Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"He said Vanitas hinted that he could be defeated there," Light said, eyebrows furrowing in disgust. The disgust wasn't necessarily at any of the villains; it was at herself. Of course Vanitas would purposely hint at something that would make Ven vulnerable. And here she thought it slipped out when he was taunting him...If it "slipped", it did on purpose. Vanitas set them up.

"One of us has to go in after them," Aqua said, stepping forward as she spoke. "We can't lose Ven to one of Vanitas's tricks." She wouldn't allow it to happen. Ven was the little brother she never had; she wouldn't lose him to Vanitas, of all people.

"I'm afraid it's too late," Eraqus admitted, looking to the others. "Vanitas has most likely blocked off all entry to the Realm of Darkness so he can battle Ventus alone. We must have faith that Ventus will make it out alive and come back to us." He kept his Keyblade in his grasp, not prepared to summon it away yet. "For now, we have to stick together. Splitting into separate groups will only result in disaster."

Lightning's hands curled into tighter fists at Eraqus's plan. "Even when we're together, we're not at much of an advantage. We need to at least get Riku back." Ven was out of their reach, and because of her. But if she could go out on her own, or maybe with Sora, to retrieve Riku, then they'd have an extra fighter on their side. They needed him now more than ever.
"Any ideas on how to do that?" Roxas asked, lifting an eyebrow. "He seems pretty convinced he's on the right side." That is, the side of Darkness. Xehanort's side. Riku was set on staying there, as far as Roxas could tell.

Sora scratched his head, glancing over at Lightning before he looked back to Roxas. "He's been in that position before, and he came back to us," he said. "We just need something to shock him out of it..." But he had no idea what that could be. Fighting him today didn't do much good, but then again, it didn't do much good in the past either. He had no idea how to bring his best friend back.
Eraqus looked over at Sora before his eyes switched to his oldest son. "We'll work on our strategy soon, but I do know that we need to make sure we don't lose another member of our group to Xehanort and his allies," he explained. His eyes stayed locked on Terra. "That is why we'll be sending Terra to a place that doesn't allow Darkness within its boundaries."

Terra blinked in surprise. "What?" he asked without thought, not only confused but alarmed with what he did understand. Master Eraqus was taking him out of the fight? He couldn't! They just lost Ven and Riku. Without three members of their core group, Xehanort and his company could easily overpower them in battle. What was Master Eraqus thinking?
Eraqus nodded to his former student. "You heard me correctly, Terra," he replied. "Sora and Roxas's significant others are at Disney Castle as we speak, and after today, so will you. Xehanort has managed to take one from our side, and now has the potential to eliminate Ventus. Your heart is vulnerable to the Darkness, as I'm sure you understand." Eraqus approached Terra, setting a strong hand on his shoulder. "I don't want to lose you to Xehanort either, which is why I would like you to go to Disney Castle and strengthen your Light."

Terra grunted, looking down and over at the side with a glare. You'd "like" me to go, he repeated in his mind. You say it like I have a choice. I know it's an order. But... But even if he was in extreme danger of being taken by Xehanort, he couldn't just sit by the sidelines while his friends fought! Without his blade on their side, they could die. But with his blade against them, they most certainly would. That was why Master Eraqus wanted him gone.
Aqua remained where she was, still as she watched the two before her. Terra's reaction was predictable; she knew he didn't want to leave the group to save himself, especially when he had a score to settle with Master Xehanort. But at the same time, she understood where Master Eraqus was coming from. Her blue eyes located her father figure, seeing that he only continued to gaze at Terra, faith in his eyes. He believed in Terra, that much she could see, but he also wanted to protect him. By the way Master Eraqus worded it, Aqua assumed he didn't mean for Terra to sit out of the battle completely; he just wanted Terra to strengthen his Light enough as to not fall to the Darkness Master Xehanort could put upon him. It made sense, and wanting Terra to be safe, she agreed with Master Eraqus. "You should do as he asks, Terra," she declared, supporting her Master.

Terra glanced up at Aqua when she spoke, though he wasn't surprised that she supported Master Eraqus. Of course she wanted him out of harm's way when he was vulnerable. He knew there was no getting out of this now; Master Eraqus was too stubborn to be swayed. "...When should I leave?" he asked after a moment. He assumed the answer was to leave at that moment, but he wanted to be sure. And besides, that was the only thing he could think to say as he stared at the ground again.
"Immediately," Eraqus said with a nod. He squeezed Terra's shoulder, knowing that this could be the last time he saw his son. Destiny had decided the Master's path, and it would be an ugly end. "Say your farewells, then depart. The sooner you strengthen your Light, the better." He stepped away from Terra, allowing a chance for the others to wish him good luck and for that luck to be returned; this fight would continue without the Keyblade Knight.

