Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas stiffened, lifting his head out of his arms and looking up. He saw Axel and looked away instantly, eyebrows furrowing. He didn't know what to say to his former best friend, things between them tense and unfriendly. And with more problems for Roxas, he doubted Axel would even consider helping.

"Tch," Axel grunted, lifting a hand and running it over the back of his spiky head. He looked away from Roxas, tempted to joke and tell him he could have kicked him over if he wanted. Instead, he made an offer. "There's, uh, Sea Salt Ice Cream in my room if you and Namine want it," he mumbled. Then he turned and started walking away.
"Sea Salt Ice Cream won't solve this problem, Axel," Roxas revealed, his voice soft as he glared at the ground. "And Namine doesn't want to see me." It would have been a waste of time, and ice cream, if he accepted the offer. Nothing was that simple anymore.

Axel stopped walking, looking over his shoulder at Roxas on the ground. "Well then," he said quietly. "That's a problem." Namine didn't want to see Roxas? He couldn't see that as being true; Namine clung to Roxas so often; there was no way she'd want to shut him out of her life all of a sudden. Especially not while they were here.
"You have no idea," Roxas said, then burying his face in his arms again. He was seeing Xion when he should have been seeing Namine, and now he was confiding in his best friend-turned-enemy. His life was more than messed up at this point.

I think I have a small idea, Axel thought silently. "Whatever's going on, do what you need to," he said after a moment. If Roxas needed to fight him, fine. But Axel couldn't just let them go. He'd have to hunt them down. That was his guess, anyway. Whatever Xemnas ordered him to do, he had to do it. He had no choice in the matter.
"What are you supposed to do when you're seeing two different people?" Roxas asked then in reply, his voice muffled due to his position. The love of his life was being mistaken for another girl that apparently didn't exist, at least to Namine. But she did exist! He remembered everything about her!

Axel turned around completely, eyebrows furrowed. "Seeing two different people?" he repeated, confused. What was that supposed to mean? He "saw" different people all the time, even in this castle. He saw Roxas, and Namine, and Xemnas, and-- He didn't finish that thought, though he did clench his hands in fists. Now wasn't the time to think on that.
Roxas lifted his head out of his arms, his eyes finding Axel. "...I'm seeing Xion," he declared weakly. Axel had to at least remember her, right? He was best friends with her too. Roxas hoped he did, that way he didn't think he was completely crazy. Namine looked at him like he was some kind of wild animal. It was...upsetting.

Axel's eyebrows remained furrowed, though the emotion that now was shown on his expression was one of confusion. "Who's Xion?" he asked the blond. Roxas spoke as if he was supposed to know who she was, but Axel had no clue what he was talking about. Xion...Nope, doesn't ring a bell.
Roxas looked away instantly, his eyebrows furrowing. "Aw, man," he groaned softly, lowering his chin to his arms again. This was not good. It was really not good. Why was he the only one who saw her? Remembered her? What was the deal?

Axel lifted a hand, silently scratching the side of his head as he looked at Roxas. He was confused. He was seeing somebody named Xion, and thinking that Axel knew her. Axel knew a lot of people, because he got around so much, but he couldn't recall a girl named Xion anywhere or anytime in his life. Roxas must have been mistaken to think he knew her.
"Never mind," Roxas muttered, glaring at the floor. It was just him then; he was the only person that remembered Xion. The memories were too real to be fake, so he knew he wasn't making this up. He would just have to prove to the others that she was real.

Axel grunted, nodding. He turned and started walking down the hall, towards the lounge. He was the babysitter, so he needed to check and make sure Namine wasn't up to mischief. He doubted she was, but Xemnas would do bad things if she or Roxas stepped out of line while they were here and Axel did nothing.
Roxas heard Axel's footsteps, and once they were gone, he buried his face in his arms again. "Xion..." he mumured softly, calling to his best friend. Where was she? And why was he seeing her now?

