Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down and over to the ground. He didn't want to say it; it was a painful topic. But these three needed to know. "Riku," he finally said. "He's possessed again...and fighting as one of them." He joined their side. Terra had faith that Riku would snap out of it eventually, but until then, he was a danger to himself and to all of them. It made him nervous, especially since he could end up that way with Xehanort very easily.
Kairi's eyes widened, a sharp gasp leaving her. "...No," she muttered in denial, shaking her head. He wasn't...like that again. She wouldn't believe it. Riku fought his Darkness for so long! He wouldn't fall back into it again!

Terra didn't look up or respond to Kairi's simple word and Namine's shaky breath. "The next fight we had, we lost Ven. He's trapped in the Realm of Darkness now. Master Eraqus sent me here so Xehanort wouldn't get to me next." He wished that wasn't how things were, but it was. He hated this situation so much...
Kairi turned, walking a few steps away so she could compose herself. She was so frightened for Riku's safety, as well as Ven's and the others'. What was happening to all of them? Master Xehanort was knocking them off one by one! Just the thought scared Kairi, but to know it was true... She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. Sora...please be careful. They couldn't lose anyone else...

I gotta do something, King Mickey decided immediately. "I'm gonna go help," he said, though he didn't know where to start. Tracking down Xehanort would be a good start. Or Riku. "You guys stay here." He started walking out of the room, though the door was a ways off.

"King Mickey," Namine called hesitantly to the mouse king. When he turned around and hummed to show that he was listening, she hesitated. Wasn't this just a stupid request? Probably, but... "I'd like to come with."

Kairi heard the words leave her friend's mouth, and she opened her eyes to stare at the floor. Her eyebrows furrowed as she contemplated the idea, aware that it was risky. But her friends were worth it, and she was sure Namine was thinking the same thing. "Me too," Kairi agreed with a nod, then turning around to face the King. She wasn't about to sit out on this any longer than she already had. She wasn't as good as Sora or Riku in battle, but her weapon would be an addition to the group and make up for the ones lost.

King Mickey lifted a hand, scratching the side of his head. Bringing them along was dangerous, but he could take care of them. Besides, they knew enough defense that they would be okay with his assistance. "...Okay," he finally agreed. "You guys can come. Terra, stay here and try to recover your strength." He noticed the Knight nod, and then he turned and started walking again. It was time to intervene.
Kairi started after the King, glancing at Terra briefly when she passed him. She offered him a subtle nod, so focused and afraid for the others that she couldn't muster an encouraging smile. She was just so worried... She hoped everyone was okay.

In Neverland

King Mickey had his guard up, his Keyblade in his grasp as he walked familiar ground. This was the same area where he fought Vanitas so many years ago and was defeated. Those weren't pleasant memories, but they weren't his focus right now. He had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, but he tried to stay calm so he wouldn't worry Namine or Kairi. They already had their guard up, so they'd be okay. Whatever the threat was, they'd face it or flee. They wouldn't be defeated.

Kairi walked slightly behind King Mickey, Namine beside her. She looked around curiously, not remembering much of this part of Neverland, even if she hadn't been here often. Something didn't feel right to her, though, her heart being the sensor. She knew that not all worlds were like Mickey's and full of Light, but the Darkness here still wasn't settling. She kept her hands balled into loose fists, prepared to face any Unversed, Nobodies, or Heartless that appeared.

Namine glanced around the area with tents and teepees, her blonde eyes alert. This was one of the first times, if not the first time, that she was in a possibly dangerous place without Roxas. Roxas... She wished that he was here. She was scared without him here with her, even if she trusted King Mickey and she trusted what ability she did have. Something just didn't sit right in the air. She stopped walking when she heard a noise, and she looked to the right to see a figure exiting a dark portal with his hood up. Immediately she took a step away. Who was that?
Kairi stopped walking when Namine did, her eyes narrowing slightly when she saw the cloak. "The Organization?" she murmured. It wasn't Xemnas was it? She tensed, not summoning her weapon just yet. She would only do so when there was a clear threat.

"It can't be," King Mickey said, shaking his head as he approached the figure. Even if he was shorter than the girls, he stood between them and the figure with his Keyblade in his grasp. "All of them were killed, 'cept for..." He trailed off, eyes dancing over the figure. He did have the right build, but it couldn't be him. Axel? He disappeared a few years ago; he wouldn't just show up now.
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed as she studied the figure before her and her companions, sensing some familiarity here. The last time she truly saw someone in an Organization coat other than Xemnas was a long time ago. She perked up slightly, her lips parting as she took a small step forward. "...Axel?" she called softly. The heat from him came her way, something she also recognized since he wielded fire. She also recognized the build, since he kidnapped her so many years ago. What was he doing here?