Terra nodded slightly, glancing up and seeing his group of friends. Gosh did it feel empty without Riku, Ven, and the girls here. It didn't feel right. He glanced at Sora and Lightning, seeing sadness fresh on the Keyblader's face because he was losing another friend for a time. The emotion was also on Lightning's face, though she tried to cover it up. But he then looked to the face that he was most nervous about seeing: Aqua's.
Aqua turned her head away from Roxas, seeing that he was simply staring at his shoes. Nobody was happy about losing another member of the group, but this was what had to be done. Her eyes made contact with Terra's immediately, and she saw the vulnerability in them. She was sure the same emotion was shown on her expression, but she forced a small smile, nodding. She had faith in Terra, so she knew he would come out of this successful. But would this be the last time they saw each other? What if Xehanort got his way again, eliminating her or Master Eraqus or another person in their group? This really would be goodbye.

Terra shook his head faintly, not humoring Aqua's forced smile. He stepped past Master Eraqus and walked over to the girl that he loved, setting a hand on the back of her head while also wrapping an arm around her to bring her to a gentle embrace. Goodbye. For now. He'd return as soon as he could so that he could fight by her side and protect her from the monster that was Xehanort.
Aqua wrapped her arms around Terra immediately, her face buried in his chest as she gripped the back of his shirt. She didn't want to let him go, but she did at the same time, simply because it would save him. Xehanort wouldn't get to him this way, and that was what she and the others wanted. Aqua hoped to see her soulmate soon, but with Xehanort, anything could happen.

Terra shut his eyes, lowering his head in a feeling of defeat. "I'm sorry," he said softly to Aqua, though he wasn't sure what he was apologizing for. Maybe it was nothing. Or maybe it was for everything. He was sorry that he had to leave her now. He was sorry that he couldn't protect her. He was sorry that he was weak.
Aqua held Terra more tightly at the words, though she shook her head. "Don't be," she told him, her voice muffled into his shirt. This was how things were meant to be, and she knew that him leaving was the best for right now. It meant he would survive, even if the rest of them didn't.

Terra shook his head, though he was sure Aqua didn't sense it. He would be sorry, despite what she said. There was so much to be sorry for, even if they were things that he couldn't control. He wished things were different, but wishing wasn't going to get him anywhere. He lowered his head further and gave Aqua a kiss on the top of her blue hair before he pulled back from the hug.
Aqua felt Terra pulling back, and as much as she didn't want to release him, she did. Her hands fell back to her sides, her eyes lifting to his face when they seperated. She mouthed the words "I love you" to him in the silence, the smallest smile of sadness and encouragement on her lips. She would see him again, and hopefully soon. If not then, then it would be a time where peace was their world and they were both happy and together again. Forever.

Aqua's mouthed words made Terra's lips tug up into a small smile. "You too," he silently mouthed back to her. He gazed at her for a moment before he looked around at everyone, from Sora to Lightning to Roxas, and then to Master Eraqus last. "See you soon," he said, lifting a hand and hitting his armor button. It appeared on him, shielding the others from seeing the sorrowful expression he now did not try to hide.
Eraqus squinted the slightest bit at the light that accompanied the armor, but afterwards, he nodded to Terra. "Do well, my son," he wished him. Terra would succeed; he felt it. Soon Xehanort would be no match for him.

Terra nodded faintly, starting towards the exit of the woods which was past Master Eraqus. He slowed down by his Keyblade Master, giving him a request. "Take care of Aqua," he said lowly so that he could only hear. He knew that he and his Master hadn't had a candid conversation since his return, and it was because Terra avoided it, but he couldn't leave without making sure Aqua was taken care of. She meant the world to him.
Eraqus turned his head at the request, nodding to Terra as he gazed into the visor of his helmet. He briefly put a hand on Terra's shoulder, feeling the strong armor. "Farewell," he bidded, knowing this could be the last time he saw Terra. Xehanort wouldn't make things easy, for either of them.

Again, Terra nodded faintly, though he gazed at his Master a second longer because for the first time in a while, Master Eraqus couldn't study his eyes. He was glad that the guilt he felt over all this was hidden from view now. He started walking away, and once he was in the clear, he summoned his glider and flew towards his destination: Disney Castle.
