Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora glanced back down at Riku on the beach, figuring that they should join him. "Let's go," he said to Kairi, motioning to Riku with his head. It was time to get back with the third member of their trio.
Kairi nodded once, glancing over to Riku before she turned around. She then started toward the bridge, that way she could get down on the beach where Riku was.

Sora walked a little behind Kairi for part of the way, but once they were on the bridge, he took the opportunity to jump. He landed on his feet smoothly before he started over towards Riku.
Riku had the coconut in his hands, and when he caught movement out of the corner of his eye, he tossed the coconut over in that person's direction. "Heads up," he said, thinking Sora could take back his little surprise.

Sora's reflexes were good even without the Keyblade, so he had no problem side-stepping and letting the coconut touch the ground next to him. He stopped a few feet away from Riku, eyebrow arched. Really, Riku?
Riku looked up at Sora and shrugged. "Couldn't resist," he said, smirking up at his best friend. He was lucky Riku didn't tackle him, but he realized that they were training today. Sora got beat up enough.

"Yeah, sure," Sora said, rolling his eyes and walking up to his best friend. "Let me guess: Training is going to be extra painful today?" That would make sense as to why Riku wasn't going after him right now.
"You'll find out," Riku said, his smirk growing. "Why, scared?" Sora was a fast learner, so today's wasn't going to be as easy as the first time...if it could be qualified as easy.

"Yeah right!" Sora said, shaking his head. As if he would be afraid of just a training session. He had faced things much more frightening than that, even if Riku's lessons really were painful.

Kairi approached the boys, having just left the shack. She heard a little bit of the conversation, but she knew what it was about. "Don't get too rough, boys. I'll be watching today," she said, coming to a stop next to Sora as she looked at both of them.

Riku shook his head. "No problem," he said. He then motioned to his trainee. "I don't want to embarrass Sora in front of his girlfriend anyway."

"As if you haven't done it enough in the past," Sora said while rolling his eyes, an amused smile appearing on his face. Riku always embarrassed him in front of Kairi, whether they were dating or not.
Riku laughed a little, and he pushed himself up from the ground. After dusting himself off, he looked to Sora. "Wanna get started? Might as well," he said, since they were on the topic anyway.
  • Author
"Yeah, sure," Sora said with a light shrug. It was best to get it done and over with; then he could take the rest of the afternoon and night to relax.

Kairi nodded. "Okay then," she said. She would just observe the training today, but before she did, she looked to Riku. "Don't go overboard with it today," she said, giving him a look. She remembered what happened last time, and she was sure he did as well.

"Okay, Mom," Riku replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes. He wouldn't do anything more than he usually did, apart from a few new moves. That was all Kairi had to worry about, unless Sora messed things up on his own.

Sora smiled weakly, able to tell that despite Riku's sarcasm, he would obey Kairi's wishes. But he still knew that this session would be far from easy.
Kairi only smiled at Riku's sarcastic reply, then turning and heading toward the dock to observe in safety. Of course, she knew that the boys wouldn't risk putting her in the line of fire; they cared too much about her safety to do that.

Sora watched Kairi go past Riku, his eyes following her automatically. He couldn't help but look at her, so glad that things were finally set right. Maybe now he could get his Keyblade back. But just in case things didn't work out, he needed Riku to keep training him.
Riku saw the look on his friend's face, and he only shook his head. He looked ridiculous, but at least he was happy. He knew that was all that mattered, after his friend being sad for so long.

Sora noticed Riku shaking his head out of the corner of his eye, and he instinctively turned to look at his best friend. He figured that it probably had to do with him and Kairi, but he didn't really care right now. It was time to get serious and start training.
Riku smirked at Sora. "Sneak glances if you must," he said, referring to looking at Kairi, "but just remember that it'll cost you." He and Sora had been doing this for a few days now, so things were getting more difficult.
  • Author
"Got it," Sora said, smiling sheepishly when he understood what Riku was saying. If he looked at Kairi during their session, he was going to be distracted and probably hit by Riku in some way.
Riku nodded. "Let's get started," he said. He then walked forward toward the center of the beach, that way the water wouldn't be a risk. Well, maybe it would.

Sora followed Riku, his smile fading away as he started focusing. This session was going to be hard, just like his others were. But at least Riku couldn't go too hard on him with Kairi watching...
Kairi ascended the stairs and sat herself down on the edge of the dock. She let her feet dangle over the edge just above the sand, facing toward the beach so she could watch the training session.

Sora stopped by Riku, arms down at his side as he waited for his friend's instructions. What were they going to do today? More of the stuff that they had been doing the past few days? Or were they going to start something new?
