Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Ansem the Wise watched the Door fade away once the young woman walked through, and he knew that he had been correct that he was not meant to walk through. Still, his smiled to the sky, hope rising in his heart for the first time in a while. Someday, he would find his way again.

Kairi looked out to the ocean in silence, still holding Sora's hand. A few minutes had passed, and there had been no sign of change. But she didn't give up. She wouldn't, not until... Kairi blinked suddenly, seeing something in the sky. Could that be...?

Sora exhaled a soft breath through his nose, feeling a difference in his heart. He felt...at peace. At that feeling, he opened his eyes and looked out at the ocean, at the same time seeing a streak of light in the sky. Was that her?? Did it work?

Riku pushed himself away from the shack, having been leaning against it. His eyes were skyward, and he could only stare as something bright started to move from above. Could that be Aqua?

"Sora..." Kairi said, her voice holding hope and also a little excitement. Was that her? Was it Aqua? Her hand tightened its hold on Sora's, the girl anxious.

Sora's grasp on Kairi's hand tightened, the teen stuffing the talisman into his pocket once more. He watched the streak, waiting for it to hit the water. Somehow, he just knew that this was something that was caused by what he and Kairi just did. He had successfully opened the Door to Light!

Aqua fell from the sky in a blue streak of light, heading straight for the water. When she hit the sea, she went in head first, and that woke her from her daze she had been in. She held her breath, swimming for the water's surface. Then she could see where the Door brought her.

Kairi's eyes widened, and she let out a small hum of happiness. That splash... It meant somebody just arrived. And with the memory in her mind, Sora and Riku came back that same exact way from the Realm of Darkness. It was her... Aqua was back in the Realm of Light.

Sora saw the body rise to the surface of the ocean, and he couldn't stop himself from calling out to the person he had been searching for. "Hey!" he called, lifting a hand and waving to get the person's attention. It really was her, wasn't it? He had managed to find her; he had saved her. He was so relieved over that for some reason.

Aqua sucked in some fresh air after reaching the surface of the water, at the same time hearing somebody call to her. Turning in the direction of the voice, her eyes widened. Ven?! she thought in shock. However, when she blinked, the image of her friend disappeared, and instead she saw another boy... Somebody that looked familiar. The young Keyblader started swimming toward the shore immediately, the atmosphere reminding her of a place she once visited. Aqua needed to remember.

"He did it..." Riku said to himself, watching the person in the water. Sora really did it!

Sora lowered his arm, a chuckle of happiness leaving his lips. Aqua....she was here, in front of him. She was in the Realm of Light, alive and seemingly unhurt. And she hasn't changed a bit...Sora blinked at the thought. Where had that come from?

Aqua swam up to the shore until her feet met the wet sand underneath the water. She then stood up, instead stepping through the water to get to shore. Her eyes were on the two people dead ahead of her, able to sense Light in each of them.

Kairi squeezed Sora's hand as she looked at Aqua. He really did it... He saved her.

Sora watched Aqua come closer to shore, and he couldn't help but feel good about what he and Kairi had just accomplished. "Aqua..." he said without thought, forgetting that the letter had said she was "Master Aqua". He had expected to feel intimidated by her, but for some reason, he was very comfortable. It was like seeing a friend that he hadn't come in contact with for ten years, even if the two of them hadn't been friends.

Aqua came to a stop in front of the two people, and she looked at each of them. She sensed light within the young girl, and saw that the boy before her was a spitting image of Ven. It made her smile, and she instantly remembered both of them. "Kairi..." she said, seeing the image of the little girl she met in Radiant Garden so long ago. And she also recognized the necklace she still wore. As for the boy...she felt close to tears. It was him, wasn't it? Sora...

Kairi's smile spread across her face. It really was Aqua. She remembered now, from when she was a little girl. She saved her from monsters way back then, before her grandmother came to get her near the palace. That was her...

Sora glanced over at Kairi, surprised that Aqua knew who she was. And judging by Kairi's expression, she seemed to know Aqua as well. Why didn't Kairi tell anybody? He left that question alone, looking back at Aqua and seeing that she was staring at him.

