Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Nah," Riku commented with a shake of his head. He crossed his arms over his broad chest, still holding a smirk against his lips. "Just determined." He was told he would get part of the power Kingdom Hearts held to himself--his Dark self. The Darkness would grant him more speed, agility, summons, the like. It would be a good addition to what he already had.

Xehanort's smile remained at Riku's input. He truly was on their side; he couldn't have been more pleased with how things were turning out. "What you consider to be 'mad', I consider to be 'tactical.' 'Intelligent,'" he said to Lightning, his gold eyes piercing her blue ones. "How else could I have gotten away with killing your parents and kidnapping your brother?" He saw he expression turn to fury, though he knew heartbreak lingered behind it. And he was pleased with that as well.

Aqua tsked in disgust at Xehanort's words, but she grew furious when she heard laughter. Her eyes darted to Riku, piercing him with disapproval and disappointment. "Stop laughing!" she hollered immediately. "Her losses are funny to you now? What's the matter with you?!"

Riku only smiled, but it was far from his usual smile. This was one was dark, sadistic. "...Everything," he said, gold eyes gleaming.

"Tch," Lightning grunted, gripping her weapon more tightly. Don't let it get to you. Don't let it get to you... She glared at Xehanort and only Xehanort, though Orphan also held much of her rage. And she felt more sadness for Riku. "You'll pay. You'll pay for all of it," she swore. She wouldn't die until her Riku was back and Xehanort was finally dead. He lingered in this world long enough.
Roxas didn't speak, only nodding to Lightning's words. He agreed completely. All of them would pay for what they did, specifically Xehanort and his remnants. The problems they caused wouldn't go unsolved. He would get revenge, and so would the others.

"I'll pay my debt another day," Master Xehanort said, though he had no intention of paying for anything. He would soon be a god, and gods did not bow to the wishes of others. "For today, I have other plans in mind." A portal appeared to his side, right on cue. And out walked the hooded man with the blonde Nobody in front of him. He noticed that she had some cuts on her arms, but she was in relatively good shape. Not that he cared. She was now a hostage.

Roxas's glare evaporated like water, his eyes settling on the blonde in another villain's grasp. "Namine!" he cried in fear, running forward instantly. He sprinted across the area, only getting halfway before someone teleported in front of him, hitting him square in the chest and sending him flying backward. He landed roughly on his back before rolling, stopping on his stomach.

Riku gritted his teeth, Soul Eater now in his grasp as he held it in the position after swinging, his eyes on Roxas's form. No you don't, he thought in disapproval, straightening. Roxas wouldn't be getting to Namine that easily.

Namine squeaked out a gasp when Roxas was sent flying back, and she took a tiny step forward. But Axel's firm grip kept her right in front of him. She had been about to tell him who the one holding her was, but seeing him attacked by Riku of all people left her too stunned to even say his name. Roxas...

I-If they've got Namine, then...Where's Kairi? Sora thought fearfully, glancing from his Nobody to Kairi's. He didn't dare ask his question aloud, though he was afraid Vanitas would suddenly grace them with his presence with Kairi as his hostage. What was Namine even doing outside Disney Castle? She should have been there, safe!

Roxas lifted his head, grunting at a surge of pain that went through his back. He made eye contact with Namine helplessly, fear in his eyes. No...he thought. How could this have happened? She was supposed to be at Disney Castle, where she was safe.

Master Eraqus looked from Roxas to the blonde before his eyes settled on Xehanort. "What is the meaning of this?!" he demanded. They now had hostages?! As if possessing Riku and trapping Ventus wasn't enough!

"I am not required to explain myself to you anymore, old friend," Master Xehanort said, his eyes gleaming for a moment. He had Axel kidnap Namine for more reasons than one, but the whole idea was actually Xemnas's. He knew how to get under Roxas's skin best, after all. And that was what they were trying to do with every one of their foes. They would break under the pressure soon.

"...Let her go, Xehanort," Roxas grunted, pushing himself up from the ground. He set a hand on his knee for assistance, standing slowly. His infuriated eyes locked onto Xehanort's, then moved to the hood of the person who was holding Namine. They would pay for this.

"Not quite, Number XIII," Xemnas chided from where he stood. "You are but a lowly tool to the worlds. Demands will not be accepted from you, I'm afraid." He smiled at the former member of the Organization, enjoying the anger he could see on the boy's face. This was an excellent idea of his, he had to admit. He always did like picking on Roxas, ever since he left his group.

Namine glanced over at Xemnas, though she then looked back to her boyfriend. He needed to know who was holding her hands behind her back right now. He needed to know who apparently was no longer on their side. "Roxas," she started. But she didn't get too far into her sentence. Axel's hand immediately covered her mouth so that she couldn't tell him the truth. Their friend betrayed them.

Roxas's eyes found the hand that covered Namine's mouth, and they darted to the face he couldn't see, hidden by the hood. "Let her go!" he demanded again, summoning his Keyblade back to his grasp.

"That's not a wise decision, XIII," Xemnas quipped, shaking his head slightly. "Violence will not be tolerated any longer." He nodded to Riku, who kept his weapon in his grasp and got into his stance, also summoning an orb of Dark Aura to his free hand. Roxas would only be struck down if this continued, and he doubted it would.

