Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua bent down, setting a hand on Terra's shoulder as she balanced on her feet. "You are not a lost cause, Terra," she declared firmly. "Riku called himself that, but don't you dare say the same." She squeezed his shoulder, emphasizing her point. "We are going to get Riku back, and we're not going to lose you. But in order to do that, we have to make sure that you are willing to fight as well."

"Yeah," Terra said simply. "I'll fight." It wasn't like he was just going to let Xehanort get his way. He would fight back with all that he had even if there wasn't any hope. As long as he did something other than give up, there was a small chance they'd get a miracle. Both with himself and with his successor.
Aqua tilted her head slightly, silent for the moment. But then she lifted her free hand to the other side of Terra's face, turning it towards her. There were many things she wanted to tell him, but would they make a difference?

Terra didn't want to turn his head; he didn't want Aqua seeing the look in his eyes. He lifted his hand and grasped hers on his face, gently stopping her from turning his face any closer to her. "What?" he asked softly, though his tone wasn't harsh. Why did she want to look into his eyes at a time like this?
Aqua's eyes softened in sadness when Terra stopped her, the girl biting her lower lip. "...Look at me," she whispered faintly, requesting it. She wanted to look him in the eye; they hadn't talked since Xehanort's existence was known, and they barely made eye contact within the last day. It wasn't okay.

"I'd rather not," Terra whispered in response, keeping his hold on Aqua's hand. He knew she wanted to look him in the eye, but she wouldn't like what she saw. He didn't want her worrying more than she already was. At least one of them needed to have hope that things would work out in the end.
Aqua leaned forward then, resting her forehead against Terra's temple. She closed her eyes, clinging to the red strap over his shoulder with her fingers. "...Why not?" she asked weakly. He was so unresponsive that it was almost insulting. Why wouldn't he look at her?
  • Author
"Because," Terra said softly, closing his eyes at Aqua's close proximity. "You don't want to see my eyes. Not really." The look in his eyes would show that he was worried about all this and haunted by Xehanort. He didn't want her to know just how badly he was suffering. All that he wanted was for this to end, but he didn't see that happening anytime soon. Xehanort would not fall so easily.
"If I didn't want to see them, I wouldn't have requested it," Aqua whispered, feeling the breeze brush against the side of her face. She never had a problem looking at Terra; he was quite attractive, and his eyes always did let her in. It was a way for them to communicate without really speaking.

Terra exhaled a soft breath through his nose, knowing he had no choice. He released Aqua's hand and softly turned his head against hers so their foreheads were connected. Still he kept his eyes shut, not quite ready to open them yet. For now, he just wanted to share one moment of peace with Aqua, even if the peace didn't last long or wasn't the only thing he felt.
Aqua took in a breath at the movement, but it was one of content. Her hand that was on the side of his face moved to be in his hair, weaving into his dark spikes with ease. She let the breeze sweep by them again, paying it no mind. All she cared about at that moment was the man in front of her.

Terra hesitantly opened his eyes, though he felt relieved when Aqua's were still shut. She was as beautiful as ever. Strong, confident, and his. They had been best friends for so long, and they still were. But now there was more. He lifted his arm closest to Aqua and wrapped it around her lower back, his body facing her more now than it had been before.
Aqua felt the corners of her lips turn up the slightest bit at the movement and the touch. She lightly moved her fingers back and forth in Terra's hair, messing it up a little as she did so. She was sure that was the last thing he would mind now, but Aqua was just thankful he was holding her again, even a little bit. It proved her Terra was still there.

Terra silently allowed his eyes to shut after a moment, hoping that Aqua forgot about looking into his eyes. Maybe for now, this moment would be enough. He knew that soon they would have to head back though; the others would get concerned if they were out for too long and did not return. Everything was more dangerous with Xehanort out there.
Aqua allowed herself to take things a bit farther, the young woman letting her nose lightly touch Terra's, giving him a small eskimo kiss. This was her peace in a time of war, even if it was just for a moment. How could she let it pass her by?
  • Author
Terra felt a small amount of warmth in his heart at the Eskimo kisses, that being the first warmth he felt since Xehanort's return. He didn't want this moment to end. He didn't want to face reality. He tightened his hold on Aqua and leaned forward, connecting his lips to hers in a sudden kiss. He normally wasn't impulsive, but he needed her closer. At least for a minute.
Aqua was slightly surprised by the kiss, but she naturally returned it. It was always nice to receive affection from Terra, but she knew that they both needed it now. Times were hard on both of them, though Terra was suffering more. She kept her hands where they were, one hand in Terra's hair while the other gripped the red strap over his shoulder. She wouldn't let Xehanort take him... She just wouldn't.

The kiss lasted for a little while, but Terra was the one who ended it. He withdrew, pulling away his forehead as well. His free hand cupped the back of Aqua's head as he gently brought it to his shoulder, his head hanging over hers. He squeezed his eyes shut, angry at Xehanort for coming back into his mind and ruining this moment. He couldn't find peace for more than thirty seconds.
Aqua kept her eyes closed as her head found Terra's shoulder, but then she opened them to look out at the scenery. Her hand that was in Terra's hair moved to his other shoulder, resting there for the moment. "...Everything's going to be okay, Terra," she told him gently. "I promise." Aqua closed her eyes, reveling in Terra's warmth. This wouldn't disappear; Xehanort wouldn't take it from her. Terra was going to win this war, and she would be there with him the whole way.

Terra furrowed his eyebrows slightly, just because the words brought out different emotions in him. He was scared of this, and he didn't get scared easily. He was afraid for his friends before, but rarely for himself. Instead of being extremely cynical like earlier, he let himself believe Aqua's promise. "...I hope you're right."
"Mm," Aqua hummed softly, relaxing in Terra's arms while she could. She hoped she was right too, but the only way she could be was if they fought with all they had. Their hearts would use all their strength this time, and she knew Terra had enough power over his Darkness to fight off Xehanort. Her Light would help guide him if he felt blind.

Terra held onto Aqua for another few minutes, the soft breeze blowing randomly at times and reminding him that they were outside. Outside, alone, while nobody else knew of their condition. He released her eventually, regretfully. "We need to head back," he said softly, opening his eyes and looking at her. They needed to be responsible, like their Master taught them.
Aqua opened her eyes and lifted her head, looking up at Terra. She made eye contact with him for the first time in the day, and the expression she saw was one that allowed her to give a small smile of encouragement. He would be okay; he just had to believe in himself. Aqua lifted her chin a little more and pecked Terra on the cheek before rising to her feet. He was right. They needed to go.

Terra picked himself up, and with Aqua by his side, the two traveled back to the castle. As they got nearer, Terra half-expected to see Master Eraqus standing at the top of the steps, waiting to make sure that they got back safely. But Master Eraqus probably wouldn't be there; he did treasure his students, but he was sometimes bad at showing love.
Aqua approached the castle alongside Terra and climbed up the steps, the place lit up by various lanters on the chains connecting the castle to the mountains. It was time they both got some rest for the next big battle, which she was sure would be soon. The others were probably already resting.
