Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light was silenced by Riku's words, shocked by the order he gave to her. Lose the faith. She grunted roughly and closed the distance between the two of them once more, gripping his arm with both her hands. If he wanted to shake her off of him, he'd have to do more than just jiggle his arm out of her grasp. She couldn't let him go that easily.

Riku turned his head, once more glaring down at the person who wouldn't give up. The feeling of her gripping his arm only infuriated him more. He flexed his right hand again, summoning his Keyblade, which now took on the body of Soul Eater. If she wasn't going to catch the hint, he would have to use force.

"Riku, no!" Roxas cried, reaching a hand out when he saw the weapon. It was different, but the threat was clear. He couldn't hurt Lightning! He'd only regret it!

Lightning grunted at the sight of the weapon, but it only made her tighten her grip on Riku's arm. She wouldn't back down; somebody would have to tear her off of Riku in order to get her to release him. And she knew none of her normal friends would do it, not even her brother. He knew how much Riku meant to her. She braced herself for him to strike her.
Riku swung his arm around to strike the person that was clinging to him, but something hit him in the back, making him grunt in pain and stumble a step forward. He blinked at the stinging sensation, knowing that it was a fire spell to the back he just received. Little did he know that it was Eraqus who dealt the blow, only angering Riku more.

Light kept her grip on Riku's arm, though she turned to see the source of the attack. "Don't!" she said without thought to Master Eraqus. She'd rather Riku attack her than have him get hurt. She could take the blow, though she didn't want to get attacked by the man that she loved.
Riku turned his head in the direction Lightning was, though his eyes landed on Eraqus. "Bad decision, old man," he spat. He would make sure the Master paid for that later. Eraqus only stared at him, which made Riku smirk slightly. He would regret that move.

Don't judge him too harshly for this, Light thought to Master Eraqus, who didn't know Riku well. Just because he's possessed doesn't mean he deserves to be attacked. She looked back at the one she loved, still gripping his arm as the dark portal remained. She wished it would just vanish already, just like the Darkness in Riku's heart.
"Release him, soldier!" Eraqus ordered, taking a few steps forward. "Can't you see he is not listening to you? His heart has been devoured by the Darkness!" Lightning needed to release Riku now, or Eraqus was going to take some desparate measures in order to make it so. This wasn't a game they were playing.

"Shut up!" Lightning spat, gripping Riku's arm tighter and standing closer to him. It wasn't true! Maybe his heart was taken over by the Darkness for now, but she'd bring him back. She and Sora, and Kairi...They could all get Riku back to his senses. But Kairi wasn't here, and Sora was silent. He hadn't given up hope, had he? Was she the only one who believed Riku could be saved?

Riku smiled darkly, hearing no protests from the others. Clearly they realized that it was time he left. "Better listen to him," he said, eyes on Lightning now. Why couldn't she just take the hint? He didn't want to be here anymore. He had things to do.

Eraqus frowned upon hearing the responses, and he lifted his weapon. "You leave me no choice then," he said, eyes narrowing. He called upon a spell, summoning sparks from the sky to zap Lightning's hands.

Light grunted at the sparks she felt, though she wasn't giving up that easily. Eraqus was a fool if he believed that. She wrapped her arms around Riku's instead, grinding her teeth. "Back off!" she shouted at the Keyblade Master, ticked off. He just didn't get it, did he? She loved Riku and wasn't willing to let him go even when he looked like a lost cause. That was never going to be a reality; there was always hope with him.
Eraqus could tell Riku was becoming furious with the clinginess, and the man didn't want the soldier dealing with her "lover's" wrath any longer. He decided it was time to use his most powerful spell. He released chains of Light, forcing them to wrap around Lightning's torso. He caught Riku's grunt at the spell, one he was obviously uncomfortable with.