When Axel reached the lounge, he noticed that it was empty. He grunted, picking up his pace and walking in the other direction that Namine could have gone. She better have been in this area, or he would seriously start freaking out. He couldn't lose her. He walked down one hall and then through another, but when he reached the third, he stopped suddenly in disapproval and dismay. No.

Namine was kneeling down on the ground, a two year old girl standing with her small hands on Namine's arms. Namine's hands were on her arms in return as she studied the girl, but when she heard a noise, she turned her head and saw the man standing there. Seeing his face after seeing the girls, she noticed how the girl's bright green eyes matched his. This...is your daughter. Isn't it?

Roxas fought the urge to slam a fist into the ground, knowing it would only cause him pain and not do much good. The only way he could possibly prove to the others that Xion really existed was through leaving, searching. He had to go find her, no matter what. She was in danger, out on her own and alone.

"Lisa, go find your mother," Axel said tightly, his voice low. The girl wasn't used to him speaking to her so seriously, but she understood that her father meant business. She let go of Namine and ran in the other direction, going around a corner and vanishing from sight. That was when Axel shifted his gaze to Namine.

Namine slowly rose to her feet, seeing the way that Axel looked at her. It wasn't an expression she could decipher, but it wasn't happy. "Axel," she started. "Why didn't you tell us that you had--" She didn't finish the sentence. Axel was suddenly in front of her, and his hand was suddenly on her mouth.

"Namine, shut up!" Axel said lowly, his voice one that she didn't dare disobey. She couldn't say those words aloud! Xemnas could hear!

Roxas sighed, knowing what leaving meant. He would have to leave Namine here with Axel, alone. It wasn't something he was comfortable with. Maybe...she could come with him. They could escape the castle together and go find Xion. But...she doesn't even believe me, he remembered. What's the point in that?

"Listen closely," Axel said lowly, up close with Namine because he was so serious. "Xemnas can't know that you know. Alright? I wasn't allowed to tell you about my family, because then you'd show compassion on me." He saw the wheels turning in Namine's mind, the blonde slowly comprehending. He was serving Xemnas to protect his family. He took his hand off her mouth and stepped out of her path. "Move," he ordered, motioning for her to go to the lounge. She did, her steps quick. He was glad she was silent and not asking questions; he couldn't answer any of those.
Roxas lifted his head and started rising to his feet, knowing that he needed to talk to Namine. If he focused on her, maybe he wouldn't see Xion this time. They needed to discuss their options, and there weren't many.

Namine was walking quickly because she was now realizing the severity of the situation. Axel had a family. His family was here, and Xemnas knew about it. Therefore, Axel was serving him to make sure that Xemnas didn't hurt his family. She entered the lounge area and sat down on a couch, seeing Axel's ticked off expression as he stopped a few feet away. "Axel..."

"Don't talk," Axel said, lifting a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose.

"But--" Namine protested, starting to rise off her seat.

"Sit down and shut up!" Axel boomed, lowering his hand from his face as he glared at Namine. She wasn't understanding him, which meant that he had to scare her into staying quiet until she did. No questions were allowed. No conversation about it, no nothing. This had to remain a secret, between them. Not even Roxas could know.

Roxas started down the halls, suddenly feeling uneasy. He didn't like having miscommunications with Namine, and this was big one. She actually looked like she was upset with him for talking about Xion, but why? He wasn't crazy! His footsteps halted when a voice echoed down the hall, angry and bellowing. "Axel," he said instantly, eyes widening. Namine... Roxas broke into a run, taking a turn in the hall and sprinting in the direction of the lounge.

Namine sat back down, hands in her lap as she looked down at them. She didn't dare speak up again, and she didn't dare look at Axel either. She was starting to understand now; he had to be extremely cautious because his family was involved. He didn't want her bringing up the topic at all, did he? But she wanted to talk to him about this, so badly. She wanted to help!
Roxas made it to the lounge in a short amount of time, skidding to a halt once he was in the room. He saw the rage expressed on Axel's face, and the way Namine seemed too afraid to speak. "Axel," he growled. Get away from her.
