Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Ven glanced over his shoulder briefly at Xemnas, but then he looked back to Vanitas as Sora took a step closer to him and Roxas. He knew better than to let Vanitas out of his sight; he would do something shady. In all honesty, he was glad that Aqua wasn't here. Vanitas got the best of her a long time ago. It had been one of the most horrifying things he ever saw.

Xemnas smirked, removing his hood and flipping his long silver hair out of the cloak. He glanced over all three of the heroes before speaking. "Your silence only proves my words to be true," he declared. "And of course, they are. Sora fell to my Organization's clutches in Castle Oblivion, while his Nobody was my own personal puppet." He heard a grunt leave Roxas at the reminder, but he only continued on. "And Vanitas, your other half was a victim to both your plan and Xehanort's. I believe history will repeat itself rather soon, will it not?"

Vanitas stood up, his gold eyes on Ven's blue from his place atop the ledge. "It sure will," he agreed, a dark smirk resting on his lips. Ventus would fall to him this time, and for good.

"You're wrong," Sora said, glancing from Vanitas to Xemnas from his spot. "We all had our downfalls in the past, but it doesn't govern our futures." He heard Ven grunt in agreement, but he wasn't done there. "But let's go with your logic for a minute. In case you're forgetting, you two fell before. So since it happened in the past, it's going to happen again." They'd be defeated before doing major damage, hopefully. But in the end, they would fall.

"Does your heart tell you that, Sora?" Xemnas asked, lifting an eyebrow. "I believe I forgot what it was like, to have a feeling so sure as the one you might be experiencing. But Roxas..." He caught the blond's eye, directing his attention to him. "You can't possibly believe the same as your Somebody. After all, you have no heart."

"I do too!" Roxas hissed, his hands curling into fists. "You knew I was different from the beginning. So guess what, Xemnas? I do feel the same as them." He jerked his head towards Sora and Ventus. "You won't be around long to torture any of us."

"Grow up, you three," Vanitas ordered, eyes narrowing. "Like I claimed before, it won't be so simple. As you probably suspected, we have a few tricks up our sleeves. Good luck finding them out before we're through with you." He then summoned his Keyblade to his hand, holding it out in front of him. It was time these losers felt his revenge.

"Save your words, Vanitas," Sora spat as he summoned his Keyblade to his grasp. "If you want a fight that badly, then just fight already!" We can take them. We have to. Fleeing was always an option, but they at least had to try defeating one of them while they could. Xehanort and his allies had a habit of always hiding in the shadows and then trapping them. If they fell for a trap this time, it would be devastating.

Vanitas chuckled darkly, bringing his Keyblade to his side. "...As you wish," he lowly declared. He then grunted, jumping and flipping in the air, bringing his Keyblade down in an arc towards his target: Ventus.

Roxas took his chance, summoning two Keyblades and darting towards Xemnas. It was time he dealt his revenge to the man who used him for so long...and used Namine.

Ven was ready for the attack, naturally. He lifted his Keyblade and blocked Vanitas's, grunting at the force of the hit. But while that occurred, Sora sprinted over and swung his Keyblade at Vanitas. They all had suspected Vanitas would do something like that; he was predictable in at least that way.
Vanitas moved his Keyblade swiftly, blocking Sora's attack before he took a swipe at the hero. He heard Xemnas dodge Roxas's attacks nimbly, only aggravating the teen more. Of course, that was the plan. Vanitas would play the heroes' game for a minute or two, then ditch the scene.

In the few minutes of fighting, Sora noticed something: Vanitas and Xemnas weren't trying their hardest. They were dancing around and avoiding hits, taunting them. "Guys, stop," he said to Ven and Roxas, glaring up at Xemnas and Vanitas who jumped back a minute ago. Ven didn't charge, but he did give Sora a strange look. "They're only toying with us."

Vanitas landed lightly on his feet a few yards away from the trio, glancing over at Xemnas with a dark smile. "Well, well, well," he said. "I guess they caught onto us." He turned his attention to Sora, his eyes gleaming. "Nicely done, hero. Glad to see one of you has some smarts."

"I believe this is our cue to be leaving, Vanitas," Xemnas chimed from his spot a few feet away. He lifted his hands and pulled his hood up to conceal his face. "Our time is not finished, Keyblade bearers. We will meet again." He smirked before disappearing into a Dark Corridor, Vanitas backing up into his own only a second after.

Ven lifted a hand slightly in confusion, but he didn't pursue his enemies. What was that all about? Did they just come to taunt and tease them? It wasn't like they really fought back. But did that mean that there was something else going on right now? Maybe this was just a diversion. Nah, he thought to himself, eyes hardening. They just wanted to make us feel afraid. And they did.

