Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas stopped walking at that, his eyebrows furrowing as he looked at Namine. "What?" he asked again, this time for a different reason: disbelief. She couldn't be serious! Axel would never hurt Namine, nor would he side with Xehanort! She had to be mistaken.

Namine nodded. "He fought using his chakrams," she stated softly. And she, Kairi, and the King were all fairly certain before he summoned them that he was who he was. From what Namine remembered, his suit was different from the others in the Organization; the sleeves were thinner, and his figure wasn't as thick as somebody like Vexen. She was positive it was him.
Roxas looked away from Namine then, pondering her observation. Was it really him? The hooded figure had never used weapons in front of Roxas, but Namine was pretty observant and wouldn't lie about something like this. And the voice... Roxas grunted, his free hand curling into a fist. It is Axel!

Namine looked away from Roxas, able to tell that he believed her. It wasn't as if she would lie about this. Axel...She wished it wasn't true, but he betrayed them for some reason. He was serving under Xemnas again, just like he had in the past. What could have compelled him to switch sides? Was he angry that the three of them hadn't spoken in many years?
Roxas released Namine's hand, whirling around and breaking out into a sprint as he hurried back the way they came. Axel was his to deal with now. His best friend would never do this to them! To him, to Namine! That was just it....Axel was no longer his best friend. He couldn't be, not after this.

Namine gasped, reaching a hand towards her boyfriend instinctively. "Roxas!" she cried. She started after him, running even if she wasn't as fast as he was. She didn't want him to hurt Axel, even if Axel did attack her, Kairi, and King Mickey.
Roxas didn't listen to Namine's call, skidding around a corner on his shoes before returning to a sprint. Axel was in trouble with him, big trouble. His friend knew better than to mess with Namine and put her in harm's way!

Axel sat on one of the pieces of furniture, his hood still up. He wasn't listening to anything around him; deep in thought. He didn't like being put in this position, but he didn't have a choice here. He served under Xemnas, and this was what he was ordered to do. At least he didn't purposely attack Kairi and Namine earlier. He could at least have a clear conscious about that.
Roxas saw the room up ahead and he ran through instantly. He stopped and looked around, spotting the "hooded figure" on one of the couches. Roxas summoned Oblivion to his hand and threw it, the weapon twirling vertically through the air until it pierced the furniture right next to Axel's shoulder.

Axel shut his eyes briefly at the noise, recognizing that a weapon just pierced the couch. Obviously it was Roxas's Keyblade. He opened his eyes and rose to his feet, turning around and seeing his friend standing there with an infuriated expression. He wasn't surprised at it; Roxas always did have a short fuse.
Roxas summoned his other Keyblade back to him. "You traitor!" he bellowed in fury, throwing his weapon at his "best friend" again. How could he do this?! He was betraying everyone!

Axel summoned one of his chakrams and threw it, deflecting the Keyblade and making it bounce off to the side. If he really wanted to, he could have hit Roxas with his chakram in the same attack, but he didn't. He didn't want to hurt his former friend, but he would if he had to. He had no choice when it came to upholding his duty.
Roxas saw that his attack was deflected, and instead of summoning another one, he sprinted toward his former friend. When he was close enough, he leaped and tackled Axel to the ground, the action not difficult despite his cloak. He wasn't about to let Axel get away with this.
  • Author
Axel grunted when he was tackled, his hood falling off to reveal his face. His eyes were narrowed not in anger, but in grief. He wasn't meant to face off with his best friend like this. Or rather, his former best friend. He wished he could make excuses for his behavior, but he couldn't. He just couldn't.
Roxas didn't care if Namine heard or saw this, determined to get through to his friend how ticked off he was. He sat on Axel's form and gripped his friend by his hood, picking him up slightly since he now had the strength. "How could you do this to us?!" he hollered in Axel's face, enraged. "Have you lost your mind?!"
  • Author
Axel only stared at Roxas without responding to his yelling. Yet in his mind, he answered the questions. I did this because I had no choice. And maybe in some ways, I have lost my mind. But you won't understand that. Axel wasn't allowed to explain even if he wanted to, which he did. He wished he could be honest with his best friend, but he couldn't.
"What kind of friend are you to me? To Namine?!" Roxas spat, blue eyes burning with rage. "You're siding with someone you fought against years ago, and now you change your mind on who you want to support?! What's the matter with you, Axel?!" All he could do was ask questions as he attacked his friend, both verbally and physically. Axel was crazy to do this to them!
  • Author
Oh, you have no idea, Axel thought to Roxas, though he didn't say it aloud. He couldn't even tell Roxas that he didn't attack Namine; he didn't intend to hurt her. She had a few scratches because she tried to attack him. She gave him no choice. And that was what he lacked these days: choice. He hated that.
"You hurt Namine!" Roxas shouted, glaring into his friend's green eyes. "You know better than anyone that that's a big mistake! I should kill you for even threatening her!" But he couldn't. Axel had always been his friend, not his enemy. He couldn't do that even if he was an enemy now.
  • Author
Axel stared up at Roxas, seeing the look in his eyes. He wouldn't kill him. "I suggest you get off," he finally said. This wasn't going to do Roxas any good. Yes, he hurt Namine. Yes, he threatened her. And he would do it again if he needed to. This wasn't about them; it was about something much greater than that.
"Or what?" Roxas challenged, eyes narrowing as he glared at his best friend. "You know I won't hesitate fighting back, Axel." He was an enemy now, and he would attack him if need be. Killing him would be a last resort, of course. He would avoid that until the time truly came; now wasn't it.
  • Author
Axel gritted his teeth. "And I won't hesitate hurting Namine." There. He said it. He didn't want to hurt Namine, but he would if he absolutely had to. It was the only thing that would keep Roxas in line here. From this point on, Axel was their babysitter. Namine would be too timid to create a problem, but Roxas wouldn't.
Roxas's eyes briefly widened before they gleamed with rage beyond measure. He released Axel's cloak with his dominant hand and brought his arm back, then throwing it forward and slugging Axel as hard as he could in the face. Nobody said something like that to him. No one.
  • Author
Axel grunted at the rough punch, knowing that Roxas put a lot of force into it. Why wouldn't he? Axel just said the worst thing that he could have possibly said. He shoved Roxas off of him, rolling over and then rising to his feet while he held his aching face. Still, he looked at Roxas. I know. I deserved that.
Roxas sat on the ground, his hands at his sides as he glared up at his ex-best friend. He didn't know if Namine was in the room or not, or had seen what just happened, but his expression was one Axel could easily decipher: Don't touch her. If Axel laid a finger on Namine again, Roxas would attack outright. Especially after that threat. Roxas pushed himself up from the ground and dusted himself off before fisting his hands. He then walked past Axel, running into him on purpose with his shoulder. "You're no friend to me," he spat as he passed. Not anymore.
