Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Tch," Aqua tsked in disgust, her expression proving as much. What was in store for her friends, and her Realm? Her grip on Stormfell tightened considerably at the threat, the woman not comfortable with the words. But that was most likely Xehanort's goal, to frighten her. And it was working.

"You may assume that I've been trapped in this Realm since our last battle, but you are incorrect," Xehanort said calmly, flexing his hand by his side. "I was simply waiting for the opportune moment to return. And you have given me the signal that I need. For that, I thank you." His lips turned up in a nearly invisible smile as he summoned a dark portal to his right and walked through it, freely traveling to the Realm of Light.
Aqua grunted instantly, one foot stepping forward as her grip loosened on her weapon. No...she thought miserably. Master Xehanort was back...and her friends were in danger. She had no choice but to return to Master Yen Sid...immediately. Aqua dismissed her Keyblade and lifted the Star Shard to her chest, hugging it as she pictured Master Yen Sid's room in a rush. Her pleas were answered, the woman being transported immediately.

Master Yen Sid sensed two things at once: One was the entrance of Xehanort into the Realm of Light. The other was another Master retuning to his tower. He opened his eyes and saw Aqua standing before him, as he had expected. Surely now she understood what kind of evil she and her friends would be facing. And how dire this situation truly was.

Aqua opened her eyes as soon as she sensed she was back in Master Yen Sid's tower, lowering the Shard from her chest. "...Master Xehanort," she whispered hoarsely, fear in her voice. "...He's back." He had plans up his sleeve, things she couldn't even predict. And everyone was in danger...

"Yes," Master Yen Sid calmly, remaining stoic despite Aqua's apparent fear. "I am aware." He knew all along that Xehanort was the threat in the Realm of Darkness. He knew that he would return to the Realm of Light of his own will. And he also knew that the Master would wreak havoc on every world he could. But he needed Aqua to draw out Xehanort while all the Keyblade wielders were at their prime; they needed to defeat him, immediately.

"...He's going to go after Terra...and Ven," Aqua said, her eyes finding Master Yen Sid's. She set the Star Shard back on the Master's desk, her free hands instantly curling into fists. She couldn't let that happen. None of her friends were going to be hurt, no matter what.

"I highly doubt his objectives are that simple," Master Yen Sid said as he rose from his seat. He realized that he had a lot of explaining to do, and as he did so, Aqua would have to still her fears and take in all that he had to say. She did not fully grasp the situation yet. There was more evil lurking in the Realm of Light than just Xehanort.

Aqua lowered her gaze to the desk, lifting a fist to her chest. Of course Xehanort's plans weren't that simple; they never were. And that was what scared her most. Who all was in danger here? What did Xehanort want this time? Everyone thought he was gone for good.

Master Yen Sid turned to look out the windows, speaking the words that needed to be spoken. "Xehanort died in one sense that day several years ago," he started. "His true self was killed. And yet his Nobody and Heartless remained. So long as they were alive, Xehanort's spirit remained. Perhaps not in this world, but his heart was transferred to the Realm of Darkness, where he regained strength and power he never had before."

Xehanort existed all this time? Aqua thought, closing her eyes in disgust. How hadn't they gotten rid of him beforehand? How could they have even known this would happen? The young woman exhaled a soft breath, waiting for more of the explanation.

"Xehanort is alive because of his two other lingering remnants: his Nobody and Heartless. Both have existed in the Realm of Light since their defeat years ago, because when Xehanort returned, so did they. They were intelligent enough to stay hidden, however, in case Xehanort was defeated. Because they stayed alive and hidden, Xehanort was able to stay in existence." So, Master Yen Sid thought to himself, Xehanort, Xemnas, and Ansem Seeker of Darkness are all now in the same realm and ready to seek their goal.

Aqua opened her eyes, which grew in size. She looked up at the Master, lips parting. "They're all here?" she checked, her fingers digging into her glove from the tightness of her fist. That couldn't be true...but Yen Sid would never lie about such a thing.

