Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua glanced up at Terra, blinking at his tone, but then she immediately looked away. "...I'm not going to lose you, Terra," she said softly. She wouldn't let that happen. If she had to die to save him, or join Xehanort's side to do it, she would. He was too important to her.

"And I'm not going to lose you," Terra said softly. He paused for a moment, glancing at the stairs behind Aqua. He wanted to go, but he couldn't. "Go," he said quietly. "Along with Master Eraqus, go find hope." There had to be something out there that could help them out. But Aqua wasn't going to find any assistance here. King Mickey was helping him strengthen his Light so he could get back out there, and Donald and Goofy were busy too. There was nobody to help her residing in this castle.
Aqua glanced up at the words, gazing at Terra for a minute before finally nodding. She would do as he asked; perhaps she could seek to strengthen her Light somewhere else. She turned around and started out, hands now at her sides. She would do her best to be strong for everyone. She was the only one who could.

Terra watched Aqua leave, and when she was out of sight, he couldn't help but let his shoulders slump as he sighed. This was terrible. Aqua wasn't the type of person who lost hope easily, but she did. And so did Master Eraqus, apparently. So did he. It seemed like only Sora and Lightning had hope left. Maybe their strength would carry the group. He didn't know. He could only hope they all survived this ordeal. Somehow.

The World That Never Was

Xemnas watched from atop one of the balconies to his castle as a lone Keyblader walked the halls alone. He was such a stupid boy, coming here to save his Nobody and the witch. Who else would he be here for? Certainly not Kairi, who he should have thought of capturing earlier as to gain another upperhand against the Keyblader. Of course, now it wasn't a problem, since Sora was walking right to him.

  • Author
Sora walked through the halls, Oathkeeper already in his grasp. He was quiet, but he wasn't slinking around in the shadows. He figured that Xemnas already knew that he was here by now. It seemed like none of the Keybladers could do anything without Xehanort and his minions knowing, so why bother sneaking? Sora was here to save Roxas and Namine, and defeat Xemnas. He had to change the tide somehow.
Xemnas allowed himself to be absorbed into a portal of Darkness. "Such a bad decision you're making, Keyblade bearer," he said, invisible as his voice echoed around the area. Sora would not leave her unscathed, that was for certain.
  • Author
Sora stopped walking, looking around for the source of the voice. But he couldn't find him. Still, he knew that he was here. "You made a bad decision first," he called. Taking Roxas and Namine was a huge mistake on Xemnas's part. Didn't he think that somebody would come to try and set them free? Sora wasn't about to let them slip out of his grasp so easily.
"Seizing what was rightfully mine?" Xemnas appeared a few yards from Sora, a sly smile on his lips. "Quite a good decision, I believe. The Nobodies belong to me, as they always have." Roxas was his the moment he was born, and Namine was a tool to the Organization when she arrived as well. It was fate.

Sora glared at Xemnas, tightening his grip on his Keyblade. "Roxas is my Nobody," he said. "And Namine is my friend. You have no right to take them from me!" He pointed his Keyblade and shot off a blizzard spell at Xemnas before he ran forward, starting a battle. He didn't want to listen to Xemnas's taunting; he wanted his friends safe again. That wouldn't happen until Xemnas was dead.
Xemnas dodged the spell, though he then summoned his sabers to his hand in order to defend himself against the young warrior. This would be a test of strength, he was sure, and he was ready to show Sora that he was facing terrible odds. He would not win today.

Sora battled Xemnas for a while, actually feeling confident. He beat Xemnas with Riku's help before, and because of that battle, he knew a lot of Xemnas's tricks. Still, he was hard to take down. He just needed one move to give him an advantage, or so he thought. He had false hope that he could defeat the Nobody who had more in store for him than he knew.
"Such a dire mistake," Xemnas chimed, dodging one of the warrior's attacks with a backflip away from him. He freed one of his hands from a weapon and summoned Darkness, sending it toward the brunet with a grunt. He would suffer the consequences of messing with Darkness.
  • Author
Sora's eyes widened at the attack, one that he had never seen before. And he was out of magic, too! He lifted his arms to shield his face, but the dark energy slipped beneath his arms and ran across his face, starting on the bridge of his nose and going onto his forehead. He cried out briefly in pain, stumbling back. What was that?!
Xemnas lowered his hand, holding a weapon behind his back as he stared at the Keyblade wielder. He smiled in triumph and satisfaction, knowing he had just marked Sora with Darkness. It was a wound that would not heal over time, which meant he was scarred forever. He would remember this battle, and how he lost.
  • Author
Sora lifted a hand and touched his face, blinking when he felt coldness against his fingers. But when he pulled his hand back, it wasn't blood. It was Darkness. Suddenly panicking, he came to the conclusion that he needed to leave the castle without finishing the fight. His Keyblade turned into a glider, which he jumped onto and used to fly out of the castle as quickly as possible.
Xemnas's smile remained as he turned his head, watching the Keyblader fly away from the scene. "You have been marked, Sora," he declared softly. Everyone would witness his failure when they faced him, and that brought a state of "happiness" to the remnant.

In another part of the castle, completely unaware of what just happened with Sora and Xemnas, Namine sat in the lounge. She was looking out the window at the world where the sun never rose, eyes soft. She didn't like this place at all. And she didn't like what it was doing to Roxas. Ever since he got here, he had been becoming more and more angry. She didn't understand why; she just assumed that it was because he hated this place so much.
Roxas paced back and forth on the other side of the room, running his hands through his hair roughly. For the past few days he had been seeing her, his best friend from so many years ago. Xion. Every time he looked at Namine, he saw her. Memories rushed back that he never knew he had, and he couldn't help but want to save her. She needed him! Why hadn't he helped her all these years?! I've gotta help Xion!

At the thought of her boyfriend, Namine looked over and saw that he was pacing yet again. That was a habit he picked up while they were here. "...Roxas?" she called softly after a moment, eyes soft as they rested on him. She wanted to talk to him, but she didn't know what to say. It felt like he was distancing himself from her, which she didn't understand. It made no sense at all.
Roxas stopped walking at the call, his ears perking up and eyes widening when he thought he recognized the voice. He turned his head, blue eyes resting on the other person in the room. Instead of Namine's long blonde hair, he saw the short black hair of his best friend. "Xio--" he started with a smile, though he immediately stopped when he blinked, Namine appearing in his vision instead. Roxas's expression broke immediately, his shoulders slumping as he lifted his hands to roughly rub at his face. Aw, man.
  • Author
Namine blinked, surprised when Roxas's happy expression changed to one of sorrow. "What?" she asked, referring to what he had been saying before he cut himself off. He wasn't speaking quietly, but she still hadn't deciphered what he said. She was concerned about his behavior; he wasn't acting like himself. And that scared her. He was the one who knew how things worked in this castle, not her. What would she do without her Roxas?
Roxas shook his head, turning around and beginning to pace again as he raked his fingers through his hair. I've gotta find Xion, he told himself silently. He had to help her, or she was never going to be safe again! But how could he, when he was locked up here?
  • Author
Namine pushed herself up from her seat, standing so that she was looking at Roxas. "What's wrong?" she asked quietly, seeing him acting like a caged animal. She didn't like it here either, obviously, but Roxas's mannerisms were making her nervous. What was making him worked up enough that he was pacing all the time?
Roxas turned, pacing toward Namine again. "Xion," he said, worry in his eyes. The concern was written all over him--his face, his mannerisms, his pacing. He missed her like crazy, and was scared for her. He had to find her and help bring her home!
