Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Ven's eyes widened, the blond summoning his Keyblade away and raising both his arms to try and block the attack. But it didn't work. He cried out when he was sent flying through the portal, and he lost consciousness with that, ending up on some world in the Realm of Light where he could start to recover his strength.

Disney Castle

Aqua descended into the courtyard of Disney Castle, letting her glider and armor disappear once she was on her feet in the soft grass. After listening to what Eraqus had to say, she knew that to keep her Light burning strong, she had to see the person that she loved. The young woman's eyes darted around, seeing a few of the castle's servants tending to the garden as she walked by. She nodded to them with a small smile and continued on her way, looking for Terra. She wondered how he was doing.

Terra was down in the basement, sitting down and literally leaning against the Cornerstone of Light as he read a book. The King suggested that he stay close to the greatest source of Light out there so that it would strengthen the Light that was already in his heart. The book was also meant to help, but...neither was. At all. He was starting to wonder if he had any Light in his heart at all, because he felt so weak here. His Darkness and the Light of the castle weren't the best combination.
Aqua's eyebrows furrowed after ten minutes of searching and no luck, and she focused on the Royal Mage of the castle as he quacked which direction she should travel. "Thank you, Donald," she said with a small nod. She had to admit, he stopped her for a few minutes, asking about Sora and the others. She did the best she could without mentioning the true troubles facing them, but Donald bought it. She passed him as he went back to work, the woman making her way toward the throne room, where she could access the basement and reach the Cornerstone of Light.

Terra gazed at the book blankly, unable to take it seriously. It was supposed to help somebody with a lot of Darkness in their heart conquer it, but it was clear that the writer of the book didn't know anything from experience. Terra couldn't take it seriously; it wasn't that easy to conquer the Darkness. If it wasn't for Master Eraqus's Light in his heart, he would have died a long time ago. And maybe now he would have the same fate. He'd face Xehanort again; he just knew it.
Aqua passed through the throne room, the place empty save for the red carpet and the thrones themselves. Once the pathway to the basement opened, she began her descent. "Terra?" she called, hearing her voice echo off the walls as she made her way down ot the basement. Was he really down here?

Terra blinked, lowering the book when he heard his name called. And it wasn't the voice that he'd expect to hear, like King Mickey's. Then she entered his sight. "Aqua?" he asked, surprised. He automatically pushed himself to his feet, the book loosely being held in his one hand as he looked at the woman he loved. What was she doing here?
Aqua smiled when her eyes fell on the man she loved, the woman tilting her head slightly. "Terra," she said softly. It had been a few days, but she already missed him so much! She was glad he seemed to be doing okay; he was safe, and that was most important.

Terra walked away from the Cornerstone of Light, feeling relieved to get away from it. But he didn't let that show in any of his movements or expression; he couldn't let Aqua know that his heart was actually reacting negatively to the Light. It would break her heart. "What're you doing here?" he asked softly, stopping a foot or two away from her.
"I'm here to see you, of course," Aqua replied with the faintest of nods. She was also here to strengthen her Light, not wanting it to fail her when she needed it most. Terra was an easy way to do that, and it was a bonus that the world was devoid of any Darkness. She needed to be strong, since everything was falling apart.

Terra felt relieved at that, glad to hear that she wasn't here because something was wrong with Master Eraqus or Ven. The small smile that appeared because of his relief faded at the thought of the latter. "Any signs of Ven?" he asked softly. He was like his little brother; he wanted to see him if he was okay. He hoped that he was. The more time he was gone, the more likely it was that he wasn't coming back.
Aqua's smile faltered before disappearing completely. She shook her head, glancing away. "I'm afraid not," she admitted sadly. She missed Ven, and was afraid for him. She hoped he was alright...