Roxas gritted his teeth, having a hard time believing this was happening. I've gotta help Namine! His eyes darted from Xemnas to Riku, then to Namine, and then back to Riku again. He had to do something!

"Riku, don't do this..." Lightning said, taking a small step forward so that she was closer to him. This was serious business! Namine was now in the hands of the enemy, and Riku was serving as their puppet. They needed him to at least stand aside so that they could help Namine, though she still had no clue how to save her. Things looked bleak.

The voice didn't faze Riku, his gaze still locked onto Roxas. Whatever the soldier was trying to do wasn't going to work; he knew his place now, and that was here. He belonged in the Darkness.

Roxas knew Xemnas would have little to no mercy on Namine if they got away, and that was the last thing Roxas wanted. He had to be with her to protect her; he couldn't let them take her from him. "...Xemnas," he said, catching the remnant's attention. He met his gold eyes with his blue, eyebrows furrowed. "You win. I'm yours." He would go with them, but only to protect Namine.

"Roxas, what are you doing?!" Sora hissed to his Nobody, stepping closer to him. He was giving himself up? He couldn't! They couldn't lose yet another friend here. There was no telling what would happen if Roxas went with them; they could kill him right away. That was the last thing that Sora wanted for his best friend.
Roxas turned his head to gaze at his Somebody, trying to convey the message through his eyes. "I'm doing this to protect her," he responded, only so Sora could hear. He couldn't lose Namine to their enemies. He wouldn't. "I have to."

Namine looked from Roxas to Sora, seeing the latter's expression change. He looked disgusted, but also understanding of whatever Roxas just said to him. She wiggled in Axel's grasp a little, though she couldn't get his hand off her mouth. Roxas...was giving himself up so that he could protect her. She was such a fool for thinking she could help him in some way. She was doing the opposite now.

"Very well then," Xemnas stated with a nod. "Come, Roxas. Dispose of your weapons and leave your comrades." His surrender was accepted, which Xemnas was thrilled about. Oh, how easily the Keyblader had fallen!

Roxas looked away from Sora and nodded to Xemnas, dismissing his Keyblade and then slowly walking across the gap that seperated his friends and the villains. He could feel Riku's eyes trailing him like a hawk, which he understood, but he didn't plan on pulling any tricks. Namine's life was at risk, and he wasn't about to do something stupid.

Namine's pale blue eyes trailed Roxas's movements, just as every person's did. She wished that she could speak; she wished that she could tell him not to do this for her. But even if she could say it, she knew that he wouldn't change his mind. He thought that this was protecting her, and maybe it was, but it was putting everyone else in danger. She felt so guilty for it already and it was just unfolding now.

Roxas walked past Riku, glaring at the older warrior with anger as he approached Xemnas and obediently stood beside him. He turned around to face his other friends, meeting their gazes. It's okay, he told them silently. He would be fine, and so would they. There was strength in numbers, but their hearts made up for their lack of team members. Roxas grunted in disgust when he felt Xemnas's hand on his shoulder, and it took everything he had not to swipe it away.

Xemnas smiled, nodding to Roxas before looking to the other Keybladers. "We appreciate your cooperation," he praised lowly. It was about time they departed.

Xehanort hmphed at the angry looks of the Keybladers and Lightning, though he then looked to Xemnas, Roxas, Namine, and Axel to their side. "Take them," he said to Axel, knowing that the man would take them to the Castle That Never Was. That was all a part of Xemnas's plan, and it was proving to be an excellent plan. He truly was his Nobody.

Axel knew the order was directed at him, even if he didn't look over at the Keyblade Master. He held Namine by keeping his hand on her mouth, using his other hand to summon a portal. When it appeared, he jerked his head and motioned for Roxas to go through it first. He'd follow with Namine.

Roxas frowned instantly, and he turned his head to nod to Sora and the others in good luck. He was then shoved forward by Xemnas, who he turned to glare at before stepping through the portal. He would take their brutality, but he wouldn't let Namine have any of it. He would take her share as well.

Sora nodded to Roxas in return, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. They just lost another teammate, but Roxas would be strong. He wouldn't be defeated as long as Namine was around; he'd never give up on her. The brunet saw the cloaked figure lead Namine through the portal as well before the dark portal vanished from sight.

"We'll be in touch," Master Xehanort said with a small hmph. He looked over the group before he vanished, Ansem and Orphan taking their leave as well. Their business was done here.

Namine felt Axel's hand on her shoulder, but his hand was still over her mouth. The area was not one that she had been in before, but somehow the aura was clear enough to even her so that she recognized where they were: The World That Never Was, in the castle in an area with empty couches. Creepy.

Roxas looked around the room he used to come to for missions, a long time ago. He didn't miss it one bit, remembering how much of a zombie he was in those days, and clueless. He turned to look at the cloaked figure when he heard the portal close, glaring at him. "Can you let her go now?" he asked, his voice tight. He wanted nothing more than to hold Namine in his arms. He needed to...just because.