In Land of Dragons

Riku walked along the mountain in silence, listening to his and Lightning's feet crunch in the snow. He had been silent since they left, dwelling over the fact that Ansem was back, along with his other forms. The silver-haired teen could feel the Darkness pulling at his heart strings, threatening to break down the barrier he put up so long ago.

Lightning ignored the frigid cold air, arms by her sides as she walked next to Riku. The Land of Dragons wasn't exactly her favorite place just because of the atmosphere, but she'd deal. She listened to her footsteps along with Riku's, trying to find a noise that was out of place. But it was hard since other small noises echoed in the area, like the light snowfall that was occurring.
Riku had to focus, but...he was scared. The last time Ansem was around, he fell to him, though he did defeat the Darkness that haunted him in Castle Oblivion. He thought he was past the fear, but it was still affecting him. Riku closed his eyes and curled his hands into fists, trekking up the mountain beside Lightning. He could sense Darkness both inside him and around him.

Lightning glanced over at Riku and saw that his eyes were shut. That was unlike him. He didn't look like he was focusing on his senses; he looked distracted. She wouldn't tell him to snap out of it though, since she knew he had a bad past with one of Xehanort's remnants. She did too, but she'd keep it together. She sensed Darkness behind them suddenly, which made her stop and spin around. But there was nobody there. She knew her senses didn't lie to her. Someone was there a minute ago.
Riku was focused enough to catch onto Lightning's faulty footing, which caused him to open his eyes and turn around slightly. "...What?" he asked, curious. He hadn't heard anything out of the ordinary, though he didn't really catch much at all. His past was invading his senses.

Lighting shook her head faintly, lifting a hand to motion for Riku to give her a moment. She walked forward and gazed at the footsteps until she stopped at the spot where she thought somebody would be standing. She knelt down, eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the snow. But the only footprints were hers and Riku's. "I guess nothing," she said, though she was still suspicious. And rightfully so.

Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, was slightly impressed that Riku's companion sensed him just a moment ago. But her senses were too dull for her to sense what was about to happen. He appeared in a dark portal directly in front of where she knelt, less than a foot between then as he stared down at her with bright yellow eyes.

"Lightning!" Riku cried instantly, summong his Keyblade to him and darting forward when he saw the man he had grown to hate. He was far too close to her! And knowing Ansem, he would do something ugly.

Lightning pushed off with her feet and did a backflip, taking a step back after that to put a little more distance between her and the man. He only hmphed and gazed at her and Riku, weaponless. She extended out an arm to stop Riku from charging at him, eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the stranger. He wasn't here to hurt them. Or at least, at this moment he wouldn't hurt them.
Riku stopped just before he hit Lightning's arm, his eyes darting to her. "Are you nuts?" he hissed, his gaze locking onto his enemy. He wasn't usually impulsive, but the sight of this man made Riku different...and not in a good way.

Light's eyebrows furrowed a little more, and she turned her head to look at Riku while keeping Ansem in her peripherals. "He could have struck me down if he wanted," she said lowly to him. "If we don't fight right away, maybe we can draw something out about Master Xehanort." That was what she thought, anyway. It was strategically smart. And besides, she didn't want Riku fighting like this; he seemed like he would be reckless.
Riku's jaw flexed, his teeth grinding together in frustration. He wanted nothing more than to attack the person in front of them, but Lightning was right. Regardless, Riku kept his grip tight on his weapon, looking Ansem dead in the eye. "What do you want?" he snapped, voice tight.

"I wanted to say hello, Riku," Ansem said as he folded his arms over his chest. His lips turned up slightly, both at Riku's anxiety and the other woman's headstrong personality. "And I wanted to see this friend that Xehanort told me so much about." He shifted his gaze to her, seeing that she didn't change much with her expression. Not only was she Ven's sister, but she was also Riku's love interest. This should be interesting.
"You've delivered your greeting, so get lost," Riku snapped. He didn't want to see Ansem, nor did he want to hear his voice or feel his presence. The Darkness... It was too familiar, uncomfortable. And Ansem probably knew it.

"Riku," Lightning said lowly to her boyfriend, keeping her arm up. Control yourself. We may not have a chance to draw something out of Ansem again. She figured out by now who he was; Riku was completely different around him. She shifted her gaze to that man, remaining calm. "Is that all you wanted?" she asked him. "To see me and Riku?"

"I could never pass up an opportunity to see an old friend," Ansem said with a faint smile, his eyes darting over to Riku behind Lightning's arm. He saw Lightning take a step forward at that and put a hand on her sword, but she couldn't hurt him. He was invincible.