Light's eyes widened when she was suddenly dragged off of Riku by the chains, the young woman being forced away. She reached her hands down and tried to remove the chains of Light, but they were unbreakable. Still she struggled, trying to tear them away from her. Riku was going to get away now!
Riku watched the woman who clung to him so heavily being dragged away, and he focused on the others afterward. He dismissed his Keyblade, gold eyes resting on Sora last. "...We'll be coming for you soon," he said, tone dark and unlike his usual voice. It was clear he was no longer the Riku they knew. He then turned, walking through the Dark Corridor and disappearing, the portal closing behind him.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows at Riku's departure, the teen lowering his head as his hands were curled into fists by his sides. He didn't want to let him go, but letting him stay here wasn't doing them any good. It was just making things worse since he almost attacked Lightning. He would have if Master Eraqus hadn't intervened.
Aqua watched her Master release Lightning from the chains, the spell disappearing. The encounter that just occurred was definitely unsettling, heartbreaking even, but there was nothing they could do. Lightning had to understand Master Eraqus's motives just now.

Lightning sank down to her knees when the spell released her, her head hanging as her hands were curled into fists on her thighs. She sensed Ven approaching to try and provide some type of comfort, but she was too ticked to accept anything that he would offer. She wanted to unleash all of her anger on Master Eraqus. He wasn't welcome here, with her. His rudeness to her in the kitchen started that, but this was the final straw. And they hadn't even known each other one day.
Eraqus lowered his Keyblade to his side, staring at the woman he released a few yards away. She clung to a person that was long gone, no matter how much faith she had in him. He knew Terra picked Riku to wield the Keyblade for a reason, and perhaps he was a good person at heart originally, but he was different now. They had to let the enemy go; keeping him here was only endangering themselves.

"You're a fool," Lightning said lowly to the Keyblade Master as Ven stood by her side. Eraqus forced her to let go of Riku; he let him get away. Now if anything happened to him, she was going to blame Eraqus. It was all his fault, not hers. She started shifting her anger so that she wasn't so angry at herself for letting Riku get possessed, but infuriated at Eraqus who let him get away.
"Nothing can be done to save him now," Eraqus calmly pointed out. "He has passed to the Other Side. The Darkness is too fresh and strong in his heart to bring him back." He had faith that something possibly could be done in the future, but now there was simply nothing they could do. Riku was in the Darkness.

"Shut up," Light scolded without moving, her eyebrows furrowing over her shut eyes. "You're wrong." Riku promised that he would fight back against the Darkness in his heart. She opened her eyes when she felt something touch her knee, a soft grunt leaving her when she recognized the item. It was Riku's blindfold that slipped off his eyes. She took it in her hand, holding it tightly.
Roxas looked at the others, walking forward a few feet so he could be closer to them. "...So what now?" he asked quietly. They couldn't handle an argument right now; they had to figure out just what was going on and how to solve the problem. Things couldn't keep going this way.

Terra scratched the side of his head, glancing at the ground. Normally Lightning was the one to speak up about strategy, but she wasn't talking now. Sora picked up the slack sometimes, but he wasn't talking either. And neither was Ven. "I guess...we'll have to pick up where we left off with our previous discussion," he said after a moment. What other choice did they have? They had no strategy, while Xehanort clearly did.

"Right," Aqua agreed with a nod, focusing. Before things turned ugly, they were discussing how they could track down the remnants and Vanitas...and now Riku and Orphan. "The only conclusion I can come to is to split up like we did just recently. It's the quickest way."

"But not the safest, Aqua," Eraqus pointed out, dismissing his weapon. "It is best if you stick together from now on. We never know what could be their next move." He didn't want to see anyone else suffer the way Riku just did. They couldn't afford another tragedy.

But if we travel as a pack, we'll probably never see them, Sora thought. Unless that was what they were planning. He hated this; he really did. Whenever Xehanort was around, they were always stuck following whatever plans he had for them. They were puppets. And now, Riku... The brunet fought the urge to groan. How was he going to tell Kairi about this?
