hand on her hip as she looked at him. She hoped he came up with a more creative response than "you", because it was obvious he was looking at her. What was he thinking?
Riku smiled crookedly, glancing down before lifting his aqua eyes to Light's pale blue. He couldn't tell her what he was really thinking, since it would be sappy and a little too much for right now--the love of his life and hopefully his future wife. If he said that...things would get awkward. "...Is it necessary that I answer that question?" he asked in return. The answer was clearly obvious, which was why she was looking at him like that.

A small hmph left Light's lips, the young woman shaking her head and approaching the man she loved. "I could never force you into doing anything you don't want to do," she stated, answering his question in a way. He didn't have to tell if he didn't want to; she couldn't force him to do anything. He was too stubborn to do whatever she wanted. But that was good--she didn't love Riku because he was like a puppet. He wasn't a puppet in any way.
Riku's smile grew slightly, and he nodded. Likewise, he thought silently. He would never pressure Lightning into doing something she didn't want to. It would hurt too much to see her that way.

"Besides," Lightning said, turning and heading for the door. "I still have to bring the snowboards in." They were in the car, and they probably shouldn't have been left out all night. They were brand new, so they should have been treated well. She could easily bring in both of them, so that was what she was planning on doing right now.
