Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

    Forever Love

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku's free hand darted out instantly at Lightning's steps, his fingers curling securely around her shoulder. Don't get any closer, he told her silently. That's far enough. His gaze, however, was fixed on Ansem. He was far from an old friend of his, that was for sure.

"I see not much has changed," Ansem said to Riku upon seeing him stop Lightning. "You're still terrified of the power that I could offer you. The power that I inflict on others." Riku utilized the Darkness, but he didn't know its full power. Ansem was determined to show it to him soon. He was tugging at his heartstrings, tormenting his soul. Riku would fall into his grasp once more, and stay there.
Riku's eyes narrowed slightly at the words, his grip on Lightning's shoulder tightening. "...It's not power," he told Ansem. "It's torture." And he wouldn't be going through it again. Never again. It was awful, raw...scarring.

We're getting nowhere here, Lightning thought as Riku tightly pinched her shoulder. It was a firmer grasp; he was upset. She thought about telling him to walk away, but she knew he wouldn't. That meant it was time to take action. If this last change in the conversation didn't work, then she'd pull out her sword. But before she got a chance to speak, Ansem did.

Ansem chuckled lowly as his guardian appeared behind him. "Torture," he said. "Funny you'd choose that word, because that is what I'm doing to your heart just by existing."

"Hey!" Lightning snapped, moving to take a small step forward despite Riku's hand on her shoulder. Okay, I've had enough of this guy. He's obviously doing something to Riku. It's time to take him down. They'd have to find another solution to their other problems.

"Lightning!" Riku growled, stepping with her and moving his hand to her upper arm, gripping it tightly. He had to be firm; she didn't know who she was messing with...not yet. The Guardian was a reminder of the past he had before, and Riku felt himself become even more uneasy. Fighting Ansem...It would only let him in more. Riku couldn't do it...and neither could Lightning.

Lightning shut her eyes briefly, feeling a little agitated. Riku was the one who wanted to charge in and fight him right away, but apparently he had a change of heart. She opened her eyes and Ansem was no longer standing there, nor was his guardian. Both of them vanished into thin air.
Riku saw Ansem and the Guardian disappear in the blink of an eye, and after that happened, he closed his eyes. He was still uptight because, even if Ansem was gone, Riku could still feel his presence in his heart. He's after me again...

Just like that, the opportunity is lost, Lightning thought as she looked down at Riku's hand on her arm. She should have kept a cooler head, but she couldn't help but be defensive of the one that she loved. But what were they supposed to do now? She needed to figure out what mental state Riku was in, but not here. He was too uptight to want to talk about what just happened. Maybe it was best they just left.
Riku slowly loosened his grip on Lightning's arm until he let go of it completely, his hand falling to his side. He opened his eyes to look at his Keyblade, knowing it would be there way out of here. "...We should go," he said lowly. He didn't want to be here any longer.

"Right," Lightning said after a moment. It didn't seem like they would get anything more done today. Besides, they had been searching for a while. It was best to head back and meet the others to see if they had luck with anything. If they did, good. If they didn't, then they had a problem.
Riku stepped over and threw his Keyblade up into the air. It transformed into his glider instantly, coming back down and stopping beside him. Riku donned his armor and climbed on in silence, staring at the snow-covered ground as he waited for Light to hop on. He didn't want to talk about this...at all.

Lightning climbed back onto the cycle, wrapping her arms around Riku wordlessly. Unlike the times where they had fights, she held herself close to him and rested her head against his back. This was the only support she could think to provide, as his girlfriend. As a soldier, she was thinking about how she could hunt down Ansem and kill him so he'd never bother her Riku again.
Riku closed his eyes at Lightning's close proximity, taking in a breath before he forced his glider forward. He didn't want Lightning anywhere near Ansem. Knowing Ansem, he would use her as bait, as a way to get to Riku even more than before. Riku couldn't have that happen...ever.

As the two of them flew off, Lightning turned her head a little to look at the mountain they were flying away from. She saw the small speck that was Ansem, who was there watching them. She didn't tell Riku. Instead, she kept her mouth shut as they flew towards their destination. They had bigger concerns than just fighting. Riku wasn't in good shape.

In Enchanted Dominion

Aqua grunted, being forced back by Xehanort's power. His Keyblade managed to strike her in the stomach, catching her off guard. The young woman slid along the ground, her metal shoes grinding against the earth as she tried to stop herself. She lifted her free hand to her stomach, breathing heavily as she glared up at Xehanort. He couldn't extract Eraqus from Terra's heart; it would only end badly for the man she loved.

Terra felt infuriated that Xehanort hurt Aqua, and that only made him want to tell her to leave. This was his fight anyway. Xehanort took advantage of him in the past and nearly destroyed him, but Terra would fight back to make sure it didn't happen again. He wouldn't give Xehanort the power to rule over him again. He charged forward and clashed blades with the Keyblade Master, pressing his blade against Xehanort's when his attack was blocked.