It was then that Aqua knew for sure, remembering what the man in the Realm of Darkness told her. Sora wielded the Keyblade, and right now, she could sense the power within him. He protected the Light...and more than just the worlds. Aqua's eyes went back over to Kairi. She was protected as well, her Light having taken her to the Light of another.

Kairi met Aqua's gaze, her smile remaining. "It's nice to see you again," she said politely, the words accompanied with a nod. It had been so long, yet she remembered exactly who she was. And she didn't look any different.

Sora very confused now, Kairi making it sound like she really knew Aqua. Regardless, he knew that he would talk about it with Kairi later. He looked back at Aqua, finally recognizing her from his own past experience. "I remember you," he said to the Keyblade Master. "You came here before..." That was, what, eleven years ago?
Aqua smiled at Kairi for the greeting, and she nodded to Sora with a soft smile as well. "That's right," she said softly. "And my, how you've grown..." Her eyes went from the redheaded beauty to the handsome young man before her. They both have grown up so well, she thought. But...she felt as if something was missing.
  • Author
Sora felt himself smile, nodding once at Aqua's words. Well sure he had grown; he had just been a child when she first met him. An innocent kid who had no idea as to the danger that threatened the worlds, and a kid who had no clue what a Keyblade was. A lot had changed in the past eleven years.
"Sora," Aqua said then, looking at the boy. "Where's your friend? The one I saw you here with?" She thought for a moment of his name. "...Riku, was it?" When she was here last, he had the power of the Keyblade as well...but she hadn't heard anything about him. She hoped he was alright.

"He's around somewhere..." Sora said, turning around and scanning the area. When he saw his friend by the shack, he waved to him. "Hey Riku!" he called, motioning for him to come over and join them. Why hadn't he come over sooner? He was a part of everything too, after all.

Aqua turned her head to look over where Sora was calling, and her smile faded in surprise to the young man she saw standing not too far off. That...was Riku? The sincere boy she met so many years ago?

Riku blinked at the call of his name, and his eyes went to Aqua when he felt her gaze on him. Yeah...he remembered her. How could he forget? She was someone that left the Island, and he never forgot that as a kid. The oldest teen started toward all three of the people he knew in silence, knowing that he could no longer observe from a distance.

Sora lowered his hand when Riku came over, and he looked from Riku to Aqua and then to Kairi. He was surprised that the three of them all knew Aqua but didn't realize it until they saw her, but that made introductions easier. He was just trying to take it in stride; this was a big step for completing their mission, and now all they had to do was find Terra and Ventus.

Aqua's gaze remained on the oldest of the trio as he came to a stop next to Kairi, and she smiled faintly. "Hello again," she greeted politely. The power of the Keyblade was still burning strong within him, but there were also traces of Darkness. This startled her a little, but she tried not to let it show. He's fallen to the Darkness?

Riku nodded once in greeting. "Long time no see," he said with a small smile. She hadn't changed at all in appearance, or personality for that matter. From what he could remember at least.

  • Author
Sora glanced at Riku before he looked back to Aqua, again feeling like he wasn't quite himself. He had met Aqua one time; why did he feel so familiar with her? It was such a strange sensation, and he knew that it wasn't natural for him to feel this way. Regardless, he kept those feelings to himself.

"Mm," Aqua hummed quietly with a small nod, pushing her thought regarding Riku aside for now. "How long has it been, anyway?" she asked all of them, looking to each of the teens. They were all grown up, from what she could see. And the last time she saw them, they were all tykes.

"Well," Kairi started softly, tilting her head a little. "None of us have seen you since we were really little. And I remember that it was just before I left Radiant Garden..." That was around the time when her home started falling apart. "So, I'd say about eleven years."

  • Author
Sora nodded in agreement, glancing down at the ground in thought. "Yeah, that sounds about right," he said, looking to Kairi before he looked to Aqua again. It had been a very long time...he and Riku had been so little.