Master Yen Sid turned around to face Aqua, hearing the shock in her voice. But there was one more thing he had to address right now. "They are not the only ones who exist in this Realm," he said. "Another boy, whose Darkness could never completely fade. After years of recovering his strength and his form, he has returned. Vanitas."

Aqua reacted without thinking. Her hands lowered, slamming onto the desk. "No!" she cried in horror, eyes wide. Ventus! she thought desperately. Vanitas is...is after him! Aqua stared at the Master with disbelieving eyes, trying hard to find any faults in this explanation but coming up empty.

Master Yen Sid only nodded faintly, not shocked by Aqua's outburst. "This will be the final fight," the Master prophesied. "This time, either Xehanort will succeed in his goals or he will perish. It's everything or nothing." Master Xehanort had no reserves to fall back upon. This time, when he fell, it was permanently over.

Aqua couldn't find her voice, staring at Yen Sid before slowly lowering her gaze to the desk she had her hands on. What was she to do? The others...they would be terrified! Angry...furious even. But she had to tell them; the worlds and their lives were in jeopardy.

"Go," Master Yen Sid said, remaining standing next to his chair as he gazed at the Keyblade Master. "Prepare for the battle. The war is about to begin." Xehanort and his followers would surely seek Kingdom Hearts once more, and they would succeed if nobody stood in their way. Even if some did stand, there was a chance he would be victorious. This time, Master Yen Sid truly did not know the end.

Aqua heard the words and straightened, her hands curling into fists as she bowed her head in respect. "...Yes, sir," she replied softly. "Thank you for summoning me, Master Yen Sid." She lifted her eyes to his, masking the fear in her gaze with fury at the fact that their worst enemies were back again. She nodded to him once before turning, leaving the room. She couldn't stall; she had to warn her friends.

Master Yen Sid watched Aqua leave, and even after she was gone, he remained on his feet. Xehanort will bring his worst, he thought, some sadness appearing in his eyes. I truly wonder if all of you are ready to stand up to this force. He sat down and pondered it some more, praying for the best for the Keybladers who slowly worked their way into his hardened heart.

Kairi sat next to her friends on the beach, her back against her fiance's chest as they told Terra and Ventus about the fun they had up in the mountains. The boys had certainly had a blast, while she and Namine got the chance to relax. It was very peaceful, and Kairi was grateful for the time they all shared.

Sora continued his story to Terra and Ven, though the others were clearly listening in as well. At least Namine was, since she was fighting the giggles. Maybe Lightning was too; he couldn't tell because he was focused on Terra and Ven's expressions. "And then," he said, fighting his own chuckles as he told the story, "Roxas put ice inside Riku's shoes for his snowboard. Only it wasn't Riku's snowboard, it was Light's!" And as soon as she and Riku discovered Roxas's prank, the two of them hunted down Roxas and put him through much worse than what he meant to do to Riku.
Roxas lifted a hand, rubbing the back of his head as he glanced sheepishly at the ground. "Yeah...that wasn't very pretty," he admitted, hearing Riku and Kairi chuckle instantly. He was glad they found it funny, because that had been a painful punishment. Too wrapped up in the storytelling, the blond neglected to notice the last person in their group enter the atmosphere, returning from her trip.

Ven laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "You'll never make that mistake again, huh?" he asked Roxas, though he already knew the answer. Ticking off Lightning was never a smart move. She may have seemed serious a lot of the time, but he could see her smiling faintly now. She knew how to play the game and dish out revenge.

"Never," Roxas admitted, glancing over at the couple who tortured him when he was just pulling a small prank. He caught Riku send him a smirk, which was supposed to be a warning; he clearly wasn't afraid to pull it again.

Aqua soared through the air, lowering her glider toward the ground so she could approach her friends. She spotted them from her place in the sky, soaring over the gentle water as she got closer. They had to know the news, no matter how awful it was.
