Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas put his hands on the ledge and closed his eyes, knowing what he was doing was risky. He could put Namine in danger with this, but she would be safer here than outside the castle. If he knew Axel like he thought he did, he wouldn't hurt her. They were clearly good enough friends to keep secrets, anyway. Roxas opened his eyes and hit the armor that was hidden under his cloak, a bright light surrounding him before he was clad in his armor. Roxas summoned his Keyblade to him before chucking it into the air, his glider being summoned. It was time he took his leave.

Axel saw the bright light against the wall in front of him, and that made his eyes widen. He came around the corner and saw Roxas standing there, in his armor and summoning his glider. That was when he remembered that he could fly away, and that was when he realized that was what Roxas was doing. "Roxas, no!" he cried, running towards the kid to try and stop him. He couldn't!
Roxas glanced behind him at the cry, and when he saw Axel coming for him, he knew he only had a few seconds. He jumped onto the edge of the balcony before leaping from it, landing smoothly on his glider, a grunt leaving him. He focused on flying straight up, his glider taking off in that direction as he fled the castle, leaving Axel behind.

Axel stopped at the edge of the balcony, his hands tightly gripping the railing. "Roxas!" he boomed, his voice echoing throughout the area. He felt enraged, but also, mournful. He knew that Roxas just put Namine in danger; greater danger than he could expect. Namine was only here to keep Roxas in line, and since she wasn't influential enough, Xemnas would get rid of her. And he'd do it through Axel.
Roxas ignored Axel's outcry, a portal being summoned in front of him. He soared through it, going to the Lanes Between and leaving the castle behind him. He was going to find Xion, and would prove to the others that she really did exist.

Later that night, The Land of Departure

Lightning rode on the back of Odin, feeling terrible from the battle and torture but still riding steady towards her destination: the castle. She assumed that Aqua and Master Eraqus were still there, even if it had been at least a day since she left them there. She heard a soft grunt from behind her, and she looked over her shoulder with soft eyes at the boy who rested against her. Ventus. She found him in Destiny Islands, when she went back and got new clothes and a sleeve that now covered the ticking clock on her arm. Hold on, kid, she thought to her brother. You'll be home soon. She assumed that he was unconscious at the moment; he kept coming and going between sleep and consciousness on the way here. She looked up, seeing the stairs to the castle.

Aqua looked out the window of her bedroom, her chin resting against her palm as she leaned against the windowsill. The light breeze shifted her blue hair into her eyes repeatedly, and she thought she was seeing things when she caught movement down below. However, when she blinked and finally focused, she noticed that what she was seeing was real; Lightning was back, with Ventus at her side. Aqua turned away from the window and sprinted out of her room. "Master Eraqus!" she hollered through the halls. He left his room at the end of the corridor, alarmed. "Ventus!" she chimed with a smile before taking the turn in the hall and heading for the stairs. She heard Eraqus's footsteps following her instantly, but she couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Ventus was alive!

"Light," Ven said softly to his sister, feeling her pink hair tickle his face as he rested against her. He knew that she was strong, but he didn't like that he could never protect her. He heard her grunt to show that she was listening, and he spoke again. "Thank you." Thanks for finding me and bringing me home without nagging for details.

Light didn't smile, since the situation was too serious for that. "Don't thank me," she murmured. "I nearly sent you to your death." Odin knelt down on the ground and she helped Ven off of him, one of his arms around her shoulders while her arm was around his lower back. She would help him to his room, where he would rest and recover. He was only weak, not wounded.

Eraqus pulled the large door to the castle open, he and Aqua stopping at the entrance as they saw Lightning assisting Ventus. "Ventus," he breathed, a smile on his lips as Aqua could only smile with glee. He was alive, and not certainly well, but well enough to survive. My son...

Ven shook his head in disagreement, looking over at Light as Odin vanished. "I can stand on my own," he said softly. He received a look of disbelief, and he smiled faintly in reassurance. "Really." Slowly, Lighting released him, and he stood on his own without wavering. He nodded slightly to her with the same smile, finally drawing a small one out of her. She lifted a hand and briefly ruffled his hair before the two started forward, where Master Eraqus and Aqua were waiting.
Ven was alive, and that was enough for Aqua. If he was hurt, she would use her Curaga spells to heal him. But she was just glad that he defeated Vanitas after so many days in the Realm of Darkness. He came out of this the victor, and she was proud of him.

