Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's senses were highly trained, allowing him to pick up on the large door to the castle shutting. "...Looks like they're here," he said, getting down from the barstool he was seated at. He had to hide the fact that he was affected by Ansem from Sora. His best friend couldn't know about this.

Ventus was at the front of the group, the eighteen year old frustrated with their encounter with Xemnas and Vanitas. He didn't like this. The way that Xemnas and Vanitas fought them, it seemed as if they had a real plan this time. And it was a plan that they didn't make known to any of the Keybladers. Hopefully the others figured out something while they were out. He walked into the kitchen and saw Riku, Light, Aqua and Terra. And someone else. He stopped in his tracks, shocked. Master?
Eraqus turned at the footsteps, his eyes falling on the trio who just entered. One of them looked much like Ventus, but he recognized his student immediately upon making eye contact. "...Ventus," Eraqus said, a small smile coming to his lips. "You've grown." He remembered him when he was so young, but seeing him with his own eyes now... He had matured.

A smile immediately spread on Ven's face as he hurried the distance between him and Master Eraqus, the teen taking his mentor in an embrace. Xehanort may have been his Master at one point, but Eraqus was more of one to him. He was his mentor, and his adoptive father. "It's good to see you again, Master," he said quietly, his smile wide despite his confusion as to what Eraqus was doing here.
Eraqus's eyes widened at the sudden embrace, looking down at the student who had gotten taller since there last encounter. He lifted a hand to the boy's head of spiky hair, his other arm wrapping around his upper back to return the embrace. "You as well, Ventus," he said with a small nod. His eyes flicked to his other two students, seeing that Aqua was smiling at the warm reunion.

A small chuckle left Ven's lips, though it wasn't because there was anything humorous about this situation. It was because he was happy. He never thought that he'd see Master Eraqus again! He always sensed his presence when he was around Terra, but... Terra. Ven loosened his grip on his Master and looked to Terra as his arms came back completely and his smile faded. He understood now. Master Xehanort.
Roxas watched the reunion unfold and then end, Master Eraqus (who he had heard about a long time ago) releasing Ven. He followed his look-a-like's gaze to Terra, seeing that he didn't appear too happy. Master Eraqus was inside him the last he heard, and now he was his own person again. "...Master Xehanort?" he asked, receiving a nod from Aqua. He looked away immediately, frowning. So they all ran into one of his forms then...except for Lightning and Riku. He hadn't heard their story just yet.

Sora looked over everyone, though he couldn't see Riku well from his spot. "We ran into Xemnas and Vanitas," he said quietly. "But they left before things got too heated." They fought for a few minutes, but then they just left. Sora didn't understand it, or what they had planned. He hoped the others knew something, because he sure didn't.
"...Nothing eventful happened on our side either," Riku stated, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at the ground. He hoped Lightning would catch the hint and not mention the uncomfortable run-in with Ansem, but she probably wouldn't; she hadn't said anything to Aqua and Terra about it.

Lightning didn't bother saying anything, though she could tell that Riku was troubled by whatever did happen on the mountain side. On their way back, he stopped at his home and picked up something that he now had in his pocket; a blindfold. She didn't ask about it, but she would soon. For now, they had other issues. "So, none of us know what they're planning," she said aloud. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Ven's eyes were downcast and Sora was shaking his head. Great.
Aqua placed a hand on her hip, keeping her spot next to Terra. "We know each of them personally, don't we?" she suggested, looking around at the others. She, Terra, Ven, and Eraqus dealt with Xehanort up close in the past, and the same went for Sora and Roxas with Xemnas, and Riku with Ansem. "Perhaps we could think of their past motives and come up with a possible reason for all of them working together." That was all she could come up with; none of them actually discussed what was going on or could be the main goal. Instead, they split up immediately. Maybe it was time for some discussion and theory.