Axel shook his head slowly, keeping his hood up. Drat, I was hoping they wouldn't recognize me. But he still had a job to do. He extended his arms and summoned his weapons, holding them in his grasp tightly. He had to at least kidnap one of the girls. It was what Xemnas ordered him to do. And with this matter, he had no other choice.

Namine gasped at Axel, knowing by the weapons that it really was him. "Axel, what are you doing?!" she cried. He was going to fight them? They were friends!

Kairi summoned her Keyblade to her side instantly, eyeing the chakrams. That's not Axel...at least not the one we knew, she realized, frowning. What did he want, though? Why was he threatening them?
  • Author
Axel tightened his grasp on his chakrams. I'm sorry, he thought to them. But then he threw them at the group, though it was mostly directed at King Mickey. The mouse king easily hit them away before charging forward to fight him. Axel would try his best not to hurt any of them, but in the end, he did have to defeat them. It was his only choice in the matter. And thus the fight began.

Radiant Garden

Roxas walked through the town alongside Sora, Lightning, Master Eraqus, and Aqua, the latter two following behind him and his Somebody. He looked around the restored town, seeing that they were in the wide-open square, a place Aqua mentioned she had fought Vanitas before. At least it wasn't too crowded back then, he thought silently, his eyes on the path just at the incline, the four of them in the center of the area. He couldn't help but wonder how Ventus was doing, since he had been gone a few hours now. Hopefully he was doing okay.

"Can't stop looking for a fight, can you?" Ansem asked while he remained invisible. He immediately noticed Lightning go on guard, and the soldier was immediately wise enough to point the Keyblade right where he appeared. "Impressive," he said after a small hmph. Her senses were very keen. But it wouldn't do her any good today. The fight wasn't even about her today, or any of them. They'd discover soon enough why Ansem and the other villains were appearing here, and it wasn't to die.

Aqua stiffened instantly at the appearance, glaring at Ansem with eyes full of hatred. "We have no other choice," she said in response to his question. "The lot of you are antagonizing us, and we're through with it!" She heard a dark portal open not too far off, causing her to turn her head. She blinked at who she saw.

"That's who we are, Master Aqua--antogonists," Xemnas said in reply, stopping not too far from the group. "We have to act out our jobs correctly, of course. And why wouldn't we? We get such enjoyment out of it." But he was just a Nobody; he couldn't feel anything. Not yet, at least.

  • Author
"Yeah right!" Sora spat at Xemnas, summoning his Keyblade and glaring at the Nobody. He didn't enjoy anything; he didn't have a heart. It looked like he never would, because despite all his existences, in this form, he never gained a heart. He almost pitied him for it, but he was cruel and evil. He had absolutely no conscious now, which meant he was an enemy. Simple as that. Off to the side, Xehanort also appeared, and so did Orphan. Great. Just great.
Master Eraqus had his blade at his side upon seeing more enemies appear, his eyes scornful as he stared at Master Xehanort. "You never did fight fairly, Xehanort," he quipped. His scars were proof of it, but at least Terra wasn't around to deal with such torture. One more portal opened on another side of the area, the youngest Master appearing with a smirk. Riku didn't say a word, obviously satisfied with their dwindling numbers.
  • Author
"There is no need to fight fairly when you're dealing with those who attempted to kill you in the past," Master Xehanort said smoothly to Master Eraqus. Terra believed that he killed him a few years ago, and he would have if his other halves were not in existence. He should have used all of his strength then, but now he was pulling out the "big guns". That was fine just as long as he got his way in the end.
"It was done with good reason!" Roxas spat, gripping Oblivion tightly with his right hand as he glared at Xehanort. They were threatening their worlds, which they were destined to protect. Their reasons were justified, but Xehanort couldn't handle that kind of truth.
  • Author

"And my reasons are as just as yours," Xehanort said with a small, evil smile. "Kingdom Hearts is within my grasp. It would be a crime if I did not seize it."

"You're mad," Lightning said lowly, tightening her grip on the weapon that was now down by her side. Xehanort was absolutely insane, but she knew that from the start. He killed her parents and kidnapped her brother. And she knew all about Vanitas and the other hassles that he caused over ten years ago. He was so selfish, and insane.
