Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

What?! Xehanort thought in shock, quickly moving to the side and dodging the attack despite his age. Eraqus was not supposed to return with such strength! He expected that he would be weak, just as Terra was now. One of his calculations were actually wrong, and now he would have to suffer the consequences of it. Eraqus would be a problem.
"Aqua!" Eraqus called, his spell fading from being dodged. He briefly made eye contact with her, catching her nod as she rose to her feet and casted a shield around Terra. Xehanort would not be reaching him today. Eraqus closed in on his old friend, swinging as he heard Aqua call to the sky for bolts of lightning to rain down on Xehanort mercilessly.

Terra forced himself to his knees behind Aqua's shield, his Keyblade sitting in the ground beside him. His eyes found Xehanort stumbling back from Aqua's attack and defending himself against Eraqus. Eraqus. He looked exactly the way that he did over ten years ago when Terra was fooled into causing his demise. He grunted, looking down at his knees in both weakness and sorrow. His Master had to be disappointed in him, both for that day and for not being strong enough to stand up to Xehanort this day.
Aqua closed in on Xehanort from behind while Eraqus distracted him, her Keyblade swinging with all her strength. She didn't have much due to the length of the previous fight against the Master, but it would be enough to help her. Xehanort couldn't get to Terra...He just couldn't.

Xehanort dodged Aqua's attack and moved over to the side, free of both Masters for a moment. "I will have my way!" he cried as he vanished into a dark portal. He would return with assistance to take over Terra's body. Step one of his plan was complete, but step two would have to wait until another day.

Aqua gritted her teeth as she watched Xehanort flee, but a hand on her shoulder calmed her. She turned her head, her eyes softening when they fell on the man she saw as her father. "...Master Eraqus," she said. He nodded to her in seriousness, though the smallest smile appeared on his lips, bringing one out of her.

"Aqua," Eraqus replied softly. He squeezed her shoulder as he turned his head, spotting one of his sons on the ground. "We must tend to Terra," he told the young woman. They would have their reunion later.

Terra remained on his knees, though his eyes were now on the Keyblade that sat beside him. I will have my way, Xehanort had said. Terra was starting to believe it. Now that Eraqus's strength left him, Terra could tell just how weak his heart was. He couldn't believe that he depended on Master Eraqus's strength all these years instead of creating his own strength! He felt like such a fool. His Master was probably disappointed in him, both of letting Xehanort get him and for not strengthening his heart. And for killing him. Terra was guilty, of many things.
Aqua started over towards Terra, her footsteps quicker than Master Eraqus's, who calmly approached. She knelt down next to the person she loved and placed a hand on his shoulder, tilting her head. "Terra?" she said softly, her voice holding concern. Was he alright?

Terra grunted, turning his head to look at Aqua as a fist remained to his chest. "I'm okay," he said, reading her thoughts. As okay as I'm going to be, considering the situation. He could feel the Darkness swirling in his heart, and it was also influencing his thoughts. He was a different person without a strong Light in his heart, not that that fact was apparent to even himself yet.
Eraqus took a few more steps before stopping in front of the duo, his eyes grave at what nearly happened to his pupils. "I'm not going to ask questions," he stated softly. "I've been with you long enough to understand how this happened." He looked directly at Terra, having seen everything through his eyes. The situation was dark, just as Xehanort wanted it to be. But he would not have his way, despite what he claimed.

Again, Terra grunted and looked down at his knees. Right. You saw how easily I lost the fight, and how I failed to become strong enough to prevent this. Now you're here to clean up my mess. He failed his Master, his mentor. His father. He felt the most disappointment in the last title. He failed his father yet again.
Eraqus caught Terra's sadness, which caused him to squat down in front of his pupil. "Relax, my son," he said, setting a hand on the shoulder that wasn't occupied by Aqua's hand. "Xehanort won't have his way with you. That I can promise." He wouldn't let his son fall to Xehanort's tricks again.

"Son." How can you still call me that? Terra thought in sadness. He killed him. Regardless, Terra nodded faintly in response to his Master's words. He still wasn't going down without a fight, that was for certain. Xehanort was closer to his goal now, but hopefully this would be the closest that he would get. Terra didn't want to be his puppet again.
Aqua bit her bottom lip, knowing now wasn't the right time to smile, but she wanted to; Eraqus still loved Terra, despite how he was struck down in the past. She always knew he never held that against Terra. "...We should meet up with the others," she said then, her eyes moving to her Master. "We agreed to meet with everyone at our home." Master Eraqus surely knew by now that the Land of Departure was restored after a lot of hard work. They needed to meet up with the others.