Sora lifted a hand, scratching the side of his head. "The goal seems pretty obvious to me," the brunet said, glancing around the room. "Kingdom Hearts. And probably the X-blade too." Xehanort always did seek more power, as did Ansem and Xemnas. Their philosophy this time must have been to divide and conquer, or something along those lines. But why did Xehanort attack Aqua and Terra while his other remnants didn't try to do serious damage in a fight? He was so confused...
"Xehanort wishes to gain Terra's body as his own," Eraqus pointed out, linking his hands behind his back as he stared at the ground. "While Kingdom Hearts may be a clear goal, he also wants to have a new form--a much younger, stronger, and agile form." Of course, that wasn't going to happen. Terra wouldn't fall to Xehanort again, not under Eraqus's watch.

"I just don't get why they're going about it like this," Sora said, eyebrows furrowed as he looked down at the ground. It made no sense. It was like they were being cautious, but at the same time, they were seeking their goal. The fact that Master Eraqus was here proved just that. They had a plan to reach these goals, but the plans were unreadable. It made Sora feel unnerved, but it especially made Ven and Terra feel worried because they were main targets. That was why they were especially quiet right now.
Riku didn't say anything, not voicing his opinions. While Terra was a main targert, so was he. Ansem hadn't directly said anything about controlling him again, but it was close enough. Riku glared at the floor, remembering the blindfold in his pocket. He would need to put that on...soon.

"Standing around here isn't going to do us any good," Lightning finally said, pushing herself off her seat. "We need to track them down, not just stand here talking about them." It wasn't doing them any favors; they knew nothing about what Xehanort was going to do to accomplish his goals. So there was no point discussing it further, because the answers weren't here. It was that simple.
"You have a point," Riku said softly, "but we can't be reckless. That's what they want." All of them wanted the group to come running, chasing after them so they could continue with their game. They could go after them, but they had to be smarter.

Lightning arched a brow, shaking her head faintly at Riku. "We don't know that," she pointed out. Xehanort may not expect something reckless like a full on assault, but maybe that was what they needed to do. She knew it was risky, but what other choice did they have? They couldn't wait for Xehanort to pull his next move, whatever it was.
Riku glanced up at Lightning before quickly looking away, uncrossing his arms. "I know that," he said lowly. He turned walking past the others without make eye contact as he started out of the room. He felt curious gazes on him, but he paid them no mind; he couldn't right now. His thoughts were enough to handle, and he didn't need to worry about everyone else's.

Light blinked in concern when Riku suddenly left, the girlfriend in her momentarily overshadowing her soldier nature. Regardless, she knew it would be best to give Riku some space right now. She focused her attention back on the group. "Our best bet is to track them down before they come hunting us," she concluded, looking back up at the group before her. "Make the next move before they can."
Roxas nodded, having been quiet this entire time. "Makes sense," he agreed. They would have to split up again, but that would be the best and quickest way to find their enemies. The same groups would work best, he believed, that way no one would think they were up to something.

Lighting saw that the rest of the group was silent. Sora was looking at the door as if wondering if he should follow Riku, and Terra and Ven were just blank. Ven's expression made her more angry; she wanted to get rid of the villains that were causing this type of distress for her boyfriend and brother. She lifted her gaze to Eraqus then, not sure what to make of his expression. He didn't seem to like her plan. Or her, for that matter.
"...How well do you know our enemies?" Eraqus asked, his eyes fixed on the woman not too far away. He had never met her before, though Aqua briefly introduced them. Who was she? He didn't sense the power of the Keyblade within her...which he didn't like.
  • Author
"Well enough," Lightning said with a slight shrug. She knew Xehanort, but not his other remnants. Or Vanitas. But she knew how others thought tactically since she was a soldier for so long. So even if she didn't know the villains personally, she could judge their intentions like she would judge those of any other dark person. She believed she had the right to speak here; she was a part of the group, after all.

"Doubtful," Eraqus declared with a frown. He studied Lightning for a moment before looking to the Keyblade wielders. "Perhaps we should let the ones who have personal relations with our enemies come up with a strategy, hm? They, and myself included, would know their thought-processes best." An outsider... She would be of little to no help, in his opinion.

Aqua blinked at Master Eraqus's bluntness, having not heard it in many years. He believed what he was saying was true, and while she half-heartedly agreed, she wasn't fond of his attitude towards Lightning.
