Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra approached the front doors, opening them as he and Aqua entered their former home. He glanced at her and briefly nodded, knowing that this was where they would part ways to go to their bedrooms. They were on different sides of the castle after all. And if Aqua didn't mind, he'd prefer to spend the night alone. He didn't want her to see all his tossing and turning.
Aqua looked up at Terra and smiled softly, nodding as well. She would see him in the morning. She lifted a hand and ran it briefly over his arm before going on her way, heading toward the room that was hers so many years ago. It was time to rest.

The Next Day

Terra walked amongst his group of friends in the woods of Twilight Town, some sunlight coming through the trees and illuminating the area. Everyone was together to look for Xehanort, since Master Eraqus insisted upon it. It was good they weren't alone, but Terra wasn't sure if Xehanort would face them now. Then again, what did they have to be afraid of? They stood a fair chance against all of them last time, and that was when Riku was still on the side of Light.

Roxas walked with the others, prepared to summon his Keyblade at any time. Funny things always happened in these woods; the last time he was here, he was attacked by Dusks that tried taking him back to the Organization. They were raw memories, but he knew some were worse. Like the ones from yesterday, and the ones that could be made today. He was prepared to fight off anyone who came in his path, much like the others.

Sora stayed close to Lightning, though he knew that she could protect herself when the time came. The brunet was concerned: would Riku fight with Xehanort and his remnants? If he went for Lightning and hurt her, he would regret it forever. That was why...Sora would step in. He'd face his best friend to protect the girl that Riku loved, and to protect Riku from doing something he'd hate himself for later. He glanced over at her one more time, though she wasn't looking at him. He followed her gaze up ahead as a barrier appeared at the end of the woods. One also appeared at the hole in the wall that would let them back into town. They were being trapped.

Aqua stopped with the others, her eyes narrowing as she searched the woods for any of the villains. She was in a defensive stance like everyone else, prepared to summon her weapon if it was needed.

A dark portal opened, Riku stepping out and stopping yards from the group of warriors. His gold eyes danced over all of them, lingering on the one who refused to let him go last time. She was so foolish, as were the others who thought they could save him. The Darkness was his path, nothing else.

Light automatically took a step closer to Riku when he stepped out of the portal, her hand loosening on the weapon that was in her bag. Sora stepped in front of her though and put his arm out to stop her from going any further. She looked at him and saw him shake his head faintly at her. Unfortunately, she understood. They wouldn't get through to Riku by just talking today. There was going to be a fight.
Riku smirked, seeing the way Sora stopped Lightning from proceeding. None of them listened to him, though--they all proceeded to hunt everyone down. It was a bad choice on their part. "I thought I made myself clear to all of you yesterday," he said, tone darker than normal. "Your options were to fight or to flee. Leaving would have saved your lives."

"I doubt that's true," Terra said lowly, shaking his head towards his successor. "Xehanort has a purpose for each of us, even if that purpose is death. He wouldn't let us live even if we fled."

"You're correct, Terra," Master Xehanort said. He noticed the Keyblade Knight spin around when the voice came from behind him, and Master Xehanort came out of a portal along with the child called Orphan. On the other side of the woods, Ansem appeared close to Riku. Whether Terra appreciated it or not, he hit the nail on the head. None would escape him.

Riku's smirk remained as he looked at the old man opposite him, waiting for the introductions to be started. Soon the fight would begin, and he could release his power. But who would he fight? That would be the most entertaining part of this entire thing. He glanced over to the side when Xemnas cornered the group on one side, Vanitas appearing on the other. They were trapped.

Ven stepped closer to Lightning, facing Vanitas where he stood. "Light..." he said softly to her, glancing over at her. When he got her attention, his eyes shifted to Vanitas. Today was the day that they would send him to the Realm of Darkness.

Lightning grunted, nodding faintly to Ven. Yeah, Ven. I know. "Let's skip the small talk," she suddenly said. She pulled out her gunblade and shot off a bullet at Vanitas. She knew the others probably didn't mind that they would skip the taunting that normally took place at the start of the battle. Obviously Sora didn't, since he ran to face Riku before Riku could seriously hurt somebody. Time to fight.

