Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"You mean your snowboard," Riku said, his hands coming out of his pockets as he quickly caught up to Lightning and left the room right after her. "I can get my own, you know." He gave her a look, his smile faint now. It was weird that they got each other the same present this year, but it just showed that they were alike in yet another way.

"You can, but I just figured I could get both at once instead of dragging you outside again with me," Lightning said with a crooked smile, lightly nudging Riku with her elbow since he was right beside her. The snowboards were big, but not that big. Oh well, though; if Riku wanted to come out and get his own snowboard, then he could.
Riku slowed his pace, stopping at the end of the hall where it opened up into the living room. He positioned himself against the wall. "Alright, if you insist," he said with a smirk, letting Light go on ahead. She was confident, which he loved about her, but if he saw her struggling, he would go help out.

Lightning hmphed, smirking a little and shaking her head without turning back. She considered dragging him out with her now since he offered to get his own board, but she could get it. She guessed they would just keep them in the bedroom. That way, Sora and Roxas wouldn't be able to steal them and take them out when Light and Riku wanted them.
Riku watched Lightning go in silence, his small smile still on his face. He really did love her, and he hoped he expressed that enough. He wanted Lightning to receive all his love, not just a piece of it. She deserved the full extent of his affection.

Lightning went out to the car and grabbed the snowboards, making sure that everything else was removed from the car while she was out there. And everything was already inside, so she shut the car after the snowboards were in her grasp. She held one on each side of her and reentered the house, shutting the door behind her with a small kick before she started back to get deeper into the house.
Riku had waited in his spot, and when he heard the door shut, he opened his eyes to see the person he loved. When he spotted her, he smiled. As strong as ever, he thought silently. She never failed to impress him.

Light rolled her eyes slightly at Riku's expression, the young woman turning the corner by him and starting down the hall. But not before "accidentally" tapping him with one of the boards. Lazy bum, she thought of him, though she knew that wasn't true. He was anything but lazy.
"Hmph," Riku grunted softly, gazing at Lightning over his shoulder before starting to follow her back. He wasn't sure what this vacation had in store for them now that their friends came along for the ride, but he was sure it would be great.

Lightning entered the bedroom, and knowing very well that Riku was following her, she lightly kicked the door shut behind her. She smirked slightly and walked over to one of the emptier parts of the room, starting to lean the snowboards up against the wall. She couldn't say for sure why she shut the door; she just felt like messing with Riku a little bit.
Riku rolled his eyes when the door shut, but he opened it anyway. "Mature of you," he said, shutting it behind him. Once the door was closed, he leaned against it, his eyes on Lightning. She never failed to surprise him; she was pretty unpredictable sometimes.

"Oh, you were behind me?" Lightning said as she straightened out the snowboards, making sure they wouldn't fall down with a loud bang. "Whoops." Of course, she was just kidding; she knew that Riku was behind her from the start. He had gotten into the habit of following her around. Sort of like a lost puppy dog.
Riku shook his head slightly, smiling without thought. He was glad he brought Lightning up to the cabin; she was great company as it was, and somewhere as nice as this, where they didn't have to worry about the pressures of real life... It would be nice.

Lightning finished with the boards, stepping a small foot away as she turned to look at Riku. When he was just smiling at her, she was surprised. "What?" she asked, setting a hand on her hip like she often did. "No smart retorts?" Riku normally had a lot of those, but today, he wasn't unleashing them? Was he that tired from the drive?
"No," Riku said, shaking his head as he gazed at the woman he loved. As much as he loved picking on her, and from good nature of course, he wasn't really feeling it right now. He just...wanted to be with her.

"Wow...I'm shocked," Light said, a crooked smile starting to form on her lips. This was pretty unusual for Riku; normally he was always ready for some playful banter. But if he wasn't in the mood for it, then that was okay. She didn't care if they playfully fought or not; she just planned on being with him.
Riku hummed slightly, his smile growing a little. "I'm not that predictable," he said softly in his own defense. He was just feeling a little more...romantic today. He had those days, and so did Lightning. The situation they were in only acted as encouragement.

"I never said you were," Light stated with the same smile. Riku was hardly predictable, even if she knew him pretty well by now. He always managed to surprise her every now and then, like he was now. She didn't like surprises, but she was okay with most of his. As long as they weren't birthday parties.
Riku shrugged a little, tilting his head ever so slightly as he gazed at the person he loved. And he did love her. Any point in time that he wasn't with her he wished he was, and that was quite a bit; his parents had been insistent on him spending more time with his family. Little did they know that he planned on making Lightning part of his family very soon.

Lightning tilted her head slightly in return, starting over towards Riku as her hand came off her hip. "You're awfully quiet tonight," she stated, her eyes on his as she got closer. He had been fairly quiet on the ride over, not that anybody else would have noticed. Sora and Roxas were good at keeping things fun enough in the back seat that Light and Riku didn't really need to participate.
Riku's smile faded a little, though it was still there. "I've got a few things on my mind," he said, remaining against the door as he saw the love of his life make her way over to him. He wanted her to be his forever--that was one thought. Another, how much he wanted to be with her for the next few days. And yet another, how much he really loved her. He'd never felt so strongly for someone before.

"Anything I should know about?" Lightning asked quietly, stopping right in front of Riku and looking up at him from her slightly shorter height. Her smile faded some because of the question, unsure of what Riku was thinking about. What could be wrong? Things had been going right for everyone lately.
Riku lifted a hand, tucking some of Lightning's hair behind her ear. "I know that look," he told her gently. "And I promise, it's nothing bad." They were good things...incredibly good things.

Light smiled weakly both because of Riku's words and his action. "What, am I predictable now?" she asked quietly. He could read her pretty well now, at least in times like this. She just wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong, though. They were going to have a good few days together as long as she had a say in it.
"No," Riku said softly. "I just know you." And that was definitely a good thing. He loved Light, after all. Knowing who she was as a person and accepting her flaws and imperfections...it was all important. Especially for what he wanted in the future.