"Yeah, we should go," Terra agreed, finally speaking a full sentence. I always hated this world anyway. This was Maleficent's world. The witch also made good use of him, just as many villains did. Terra used to be naive, so trusting. Not anymore. Now he wasn't sure of anything, except in the case of Aqua, Ven, and his other closest friends. But Eraqus? Terra wasn't sure. His Master had to at least be disappointed in him. But he wouldn't say those words aloud; they had bigger concerns now.
Aqua saw the Master back up and stand, but she used this as her opportunity to help Terra to his feet. He seemed weak now, so hopefully he could at least make it back to their former home. It was time they reported their findings to the others...and reunited Ventus with Master Eraqus.

After Aqua helped Terra to his feet, the two Masters and the Knight flew off to the Land of Departure. Being here normally made Terra feel at ease because this place was where he felt secure, but with Master Eraqus here, he felt tense. This was where he made him perish. How could he have not felt guilty for that before? Regardless, the three made their way inside towards the kitchen, where Terra heard the voices of Lightning and Riku. They were the only two back so far.

Eraqus walked into the kitchen behind his two pupils, silencing the room with his presence. The one with the silver hair, the young boy Terra had chosen to wield the Keyblade, gave him a curious look. Eraqus only smiled, nodding to him and the young woman who was near him.

"Riku, Lightning... Meet Master Eraqus," Aqua greeted with a slight smile. It was great to have him with them again, but...it was bad too. Terra was much more vulnerable, and it only proved that Xehanort got his way in one form.

Lightning arched a brow slightly, looking over all three of the new people. Master Eraqus? Light had never heard anything about him, yet she sensed that Aqua and Terra were very familiar with him. Riku knew of him too because of Terra telling the whole group a long time ago, before Light came along and joined them. She kept her mouth shut, nodding faintly to the stranger in greeting. It was best not to ask stupid questions at a time like this.

Riku instantly tensed, if that was even possible, given how tense he already was from his previous encounter with Ansem. "...That means that Xehanort..." he started, trailing off. Xehanort was the only one they knew that could extract hearts, and the last he heard, Terra had Eraqus in his heart. But he was with them now, in his true form.

"That's correct, Riku," Eraqus declared with a nod. "Xehanort used his power to release me from Terra's heart." The Master glanced at the Knight, though his eyes immediately fell back on the youngest Keyblade Master to date. "That was as far as he got with all of us."

"Did anything happen while you guys were out?" Terra asked Riku and Lightning as he changed the subject away from his own failure.

"We ran into Ansem," Lightning said with a slight shrug. "But nothing happened. He was there one minute and gone the next." He was there to taunt them, and to get inside Riku's head. While she wasn't afraid of him, she could tell that he did succeed in getting under Riku's skin. She was really concerned about that, more than the man's fighting capabilities.

Yeah, nothing happened, Riku silently agreed, though Light was far from correct. Something did happen, and that was that Ansem got inside Riku's head. Riku wasn't normally so vulnerable, but seeing that man again... It was horrifying.

Aqua nodded slightly, though her eyes did settle on Riku for a few seconds. He didn't seem okay, but she wouldn't ask questions about that particular subject. "And the others? Have you heard from them?" she asked, referring to Ventus, Sora, and Roxas.

Light shook her head. "No, but I'm sure they'll be back soon." Maybe Ven made everyone stop and get ice cream, she thought lovingly of her half-brother. It was something that he would do to cheer people up, but she knew he wouldn't do it today. This was too serious.
Eraqus looked around at the others, blinking. "Is Ventus with them?" he asked, referring to the others. He hadn't seen his youngest student with his own eyes in such a long time, and when he did...he tried imprisoning him. He needed to apologize.

Lightning grunted, nodding. Yeah, Ven was with Sora and Roxas. She was glad for that, believing that he was safe with them. Sora and Roxas were two people that she actually trusted, even if she didn't know Roxas as well as she knew Sora. She thought she heard the front door open even from this room, and she figured that the trio had returned.