Terra sighed, stressed because of that. He glanced at the ground briefly before he looked back up at Aqua. "What's going on out there?" he asked quietly. Were there more battles? He heard about what happened with Namine when Sora stopped by the other day to make sure that Kairi was safe and staying in the castle. This was all terrible. He needed to get out there and fight along with everyone else, right away. But he couldn't; nobody would let him.
"Roxas offered himself as a captive to protect Namine, and Lightning and Sora split from the group," Aqua revealed, lifting her eyes to Terra. "Terra...we're all falling apart because of this. Master Eraqus... He even seems like he's losing hope." She shook her head and closed her eyes, lowering her head. This was awful. Where was the faith they all believed in through their other battles? What was happening to them?

"And what about you?" Terra asked quietly. Was she losing hope as well? He found it strange to think that Master Eraqus lost hope; his Master was always in control of every situation, always calm and always able to put an end to whatever evil came his way. But it seemed like these circumstances were too great for even Master Eraqus to conquer.
Aqua didn't answer right away, thinking about that herself. How was she doing? Was she losing hope? "...Yes," she answered quietly, nodding. She was losing hope, simply because it seemed the odds were against them and nobody was willing to work together. That was one of the reasons why she was here; she needed to gather strength for herself.

Terra didn't know what to say, so he didn't say anything. He let his book fall to the ground as he stepped forward, gently wrapping his arms around Aqua. I know, he thought silently. I've lost hope too. But he wouldn't say that aloud; Aqua needed to regain hope. She could still survive this; it wasn't like Xehanort wanted her for anything. He wanted Terra.
Aqua lifted her hands, gripping the red straps over Terra's chest as she buried her face in his shirt. She wished she could be stronger, but she couldn't do this all on her own. She may have in the past, when Xehanort took Terra the first time and she somehow managed to defeat him, saving Ven as well; but there were twice as many enemies this time around. It wasn't easy.

Terra kept his gaze down on Aqua, the silence between them thick. He broke it after a minute. "I think it's time I joined the fight again," he said quietly. His heart wasn't strong enough to face Xehanort, but he was an extra sword that was needed very badly by his comrades. It seemed like even if his heart was stronger, Xehanort would still beat him anyway. Why not just get it over with?
Aqua gasped before lifting her head to look at Terra, shaking it as her eyes grew wide. "No, Terra. You mustn't," she said, gripping his straps more tightly. She couldn't lose him too, not after losing Ven. And Sora, Roxas, Lightning, and Riku. She couldn't handle losing Terra too.

Terra shook his head, glancing over at the side. He knew that would be the response that he got. "You guys need me, though," he said softly. "Xehanort can't have his way with any of the people left..." Sora, Lightning, Aqua, and Master Eraqus. They didn't stand a chance on their own. And now that Lightning and Sora were gone, Aqua and his Master were in worse danger. He couldn't just sit by the sidelines.
"Things won't be any better if he gets to you," Aqua reasoned, eyes remaining wide in worry. The two people she wanted to protect most were Terra and Ven. She already lost one, and didn't know if she'd be getting him back. She didn't want to risk anything with Terra, either.
  • Author
"But things can't get better when I'm not fighting, either," Terra stated softly, taking in the fear that was in Aqua's eyes. It was so unlike her to be afraid, and he hated to see it. Especially when he knew that he was causing a lot of it. He knew it was dangerous and most likely, he would lose to Xehanort in the end. But if he went down, so did Xehanort. And then Aqua would be safe.
Aqua shook her head, her eyebrows furrowing as she backed out of Terra's hold, taking a few steps back. "I...I'll handle it," she tried, a hand to her heart as she glared at the ground. "I've handled things myself before. If I can get Xehanort alone..." She knew that she wouldn't really have a chance, but it couldn't hurt to try. Anything to protect Terra...
  • Author
Terra's eyes narrowed. "Don't you dare, Aqua," he said lowly, stern. Don't you dare try to take on Xehanort alone. She would get herself killed if she did that. And besides, Xehanort had strength in numbers and he knew it. No way was it going to be a fair fight. If Aqua tried to do this alone, it would be the death of her.