Vanitas blocked the bullet with ease, laughing before he darted towards Ventus. Did the idiot catch his message from yesterday? Was he going to fall for that ridiculous story he told? If Vanitas knew Ventus like he thought he did, they would be travelling to the Realm of Darkness very soon.

Riku simply smirked when he saw his best friend coming for him, and he summoned Soul Eater to his hand. Aqua went after Xemnas with Roxas, while Master Eraqus focused on Xehanort. They were all so predictable.

Ven saw Vanitas coming at him, but Ven didn't plan on fighting him right away. Instead, he used his speed to his advantage and raced past Vanitas to battle Orphan. Light would face Vanitas for a little while, then the two of them would work together to send him to the Realm of Darkness. He swung at Orphan with a battle cry, hearing Lightning also attack Vanitas. Game on.

Sora skidded to a halt in front of Riku, though he saw his friend's smirk and his weapon. "I guess this is how it needs to be, huh?" he asked, speaking both to himself and Riku. He didn't want to fight his best friend again, but it looked like they had to duke it out today.

"Hmph." Riku's eyes gleamed with taunting. "I always knew you were a sap." He then cried out, darting forward and slashing at Sora. His friend was a fool to think he could be saved. Like he told them the day before--he was a lost cause. Their faith would do nothing to help him.

Sora grunted, lifting his sword and blocking Riku's attack. "Yeah, I am," he agreed, pressing his weapon against Riku's. "But at least I'm a sap who has faith in his friend!" He shoved Riku off of him, eyebrows furrowed over his bright blue eyes. He knew he had to fight Riku, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't try to get through to him. Something would bring Riku back to them; he just didn't know what.
Riku backed off, though his smirk turned into a frown. "I had faith I could fight the Darkness, but look at me now." He opened his arms, indicating that his friend needed to take a good look at him. "Here I am, consumed by it. It was meant to be this way all along. I was just too stubborn to realize it." He was...powerful in this state, and he liked it.

"No," Sora said, shaking his head. "Now you're just too blind to see that you've got it wrong." He gritted his teeth and pointed his Keyblade at Riku, shooting off a blizzard spell. Whenever Riku thought of the Darkness, he often thought he was a lost cause. But the Darkness always blinded him to hope and the strength he carried in his heart. He still carried that strength and the ability to escape the Darkness. Sora knew he did.
Riku put up a shield with his free hand, gold eyes gleaming with laughter. "Gonna have to do better than that, Sora," he said with scorn. Simple spells weren't going to knock some sense into him, if that was what his old friend thought. It would take much more than that.

"Yeah," Sora said with a small nod. "I know." He summoned one of his friends, who suddenly appeared behind Riku. It was Simba, who always was one of his strongest allies. He extended his claws and went to scratch Riku's back while he was distracted by Sora. That was the point of the blizzard attack, after all.
Riku heard a low roar behind him, which caused his gold eyes to widen. But it was too late. A cry of pain left him as the claws dug into his back, shredding his shirt and sinking into his skin. How could he be fooled into that trick?!

Lightning, in the middle of the fight with Vanitas, glanced over at Sora and Riku out of the corner of her eye at the cry in time to see Simba vanish and Sora rush forward to start a real fight. She gritted her teeth in anger and frustration, hating that it came down to this. But maybe Sora was right. Maybe simply using words wasn't going to be enough to get through to Riku.
"Ha-ha! Too slow," Vanitas darkly chimed, sinking the teeth of Void Gear into Lightning's shoulder while she was distracted. If Riku kept his act up, his pathetic girlfriend would be finished in no time.

A cry left Lightning's lips at the harsh attack, the soldier silently scolding herself for being vulnerable. She extended her free hand and shot a fireball at Vanitas directly in front of her to get him away from her, knowing she couldn't let him that close again. He could have struck a more fatal blow than that if he wanted to just now, but he wanted to taunt her. Sick.
Vanitas flew back, landing on the ground with a rough grunt. He easily picked himself up, though, releasing dark energy to trail Lightning's movements and attack her. He wouldn't let her win so easily. He was going to get to Ventus.

Ven looked over and saw Lightning's position, his eyes widening before they quickly narrowed again. He left Orphan to Terra and ran over, slashing at Vanitas with his Keyblade. That was enough of facing Lightning; now it was time to face him. Ven wouldn't let his sister get hurt by his dark half any longer.
