A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku ran his thumb over the skin of Lightning's hand. "You're about to pass out," he told her with a small smile. It was cute, but he didn't like her being tired. A small nap wouldn't hurt.

"Then wake me up," Lightning challenged quietly, able to hear Riku's smile in his voice. She could keep herself awake if she really wanted to as long as there was something to distract her from the tiredness. But Riku's soft behavior was only encouraging her to fall asleep, even if it happened here on the couch. She was comfortable as long as she was near him.

Riku squeezed Lightning's hand, looking down at his over hers. "Any suggestions?" he asked gently. If she had anything in mind, he would do it. Otherwise he would just resort to keeping her busy with kissing. He wouldn't mind that, though.

"None at all," Lightning said softly, shaking her head against the couch. She briefly thought of that video game Sora and Roxas brought, but playing that probably wasn't a good idea. And besides, she wasn't awake enough to get into it right now. Riku probably wasn't either if he was as tired as she was.

"I already used my idea on you, but it wasn't good enough for your tastes," Riku said then, looking up at Lightning's face. "If you want to stay awake, I suggest you come up with something for me to do." He wouldn't tickle her; that was just cruel.

"Guess we're stuck then," Light whispered. "I'm too tired to come up with something." She had yet to play in the snow, but she wouldn't want to go outside and do that now. Not only was it getting darker and colder outside, but her tiredness would also be an issue. All she really wanted to do was curl up by Riku and sleep for a little while.

Riku squeezed Lightning's hand before slowly pulling it away from him. He then pushed himself up from the couch and turned to her. "Let's go," he said softly. They were going to lay down.

"Why bother?" Lightning asked quietly, opening her eyes and looking up at Riku as her hand came back down into her lap. It didn't linger there for long though. She moved to lay down on the couch, her back against the back of the couch as she laid on her side. She would be comfortable here if Riku was too.

Riku smirked, shaking his head. "I've never seen you so lazy," he said. Lightning wasn't even willing to walk to their room down the hall. She really must have been tired.

Lightning shrugged, rolling over onto her stomach so that she was taking up more of the couch. "Okay, if that's how you feel, go to bed." He was acting like he didn't want to be on the couch, so he could go to the bedroom if he wanted. But she knew he wouldn't go anywhere she wasn't.

Riku rolled his eyes. "Like I'm gonna go without you," he said, squatting down in front of Lightning. He gave her a look that expressed his disapproval at the suggestion. The only time he wanted to be in bed was when she was sharing it with him.

Light hummed with a small smirk, turning her face so she spoke into the couch. "Looks like you're stuck here, then," she said in a slightly muffled voice. She wasn't going to walk back to the bedroom when the couch was comfortable enough. Besides, she doubted they would be interrupted.

Riku hummed softly in amusement, a loving smirk on his lips. He lifted a hand and set it on the back of Lightning's head, running his fingers through her long hair. They had the cabin to themselves for a little while, since the others were off doing something else. He guessed they could stay out here for a little while.

Light felt Riku's fingers go through her soft pink locks, the gesture making her feel more tired. She turned her head on the cushion and looked at Riku, her tired eyes on him. He was the only person she would ever let see her in such a state.

Riku let his eyes meet Lightning's, and he only gazed at her. She could sleep if she wanted to; he would wake her up when the others got here for dinner. Until then, she could get some rest.

"Come here, you," Lightning said quietly, rolling over onto her side again so that Riku could lay in front of her on the couch. She could tell that she wasn't the only person who was tired; he was too. They could both get some rest until everyone came home and woke them up, whether that awakening was intentional or accidental.

Riku's lips turned up into a smile, the young man taking his hand back and wordlessly pushing himself up. He did as he was told and lay down on the couch right next to Lightning. His back was to the rest of the room, facing her. He wrapped his arm around Lightning's back to keep her close, even if he was the one at risk of falling off the couch.

Light snuggled closer to Riku without a word, eyes shut as a small smile appeared on her lips. "If you make me fall off the couch..." she trailed off, lightly shaking her head as one of her hands sat against Riku's chest. She'd be a little flustered if that happened, but it would be humorous too.

Riku smiled, his eyes already closed. "We're in this together," he told her, referring to right now and every obstacle that came their way. "If I go down, you're coming with me." Of course, in reality, he would never drag Lightning down with him. She deserved the best.

"Gee, thanks," Lightning said sarcastically while still wearing the same smile. She was thankful that they were together in everything, but falling off the couch didn't have to be something they did together. She hoped they didn't do it at all, since they had the opportunity to get a nice nap right now.

"Welcome," Riku said with a small smile, curling his fingers around the fabric of Lightning's shirt lightly. She could get some sleep now, and so could he. And they would be together the entire time.

Lightning only hummed, feeling Riku's beating heart underneath her hand. She allowed her smile to fade away as she exhaled a soft breath, ready to fall asleep now. Snowboarding was exhausting, but at least she could rest now with Riku right in front of her.

Riku released a small breath through his nose, relaxing as he rested next to the person he loved. He could feel himself starting to doze off after only a minute, and he was sure Lightning was doing the same. He would see her soon, when he woke up next to her.

Lightning fell asleep within a few minutes, Riku's warmth washing away any cold that she felt from the outside weather. She slept dreamlessly, at peace and content as long as she was in the arms of the one person she not only trusted with her life, but with her heart as well.

Early the next morning...

 

Roxas lay on his stomach, his arms stuffed under his pillow as one side of his face rested against the fabric of his pillow case. Some light was coming through the curtains that had been drawn the night before, but he didn't notice them, still out cold. He was on vacation, so he was going to sleep in as late as he wanted, and in the bed he shared with the love of his life.
