Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua stopped walking a second after Terra did, turning to look at him only briefly before the threat set in. Xehanort was here, something Terra's expression confirmed instantly. Aqua's smile had disappeared immediately upon recognizing the warning, her head turning as she searched for him in the forest. She kept her composure for now, trying her hardest to stay calm.

Xehanort knew that the Keybladers sensed his presence, and that was fine with him. It was all a part of the plan. "It's good to see you, Terra," his voice rang out through the woods as he appeared several yards in front of the couple. Immediately, he got a reaction out of Terra. Terra summoned his Keyblade and stepped in front of Aqua, even if they all knew she wasn't a target.
Aqua's eyebrows furrowed instantly, her eyes narrowing. She peered past Terra to glare at the older man a few yards ahead, not summoning her weapon just yet. She didn't ask what he wanted, already knowing. Terra.

While Terra's expression was stern, Xehanort could see past his expression and realize that Terra was fighting his fears. He was afraid now that the Master was back, as he should have been. "I'm sure you realize by now what I want," he said to Terra, ignoring Aqua.

"Yeah," Terra said lowly. And you're not getting it, so get out of my Realm. Was he afraid of Xehanort? Yes, he was. The man nearly ruined his whole life; he possessed him for so long... But he wouldn't get there again. He wouldn't win.

You should know by now that you won't have him, Aqua wanted to say, but it would have just been repitition. Xehanort wouldn't listen in the first place. All the young woman could do was glare at the old man in silence, letting Terra handle this.

"I'm sure you're wondering how I am going to reach my goal this time," Master Xehanort said, speaking as if it were certain he would get what he wanted. Because it was certain. "Instead of wasting time on an explanation, I would prefer to show you." He flexed his hand and summoned his Keyblade, pointing it directly at Terra. Or rather, directly at his heart.
Aqua grunted slightly, and upon seeing Xehanort's Keyblade, she summoned her own. She stepped to the side, out from behind Terra, and decided to protect herself....and him. She wasn't about to let Xehanort take the man she loved away from her.

"On second thought, I'll explain it to you. You at least should comprehend some of this." Xehanort heard Terra grunt in disgust, but that didn't hinder him from elaborating. "As long as Eraqus resides in your heart, I will never be able to conquer it. So, I believe that it is time to have a meeting with my old friend." He would extract Eraqus's heart, then possess Terra when he was at his weakest. That would bring about his victory.
"No!" Aqua cried, taking a step forward instinctively. She glared at Xehanort from where she stood. As much as she loved Eraqus like a father and wanted him alive and well, she couldn't allow this. He was giving Terra even more protection against the Darkness and Xehanort. If he was extracted from Terra's heart, the man she loved would be vulnerable again.

Master Eraqus wouldn't want this, Terra thought with a grunt. He wouldn't want to be alive again at my expense. "Enough, Xehanort!" Terra said from his spot, his tone dark. He wouldn't get his way with this. He wouldn't destroy everything they worked for and take over again!

"No, Terra," Xehanort said instead. "It is not enough, not yet. Not until I have your heart!" He shot off a magic spell from his Keyblade, starting the battle that would make him gain what he once had possession of but lost.

In Twilight Town

Roxas walked with his hands at his sides, eyebrows furrowed as he concentrated. His eyes darted around the familiar territory, a place he once called home before meeting Sora so many years ago. Now he knew that this world was different than the one he really claimed, since his was fake. But the Darkness that lurked here...that was real. Someone had to be here, but Roxas didn't sense a threat just yet.

Ventus walked a few steps away from Sora and Roxas, the former oddly quiet. But then again, so was Ven. All of them were on high alert to the threat. They could run into Xehanort here. Or Xemnas, Or Ansem...Or Vanitas. Ven sensed that it would at least be the latter; his heart could feel Vanitas's tug. He knew Vanitas would want to merge and create the X-blade; that was obvious. But was it even possible, since it was now sealed inside Kingdom Hearts? He didn't want to find out. He wanted to defeat Vanitas before any of that happened.
Roxas walked through Station Heights alongside the others, approaching the incline. However, he recognized the familiar sound of a Dark Corridor opening, causing him to stop in his place. "Wait," he hissed to the others. Someone was here.

