Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

If Master Yen Sid was a more lighthearted man, he would have laughed at the absurdity of Aqua's last comment. There was no possible way that Aqua could conquer this Darkness by herself, and it was ridiculous to even think that. But instead of telling her any of this, he remained stone-faced. "No," he said calmly. "I wish for you to go to the Realm and find the cause of the swelling Darkness. Then, report back to me."

Aqua felt her eyes narrow ever so slightly in confusion, but she didn't question Master Yen Sid's judgment. That was all she was supposed to do? She was to seek it out and then return? "...Yes, sir," she said with a small nod. If that was what she was to do, she would do it. She was the only one who could.

Master Yen Sid extended his hand, motioning to the dark purple star shard sitting on the corner of his desk. "This star shard will transport you to the Realm of Darkness and bring you back as well," he said. There would be no other way to get to the Realm of Darkness other than the Realm of Twilight, which was a dangerous place to travel alone. It was dangerous to go to the Realm of Darkness alone as well, but he did not fear for Aqua's safety in this case.

Aqua blinked, taking a few small steps forward to get a closer look at the Star Shard. She gingerly picked it up, holding it in her hands. A Star Shard... "The last time I saw one of these was when the King had one," she said without thought. It had been so long ago.

Master Yen Sid nodded. "There are few in existence. King Mickey and I are the only two who harbor the ones that exist. The power would be incredibly dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands." Many years ago, King Mickey took a shard for his own purposes. He regretted it afterwards because he went against his Master, but that was in the past now. Mickey was Yen Sid's truest, most trusted friend. He always would be.

Aqua didn't object to the Master's words, only remaining silent as she examined the Shard in her hands. It was a deep purple, with bits of black swirling around it; no doubt a fragment of Darkness. It was to take her to that Realm, a place Terra and Ven would highly object to her visiting if they knew of her mission. Terra...he would suffer from the Darkness. And Ven... His Light would make him more vulnerable. It's up to me.

Master Yen Sid remained silent, seeing Aqua examining the star shard. She would leave soon to go to the Realm of Darkness, and he had a feeling that she would return fairly soon. She would surely feel distraught about the evil that was lurking there, but this could not be avoided. It was time to finally face this rising Darkness and defeat it so it never returned.

Aqua took in a breath before lifting her gaze to the Master across the desk. "I'll be back soon," she promised. She wouldn't let him down; he was counting on her. Whatever this Darkness was, she would find out what was creating it. She had to, to save the ones she cared about. Aqua backed a few steps away from the desk, knowing she would need room for her transportation.

Master Yen Sid nodded, though he did think of a piece of advise that Master Aqua needed. "Don't do anything rash," he said. "There is no way you can defeat the Darkness on your own, especially on his turf." She would be decimated, unless she was fortunate enough to not receive the wrath of the one who was lingering in the realm.

A small "tch" left Aqua at the wording, "his turf." Whoever this "he" was, the young woman would take Master Yen Sid's advice to heart. Whatever was waiting for her, she would keep a cool head, as Master Eraqus taught her. Aqua nodded and looked down at the Star Shard in her grasp. She brought it to her chest, picturing the Realm of Darkness as she remembered it so long ago. Her body began to tingle, and the next thing she knew, she was flying.

Master Yen Sid watched Aqua vanish from his sight. He then looked down at his desk, simply staring at the book instead of reading it. Everything was set in motion now, and nothing would stop it. This fight would either be won by the Keybladers of Light or the evil force of the Darkness would destroy their realm. He hoped it was the former, but with this man, things were never certain.

Aqua felt the weight of Darkness settle on her before she was set back on her feet, the Star Shard fading back into its natural form in her hand. She looked down at it before glancing around, recognizing the world around her. It was the Realm of Darkness, and it reeked of evil. The Keyblade Master's nose wrinkled as she started across the cold sand, on the shores of the Realm of Darkness. She hadn't spotted any signs of life here, but after a minute of walking towards the shore, she noticed someone. Perched on the rock and cloaked, his face hidden, Aqua opened her mouth to call out to the man who sat beside her so many years ago. Was it really him?

