Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I know you are," Sora said softly, looking at the girl he loved. "But...Kairi...saying it isn't fixing anything. You need to let go of this guilt." It was unhealthy for her to feel so much guilt over all of this, even if it was technically her fault.
Kairi nodded in silence, knowing that if she said anything, it probably wouldn't welcome a good response. She was negative lately, and it was her guilt and sadness making her that way. She really did need to stop...

Sora kept his eyes on Kairi, silent now. He really didn't know what else to say. Things were still tense, so obviously this wasn't sorted out yet.
I wish there was something I could tell you, Kairi thought sadly. But I just don't know what... It was incredibly frustrating, dealing with this. Especially when it was between her and Sora. She loved him...so much...

Sora shook his head softly, exhaling a soft breath. This wasn't working; it felt to him like things were worse than when they started. At least he and Kairi had been speaking before, but now it was so tense that he didn't feel comfortable saying anything.

Kairi lifted her gaze, glancing at Sora before she turned her blurry vision toward their best friend. "Riku, could you give us a minute?" she requested softly. She didn't know what exactly was going to be said, but it would probably be personal...

Riku nodded once, glancing over in Sora's direction before he moved around the Paopu tree and started toward the bridge. Once he was there, he hopped off, landing swiftly on his feet on the beach below.

Sora kept his gaze on the ground, ignoring Kairi and Riku's short interaction. It felt like he was back at stage one. Not only was hie missing the Keyblade, but he also lost Kairi again. They weren't even friends now, were they? Things felt so tense...
Kairi sniffled quietly, looking from Riku to the ground. She brought up a hand and wiped at the tear stains on her cheeks; even if she felt like bursting into tears, she had to stop so they could actually get somewhere with this conversation. It hadn't really gone anywhere but downhill.

At this rate, I'll never get the Keyblade back, Sora thought, careful to make sure that Kairi didn't hear that thought. But, they weren't getting anywhere. Things were only getting worse.
Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora after a moment, seeing his expression. "Um...I hope you don't mind that I asked him to leave," she said quietly. Things were too tense to really make her think to speak up.

"Kairi," Sora said with a sigh, lifting a hand to his face. What was happening to them!? Kairi should have known that he didn't care about being alone with her. She should have known him better than this.
Kairi felt her eyes soften in wonder, and also a bit of nervousness at Sora's expression. "What?" she asked quietly. Why did he say her name like that?

"...Why are we doing this?" Sora asked, lowering his hand and looking up at Kairi. "We shouldn't be so...careful around each other." They were best friends, weren't they? He thought they were, before.
Kairi linked her hands behind her back at the question, frowning a little. "I feel like I have to be," she admitted. "I always end up hurting you somehow. I don't want that to happen again..." If she wasn't careful, something bad could happen. Even worse than this right now.

"I don't want you to be careful," Sora said softly. "I want you to be you." They shouldn't have had to act this way. They were closer than that...
Kairi nodded slightly, lowering her gaze from Sora's eyes to his chest. She wanted to be herself too... So was she to listen to her heart instead of her mind? Would that make things better? Or was it her heart telling her to do this, act this way?

Sora looked down towards the ground, trying to think. Talking this way really wasn't sorting things out. Should they walk away from it for now and come back later? Would they come back later if they left it like this?
Kairi didn't really think it was her heart causing this negativity. Negativity was darkness, and her heart was full of light. So that couldn't possibly be it. Her mind... It must have been affected some how. "Sora..." she said quietly, looking back up at him.

Sora looked up at Kairi when she called his name, and his eyes automatically found her face. He waited in silence, his gaze alone saying that he was listening.
"I...don't like being this way," Kairi revealed softly, her eyes on the blue she loved. "And my heart is telling me that it's wrong, but I'm afraid that I've lost my way... I don't know where to go from here." She loved him, she knew that much. She wanted nothing more than to be with him, but she wasn't sure how to get there.

"It seems like we've both lost our way, haven't we?" Sora asked softly, looking down when he finished speaking. Kairi didn't know what to do, and Sora was lost in the sadness of not having his Keyblade. They were both a mess.
Kairi nodded once in agreement. "Unfortunately," she replied quietly. So what were they supposed to do? Was there any way for them to get past this? Sora loved her, that much was true. And she loved him as well. He needed her, just as she needed him...

Sora kept his gaze down, not knowing what to say. Kairi was broken, and so was he. He was trying as hard as he could to help her, but she kept pushing him further and further away. What else could he do?
Kairi tilted her head, looking at Sora even if he wasn't gazing back. "What do you want to do?" she asked after a moment of silence. She just wanted to be back in his arms again, but she already made it clear that she was lost. Running to him so abruptly would just be confusing...wouldn't it?

"I want you to let me love you," Sora said softly, finally looking up at Kairi. "I want you to forgive yourself and be happy again. And I want to make you laugh, even when things aren't alright. But...I guess I can't expect all of that to happen," he confessed quietly. He could hardly smile himself; there was no way that he could make Kairi laugh and smile right now.