Xehanort snickered when he blocked Terra's attack with one hand on his Keyblade hilt. The other hand was empty, free to unleash an attack. Darkness swirled around it for a moment before he lifted it, sending a dark blast right into Terra's stomach. It sent the Keyblader flying, where he crashed into a tree and sank down into the ground.

Aqua's eyes widened, following Terra as he flew across the area. When he slumped down to the ground, she knew instantly that she had to get to him before Xehanort. The woman pushed herself to her feet, firing a Blizzaga spell Xehanort's way as she sprinted to Terra's position.

Xehanort deflected the attack and sent it back at Aqua, though its freezing power was increased twofold. If the attack landed, it wouldn't completely encase her in ice, but it would cause her enough trouble that he could get to Terra. The time was drawing nearer. It was time to release his former friend.

Terra grunted from his spot on the ground, having landed on his stomach. He rolled himself over and tightened his grasp on his Keyblade. His eyes widened when he saw Xehanort send his attack at Aqua, and he was afraid she wouldn't see it. She was too distracted by him. "Aqua!"

Aqua caught Terra's fearful eyes and cry, and she turned her head in Xehanort's direction immediately. She cried out in surprise, her eyes widening when she was suddenly impacted by ice. She was forced back, landing on her back as her form started to numb. No!

Terra grunted when Aqua fell, and this time, he felt real fear surfacing in his heart. Fear that Xehanort would get his way. He looked towards his enemy, and while he was glad he wasn't focused on Aqua, he was still frightened that he was focused on him. His eyes were hungry as ever. Terra pushed himself up a little more and pointed his Keyblade at Xehanort, shooting off a fireball from the tip of his Keyblade.

You two are hopeless, Master Xehanort thought in amusement. Terra would fall for the same thing that Aqua just did. He put a barrier in front of himself and reflected it back at Terra with more fervor than Terra originally put into the attack. He didn't react to Terra's cry of pain, though it did satisfy him when Terra fell back down so he was laying on his side. He wouldn't be able to fight back now.

"Terra!" Aqua cried, her voice heavy with fear. Xehanort was going to have his way...and Terra would be a victim to his Darkness once again. Aqua struggled against her nearly-frozen form, fighting to return to her feet and protect who she cared for. But it was no use. Master Eraqus...protect him.

Master Xehanort saw Terra lift his pain filled eyes to him as a hand covered his heart. He thought that could stop him? That was pathetic. He stopped a foot or two away from his puppet and pointed his Keyblade at his heart as darkness swirled around his weapon. He saw Terra's eyes reflect fear, and he was right to be afraid. A beam of Darkness intertwined with Light came out the tip of Xehanort's Keyblade and pierced Terra's chest, making the man release a startled grunt. But there was nothing he could do as Eraqus's heart left him.

Aqua gasped in fright, her wide eyes on the scene before her. She could do nothing but watch helplessly, fear overcoming her as she caught Terra's expression. She trailed the heart that left him, knowing it was the one that belonged to their Master. "...Master Eraqus," she whispered.

The heart that left the Keyblade Knight's heart floated several feet into the air, traveling over to descend between the eldest Master and the female Master. Upon its descent, orbs of light fell from the heart and formed a body familiar to all three warriors. Eraqus's feet touched the ground as his eyes finally opened, a quiet breath leaving him. However, he knew he wasn't here on good terms; his pupils were in much trouble.

Master Xehanort looked away from Terra as he struggled to catch his breath, seeing that the other Keyblade Master had now arrived. "Hello, old friend," he said as he kept his blade pointed at Terra. "I believed it would be appropriate for you to return to see me succeed." And his moment of success would come right now. Terra's heart was weak because of Eraqus's strength leaving him; now was Xehanort's time.

Terra grunted, a fist to his chest as he felt the Darkness swirling in his heart. This was a feeling that he hadn't experienced in over ten years. He felt physically weak because of the battle that was just fought, but the condition of his heart worried him so much more. His heart was so...weak, on its own. He wasn't strong enough to face Xehanort after all. Not even close.

Eraqus turned his head, his dark eyes falling on someone he used to respect. "You always were quite persistent, Xehanort," he said, calm despite the fear of seeing the young man who was like a son to him mere minutes from Darkness. "A time greater than ten years has neglected to change that...but now the time has come for you to leave my son alone." Eraqus summoned his Keyblade to him immediately, not hesitating in attacking. He lifted one hand and fired off a hot spell to rid Aqua of her cold bonds, then using his Keyblade to send chains of Light at his friend of the Darkness.

Aqua instinctively closed her eyes when the spell was sent her way, traveling quickly. Her form grew warm, the numbness melting away. She took in a deep breath, opening her eyes in time to see Eraqus send his spell towards Xehanort. She knew what he wanted her to do...and that was to fight.