The man sat in the same place where many sat before him, though he had not necessarily been there a very long time. The time flow in the Realm of Darkness was strange to him, but time flowed nonetheless. It gave him healing and strength. That strength would be put to use as soon as it was the right time. The time would arrive soon, though time was relative. He still sensed that it was nearing his time to leave this realm and return to the place he once lived.

Aqua held onto her mode of transportation in one hand, the other free as she calmly approached the rock. She was yards from it, though the foul stench of the Darkness grew stronger with every step she took towards the stranger. Is it really him? she wondered silently. Her footsteps would give her away soon enough, the sand here also made of pebbles that refused to be taken out with the waves. If she wasn't mistaken, something felt...off. The vibe caused Aqua's footsteps to falt slightly, her feet slowing in their movement.

The man heard the light footsteps and smiled faintly to himself. It was a dark smile. So, this is the pawn he plans on using, he thought to himself. Master Yen Sid sent Aqua to the Realm of Darkness to prevent him from gaining more power than he already had. It was a shame, though, that Master Yen Sid was too late. He was already as powerful as he needed to be to destroy what he once cherished. He would destroy any glimmer of Light that existed and cover the worlds in Darkness. That was his destiny.

"...Hello?" Aqua called, a few yards still separating her and the stranger. She never had gotten his name when she was trapped here. Perhaps she would get it this time? Whoever he was, his presence was unsettling; Aqua suddenly didn't feel safe. But in this Realm, how could she?

"It has been a while, Aqua," the man said without moving, staring out at the ocean waves before him. He remained concealed by his cloak, so he was certain she didn't recognize him yet. But she would soon enough. He could never forget the "Master" who always stood between him and his intended target. She didn't recall him now, but she would in a moment. Then the horror would set in.

Aqua walked a few steps further before stopping, her eyebrows furrowing at the voice. It sounded so familiar... "Who are you?" she asked calmly. "Are you the one I sat with so long ago?" Was this the same man? The cloak was certainly the same, as was the posture and location. But...that man wasn't dangerous, and the Master made it seem like whoever was here was a threat to the worlds.

"No," the man responded calmly, fighting the urge to chuckle darkly at Aqua's ignorance. "There is nothing similar between me and the man who was here before. He was a fool." Ansem the Wise...He once sat in this very spot; he could sense it. If Ansem were actually here when he arrived, he would have done what he could not do before. He would have killed him.

Aqua was alarmed at the Darkness that seeped from the man's voice, doubling the discomfort of the vibe around her. "...Then who are you?" she demanded, her voice holding more firmness than before. She had her right hand ready, prepared to summon her Keyblade. Don't do anything rash, she remembered, taking in a breath as she stared at the cloaked figure.

The man smiled briefly once more, rising to his feet and facing the woman who had aged a few years since he last saw her as his smile faded away. "I am," he started, lifting his hands to lower his hood. He revealed his face to her, yellow eyes as bright as ever on his wrinkled face as he gazed at her. "...who I am," he finished.

An ugly gasp left Aqua's lips as her eyes widened. "Xehanort!" She summoned her Keyblade to her immediately in case she needed to protect herself, though she would only be defending. Fighting him now... it would be pointless and dumb of her; she would die.

A smug look appeared on Xehanort's face, a hmph leaving his lips. "There's no need for that," the Keyblade Master said calmly as his hands remained empty. "I will not fight you. You never were my main target, after all." It was always Terra, or Ventus. That was how it always would be since those two had so much to offer him. Aqua, on the other hand, was worthless.
Aqua's eyes narrowed instantly, her teeth grinding together. Ven...Terra. "You won't have your chance," she hissed lowly. Xehanort wouldn't get anywhere near the man she loved and her brotherly figure. She wouldn't allow it.

"But you don't even know what is in store for them, or your Realm," Xehanort stated with the same smug expression. There was much more in store for the Keybladers than they could see coming. "Nevertheless, you will understand soon enough." He had his "cue". It was time to begin the destruction.
