Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine blinked in confusion, tilting her head as she continued gazing at Roxas. "Who?" she asked, clueless. Obviously "Xion" was a name, but she had no idea who that was. Who would Roxas know that she didn't? Was it somebody from his past, in the Organization? No, it couldn't have been; Namine knew the Organization. There was nobody named Xion there.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed at the question, confused. "What do you mean, who? Xion!" he said, emphasizing once more. How could Namine not remember her?! She met her! When Xion was wanting to leave the Organization, Namine talked to her! Why didn't she remember?

Namine's eyebrows furrowed further, her confusion apparent. Saying it louder won't make me remember anything, she thought silently. She didn't know how to respond to Roxas; clearly she was supposed to know about this Xion person, but she had absolutely no clue who he was talking about. She never met a girl with that name before.
Roxas approached Namine, speaking. "You met her, Namine," he said, stopping before the person he loved. "You talked to her about the Organization. Don't you remember?" He lifted his hands to Namine's face, though gently. He gazed at her with wide, worried blue eyes. She had to remember Xion...They sat together in the white room where Roxas and Namine talked for the first time.

Namine felt confusion grow in her pale blue eyes, though she didn't know that was possible. She talked to Xion about the Organization. No, she would remember that. Was Roxas making all this up. "Are you...okay?" she asked, lifting a hand to his forehead. She slipped her hand underneath his bangs. Was he sick or something...?
"No, I'm not. I'm worried about Xion," Roxas admitted, closing his eyes briefly when Namine put her hand on his forehead. He looked at her again, eyes holding the same expressions as before--concern, fear. He remembered being like this when he fought Riku. He wanted Xion back after what happened, and he wanted her back now.

Namine shook her head faintly in Roxas's hands. "I meant...are you sick?" she asked, feeling his forehead against her hand. It was normal temperature. But he really wasn't acting like himself here, and she was certain that she never knew any Xion or spoke to her about the Organization. Something was wrong for him to believe all this random stuff...
"No, Namine, I'm not sick!" Roxas said impatiently, though he purposely didn't raise his voice at her. He was too close for that; he didn't want to scare her. He looked into her eyes and for a brief moment Xion showed up again, causing him to blink. He saw her, standing right in front of him. His hands were on her face, her black hair in between his fingers. Xion...

Namine sensed the change in Roxas; his gaze changed as if he were looking at a different person. "Roxas?" she called, trying to snap him out of it. She took her hand away from his forehead slowly, very confused. This was about Xion, wasn't it? He was imagining that she was Xion...He was imagining that the girl he loved was somebody else.
Namine's lips may have moved, her voice coming to Roxas, but it wasn't what he heard at all. Instead he saw Xion's lips moving, her voice reaching him. He could only gaze at her, his hands remaining where they were. "...Xion," he said breathlessly. He could see her; she was here!

Namine's eyes widened considerably, the blonde lifting her hands and removing Roxas's hands from her face as she took a few steps back. She shook her head at Roxas, alarmed. He really was imagining her to be somebody else. And the way that he looked at her was the way that he would look at Xion...He really, really cared about her.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, the boy shaking his head. "What's wrong?" he asked, taking a step toward her and reaching out a hand. Why was she looking at him like that? Was she scared of him? She had nothing to be scared of; he wanted to help her.

Namine took another step back to avoid Roxas's hand, dumbfounded. "I'm not Xion," she said, shaking her head as moisture came to her eyes. But I know you wish I was. Whoever Xion was, Roxas seemed to care for her more than he cared for Namine. How could that be true, though? There was no Xion!
"What? Xion, don't be silly," Roxas said with a small smile, but after a minute, the black hair turned to blond, growing in length. His smile faltered, his hand retracting. He stared at the person before him in confusion and bewilderment. Namine? He lifted his hands to his face, rubbing his eyes before looking at her again. It was Namine now, not Xion. Roxas shook his head, bringing a hand to sit in his hair as he stared at the ground. What's happening?

Namine took another step back, though she really wanted to be closer to him. But not if he was going to picture her as another girl. Not if he was going to smile sweetly at her when he wouldn't do that with Namine. She didn't understand...at all. She was starting to get worried over Roxas's sanity. And his heart.
Roxas squeezed his eyes closed, sad. "What's happening to me?" he wondered aloud, weakly. This wasn't right. Why was he seeing two different people? Who was really here--Namine or Xion? Xion was alive, he knew she was. But...if she wasn't here, where was she?

Namine's lips parted, and for a moment, she couldn't find her voice. "Roxas..." she managed after a moment, staying where she was. She didn't know how to answer that question either. She wished that she could, because she was wondering the same thing. Something was definitely wrong here, but she didn't know how or why this was happening.
Roxas didn't lift his gaze, though two voices reached him at the call--Namine's, and Xion's. He shook his head and turned, walking away. He wanted to apologize, but he didn't know who he would be apologizing to. He needed a minute to himself, to figure this out. This wasn't normal.

Namine watched in confusion and concern, but then she looked away. Her hands came up and touched the extra fabric that was on her shoulders, her fingers touching the hood. Doing something she never thought she'd do before, she slowly lifted the hood and covered her face. Shutting her eyes, a tear escaped her. This is wrong. Very wrong.
Roxas reached the hall and he grunted in both pain and sadness. This wasn't right, seeing two different people that he cared about immensely. He broke into a run, not caring where he ended up, just needing to get away.

Axel stood in his old bedroom, gazing out the window as he held an item in his hand. He didn't look at it though, since he already had the faces in the picture memorized. He had to remind himself that he was doing this for them. He was losing two of his best friends but keeping two others. He had no choice but to keep up this charade.
Roxas ran through the halls, but upon growing tired, he turned a corner and stopped. He grunted before sliding down the wall, his eyes soft with sadness. He drew his knees up and wrapped his arms around them, burying his face in the fabric of his cloak. Why was this happening to him? He loved Namine, but was mistakening her for his best friend!

Axel walked out of his room when he heard a noise, the photo safely tucked away in his sleeve. As soon as he stepped out, he saw the boy sitting on the ground. He looked down at Roxas with bewildered eyes, concern lingering behind them. What was his deal?
Roxas was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't sense a presence nearby, forgetting this section of the castle was where Axel's bedroom was located. He kept his eyes closed, inhaling the leather of his coat as he tried sorting out his thoughts. But it wasn't working.

Axel nudged Roxas with his boot silently, unsure of what else to do. If they were on good terms, he would tease him about this, but they weren't close to being alright with each other. Axel threatened Namine, after all. And caused her physical harm. It was hard to believe that they would ever be pals again after all that.