Ven walked up the stairs, noticing how Lightning subtly attempted to both give him space and be there in case he fell. If this was a lighter situation, he would have teased her for being such an overprotective sister. Still, there were more important matters to attend to. He stopped at the top of the stairs, lifting a hand as he rubbed the back of his head and looked at Aqua and Master Eraqus. "Hey," he greeted, feeling sheepish. Were they mad at him for the stunt he pulled?
Aqua shook her head slightly before stepping forward, wrapping Ventus in a tight embrace. As an older sister figure, she had been terrified for his safety and his life. To see him was wonderful and incredibly relieving, and she couldn't help but show her happiness through an embrace. "Ven..."

Ven looked at Aqua when she hugged him, a small smile on his lips as he hugged her back. Somehow he wasn't surprised at this. Even if Aqua was angry at him for how he ran off into trouble without telling anyone, she'd be more glad to see that he was okay. And Terra, too. Terra...Where was he? Maybe he was asleep.
Aqua pulled back from the embrace after a moment, setting her hands on Ven's shoulders. She almost had to look up at him now, since he'd grown so much over the past few years. "It's good to see you, Ven," she said with a smile. She missed him.

"Right back at ya," Ven said softly, a smile still present on his lips. He was so glad to be back in the Realm of Light; it was good to be in an environment where he could breathe naturally and let his guard down a little bit. It had been a rough few days apart from the group, that was for sure.
Eraqus smiled at the small reunion, his eyes moving to the pink-haired woman nearby. "Where'd you find him?" he asked, smile fading. She couldn't have gone to the Realm of Darkness; it was most likely closed off because of Vanitas.

"Destiny Islands," Lightning said simply, lifting a hand to sit on her arm that was branded. Of course, the numbers were hidden by the sleeve, but she could still feel her life ticking away. It was nerve-wracking to just stand here while time was running out, but she would let Ven have a reunion with his two family members before she broke the news of her curse.
Eraqus nodded slightly, though he didn't ask question. It made sense for the boy to end up there, as he recognized it was a safe haven for him in the past. To all of them really, since they now lived there instead of in the castle.

Ven turned his head, looking over at Lightning in question. "What were you doing on the Islands, anyway?" he asked her. It wasn't like any of their friends were there to check up on; Kairi and Namine were both at Disney Castle. Ven assumed everyone else was in this world, but asleep. It was nighttime, after all.

Light looked away. "I had to stop at home and pick something up." The extra sleeve that she wore, and the fresh clothes. Her others were torn in many, many places because of Orphan's torture. She still felt some lingering affects from it, but she'd deal.

Aqua noticed the extra sleeve that Lightning wore, but she neglected the clothing for now. There was one absence she did notice, however. "I see you didn't get Riku like you planned," she pointed out softly, eyebrows furrowing. "Anything happen?" She knew Riku was going to be a hard case, but she was still curious.

"I ran into him...And Orphan," Lightning said, speaking bitterly of the latter person. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Ven's eyes widen. "I was close to a breakthrough with Riku when Orphan showed up." She lifted her gaze to Aqua, finally saying the worst part of it. "Orphan put a curse on me, and now I have less than two days to kill him or I drop over dead."
Aqua blinked, grunting in horror as Eraqus tensed beside her. Orphan placed a curse on her? That was awful! "Is there anything we can do to help?" she asked, glancing between Eraqus, Ven, and then Lightning. They would help if they could; everyone may have had their problems recently, but they weren't strong enough to keep them from helping Lightning survive.

"As long as Orphan's killed before my time runs out, the curse will go away," Lightning said, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. So technically, she didn't need to be the one to kill Orphan. Just as long as he was killed, then she'd be okay. She faced these spells before, and honestly, she'd rather have this than have a Focus like her last one. It was hard to change a Focus. But this task was one she'd gladly complete.

"Then we need to hunt him down, right away," Ven said, curling his hands into fists. Okay. He was still weary from the Realm of Darkness and really needed the rest, but how could he just lay down and sleep while Lightning was cursed?

"Right," Eraqus said with a small nod. "We'll offer our assistance. Where shall we look first?" He would do his best to help, as would Aqua and Ventus. None of their allies could win again in this war.