Sora stopped walking, trusting Roxas's senses. He was so on edge that he could be startled at anything, but if Roxas was sure enough that he heard something to stop them, then it had to be something. The brunet fought the urge to summon his Keyblade, since he knew they probably wouldn't be attacked right away. Anyone in Xehanort's alliance always took the opportunity to speak to them before initiating a fight.

"Well if it isn't my little look-a-like and my other half." Vanitas appeared at the top of the incline, balanced on the ledge as he looked down at the three below him. He watched as the one he nearly killed on the Island got in a defensive stance, though no weapon was summoned. "Oh, and of course I can't forget about the pathetic Nobody." Vanitas smirked behind his helmet, enjoying this opportunity he had.

Roxas growled slightly, grinding his teeth together. Pathetic or not, you still lost, he wanted to cry. But he knew better. He was just happy Namine was nowhere near this guy, unlike last time.

Ven also got into a defensive stance, just as Sora and Roxas did. He glared up at his dark half with radiant blue eyes that normally showed innocence and naivete. This time, they showed anger. Defiance. "Vanitas," he said lowly. He was the same as he was a few years ago in that suit, though he was surely stronger than he was back then.
Vanitas squatted down, an arm resting on one knee as he examined the person he used to be a part of. "Hello, Ventus," he greeted darkly. He had gotten stronger, even Vanitas could sense that. But it was still no match for the Unversed creator himself; he was much more powerful than he was a few years ago.

Ven grunted, not summoning his Keyblade despite his urge to. "Did you come here so I can finish you off quick?" he called up, curling his right hand into a tighter fist. Vanitas could be defeated here if the three of them worked together. Maybe. if he brought in Unversed, then they would probably have a problem. Vanitas would fight dirty to win.

Vanitas instantly laughed, tilting his head back slightly before staring at the trio behind his mask. "You really think it's going to be that simple?" he asked in disbelief. "Man, you are still naive."

Roxas didn't say anything, though Vanitas's confidence didn't settle his worries. He had faith in himself and his comrades, but Vanitas always had tricks up his sleeve.

"Some things can be that simple," Ventus said with determination. He glanced at Sora and Roxas out of the corner of his eye, wondering if they wanted to take on Vanitas right now. If they could defeat him here and now, then they would have one less enemy to worry about. The three versions of Xehanort were going to be hassle enough.
"Doubtful," Vanitas said, keeping his position. "You three have negative emotions that are only feeding the beings I can create. And with their help, along with the three accomplices of mine, your fight will be far from easy." He saw Roxas blink at the mention of the Unversed, but he wasn't at all effected. "So...try me."
  • Author
"Funny," Ven said, taking a small step forward. "I thought you'd believe you're too good for them." Master Xehanort was just an old man to him, pulling his strings. Why would Vanitas want to side with him in this plot? Why wouldn't he just go about creating the X-blade on his own?
"Hmph." Vanitas smirked behind his helmet, though he slowly allowed it to disappear, that way his expression could be shown to the trio. "Still talking back, are we? I remember when you were too broken to talk back." It had been so easy to get under Ventus's skin in those days, and he doubted it would be any harder this time around; he was already falling into his trap.

That comment got under Ventus's skin, though he knew that was the point of it. His Keyblade appeared in his grasp as he glared up at Vanitas. "I'm not a broken puppet anymore," he said. He had been a pawn in Xehanort's game. He took him in to force him to make the X-blade in the first place, and when that didn't work, he nearly destroyed his heart. But when it didn't kill him, Xehanort tried using him again. But that wouldn't happen again. Enough was enough.

Vanitas laughed as a comrade took his chance to appear, a Dark Corridor summoned a few yards behind the three Keyblade wielders. "You have all been puppets within your lifetimes," Xemnas stated, his hood concealing his face. "Do not act as if it will not happen again."

Roxas whirled around, his eyes widening then narrowing when he recognized that voice. "Xemnas!" he snapped.
